As someone who watched this series YEARS ago.. It makes me quite happy to see an AMV for this series that's less than a week old by the time of this comment. Also the song is a great choice for our favorite prince.

sorry if this is a bit personal for a comment section, but as a trans guy who went as utena for halloween last year ive imprinted on this AMV like a baby duckling… there’s just so much to appreciate here about the mundane pleasures of boyhood and the incredible kindness inherent to all of our real triumphs! i love all your utena stuff but this was definitely the one i latched onto the most, will probably be rewatching it a dozen times in the next week 👍

Where did you obtain HD footage of the series? I’ve also wanted to make some Utena amvs but all the footage is low res This is absolutely beautiful by the way
