This weekend was on fire for sales. I was on vacation and came back to 12 items to ship, and I was running out of time. Over $1000 in sales, was in disbelief as im new to this 😅

Well technically your supposed to ship the shoe box in a shipping box not another shoe box because they are not as sturdy as shipping boxes
I prefer to recycle used boxes before going to paid boxes. This box was perfectly fine, he was just quick to react thinking those were his shoes 🫣 I agree some boxes are thinner than others but these were a thick Asics box. Totally safe 😁
Yes. I did once and the clerk said "I'll let it go this time but you're not supposed to ship in a shoe box."
You can ship shoes in an envelope if you want.
@@stitcher4729the clerk from the post office? There is no rule on what you can or can’t ship shoes in. Personally i always use shipping box but other resellers ship shoes in a bubble mailers and no complaints from customers at all.
@@hp4415 Yes, the clerk at the post office. As was said above, the boxes are not considered to be sturdy enough. Personally, unless they are sneakers or something soft like that, I think shoes should be mailed in a box.

I couldn't agree more 😜 But I always go into it with the mindset that it could end at any time. So that is why I don't put all my eggs in that basket. I still source at local sales and thrifts. I fear the bins will close one day and I wouldn't know what to do 🫣
Berkeys are a big bolo. We bought one for ourselves while prepping for the zombie apocalypse…lol. I found one recently for $20 (incomplete) and bought it to resell. Hubby saw it and flipped out thinking I was selling OUR Berkeley 😂

Where is the $8 a day thing available? Is that a physical place where you buy your stuff for reselling or a website?
Great question. I try to answer it in each of my videos but sometimes it slips. These dollar day bins are liquidation centers. You should be able to find some in your area by googling liquidation centers and your nearest city or town. They are popping up everywhere. They buy Amazon returns and sell them by a set price. And then the price changes each day. They are all privately owned so it's completely random where they show up. But they are becoming more popular in the larger cities.
@@desertsellers Thank you for your reply! I know my Amazon returns eventually go to an Amazon Center in MS. When my local UPS Store gets a big bunch of Amazon returns, they bundle it up on a pallet and then the pallet is eventually shipped to an Amazon Center in Horn Lake, MS. I wondered what Horn Lake does with it. I can see they probably wrap the stuff up again and sell it by the pallet. And then whoever buys the pallet, breaks it down again and sells everything in their liquidation outlet, probably some of things you bought, and some of the items you’re selling, and the item ends up in your buyer’s hands. Who knew. I’ve been thinking about selling things on eBay or Mercari. BTW, your video is interesting. I’m glad I stumbled across it. 👍💎⭐
