I saw some clips today of Reese in High School......NOW the beef she has with CC makes sense. The clips of Reese in High School show Reese was SUPPOSED to be HER. SHe was getting scholarship offers in Jr. High to Georgetown. She was ALL the hype. She was like a female LeBron. BUT.....by the time she got to College and through College she wasn't that girl anymore. Her game wasn't as athletic, her size kind of caught up to her and although still a really really good player...she was top tier WNBA player....but not the transcendent FORCE the hype in Jr High and High School would have had you betting on.
In college Caitlin Clark BECAME H E R!!! Caitlin Clark set records, got all the eyes on her, became WHAT SHE BECAME and Reese had always thought she was going to be that one. CC stole ALL THAT SHINE from her.
Now it makes sense why when Reese won her CHAMPIONSHIP she didn't care about celebrating her team, she cared about getting Clark's FACE. Caitlin Clark is getting ALL THE HYPE Reese had thought she was going to get. CC is the transcendent player REESE thought she was going to be. With all the other women in the WNBA, its racial, its jealousy, but with Reese its really personal.

Would love for someone to get the camera angle or audio of what Reese was saying as she hit Clark. I have played a fair amount of basketball, never seen anyone take such a windup arm swing to just block a shot, when fingertip contact on the ball would likely be enough to impact the shot. Reese was late on her defense and out of position, her elbow hit Clark in the head no way she would have come close to a shot block. Not a chance she was making a basketball move to block a shot. And to behave like a lying petulant child in the post game interview, body language, tone of voice and choice of words...
