@Wishes890 You're right. Mc Donald's doesn't downsize and mark up their combos by over 40 percent.
Car factories haven't done this, technology developers for chips and electronics....
ONLYYYYY The gas man.
Let's blame the gas man. It MUST be their fault.
/s
@@holdtheline4169you do know it's a 23% hike on the tax, not 23% on the product, right? Ends up being 2 or 3 cents on a liter of gas.
If the government "doesn't keep a penny" then why take the money in the first place? 🤔
CO2 isn't a pollutant. If what you're saying is true why censor public opinion. If the carbon taxes are to help the environment where is the money going? A forced 'retired' & unemployed CAF Vet.
💯💯💯
CO2 isn't a pollutant but it contributes to the greenhouse effect
@@r.f2173 What percentage?
Let me guess, you don't know.

@@holdtheline4169 I'm not even liberal. I state a fact and you insult me. Go to a science class once in a while.
Which party is going to stand up and demand that the 4.7% wage increase that all 338 MPs are going to get on April 1st should be canceled.
(silence).....yup, that's what I thought. It's tough trying to make a go of it on a minimum of $200,000 a year.
They have already gotten 4 raises over the last 4 years, last April 1st, it was 10%. MP life is a hard life.....maybe more time off would help.
Well said!
He’s absolutely correct
Last comment what a horrible excuse of a human being, Ms. Freeland
Nope, but I do remember the highest unemployment numbers, the highest inflation numbers the lowest GDP all being under Harper and Mulroney.
Oh yes the inflation highest it's ever been the government jobs that have been created and the GDP that's entirely based on one commodity
@@sjgf6466 so you’re saying that Canadians are better off today losing their guns, being crushed under carbon taxes, losing their freedom of speech, losing their standard of living
Why do I remember a witch from snowy white when she talks 😅😅
Why take the tax in the first place? Think of the administrative cost to collect and then rebate. The lib/NDP talking points fall apart because all can see the lies!
Why do you collect it when you are going to give it back. And who are the two out of 10 that won’t get it. People who don’t agree with you and speak out?
The wealthy. Thew ones the Conservatives serve and their sycophants bend over for.
It's on the internet just look it up
Why do they talk about government supports like it’s a good thing? It’s for when people are in rough places, everyone should be economically independent hence free.
This is apt 👍🏾
So let me get this straight:
A new tax that averages to 23% for "climate change" is supposed to be a net positive, because the Government is going to give you another inflationary one-time "benefit" worth a couple hundred dollars?
Meanwhile, we're seeing record budget deficits, experiencing generational levels of inflation on G&S, and increased interest rates on Canada's already record household debt.
This is what happens when your elected leaders fail basic mathematics.
Household that is a personal choice.
Good Times eh?
Pierre made a very good and valid description of this PM who totally out of touch with reality.
PP isn't telling Canadians what the have to give up to axe the tax. Just like when PP was in conservative government. It was programs that got cut, not wealthy tax breaks.
I saw a video a couple of weeks back that claims Freeland spends $6000 tax payer money every month for health and beauty. She must be very healthy.
Well, she certainly isn't beautiful.
Freeland sounding like that guy who played Hitler in the movie that many have parodied. The one where he's angry and losing it in the bunker.
First carbon taxes and then with those taxes(my money) Trudeau is supporting UNRWA? I do not want to support terrorists. Where actually all this tax money is going?
There is nothing virtuous about financially devastating families. How horrible these people have become.
Why is Canada so bankrupt. Two reasons, a snow board instructor that is clueless about running a fish and chip truck is in charge of our country and a finance minister that has a major is foreign studies , that is why.
Next Election is gonna be exciting and liberating
Trudeau will fix it again
And too late. For sure another GST tax coming to pay for it. Just because Trudeau goes away, our debt does not.
Why, you think Trudeau will change his mind about everything? Libs in the GTA will vote for Trudeau, and without the GTA, there is no win. Toronto is THE CAPITAL.
@mike-we8pb the next election is already fixed
Watch and see
I'd rather be a Canadian than a liberal
The biggest joke is tax for us and a pay raise for them.
Nobody is talking about thsg6
Hey Justin!
Most Canadians can't afford an EV. How about giving them a reprieve on their carbon taxes and a "FREE" Tesla?
Fair is fair, right eastern Canada?
See: Chang Li 'Pak Yak'
Free maybe for Free-land
Down with Trudeau and Freeland
$1674 to who? For what?
To change the world weather supposedly 😂
Follow the money 💰
Whenever I see Freeland 🤮🤮🤮
Trudeau must call a federal election now! We the people have the right to decide if we want to pay or ax the carbon tax!
Axing Pee Pee looks like a better idea.
Trudeau won’t call a federal election now coz he knows he’s not gonna win.
Did we the people get to decide what programs PP's government slashed to give the corporations tax cuts. No they just slashed them.
Notice nobody rips Pierre on Bitcoin anymore since it tripled in the last year
People will change their behavior??? How? I need to get to work! You want me to bike the 40 kms in the snow. Should I grow a pair of wings and fly to work?? I need to heat my home, I need to change the oil in me car. Total idiots! Canada is the world's example of how to run a country into the ground in record time!
We as Canadians could reduce emmitting GHGs to ZERO and it won't make one damn bit of difference. We are 1.5% of global emmissions but top 10% producers of GLOBAL FOOD, ENERGY and Minerals.
April 1st. Start of the Federal Fiscal. That's why he does these every year on April 1st. Let's to a quick little pole...how many of us are getting back MORE than we pay in carbon tax? I know I do not. I get taxed to death.
military families are at food banks now too ..this has gone too Far! She's no mathematician ..
To you all who voted Liberal or NDP, and crying now life is so expensive, YOU DO THAT!
Freeland needs to get of the drugs, it’s starting to show, wondering if it comes from the 2 companies Trudeau granted licenses to manufacture cocain, heroin, And other destructive drugs.
Please don’t write run-on sentences. What are you trying to say?
He's trying to say that if someone votes ndp or liberal they have no idea what's going on and must be on drugs

@@shadowbeagleTony sounds like he may be projecting
@Pierrepolievre Why don't you ask a question of me, if you don't want to cancel the carbon tax then tell all Canadians exactly where that money is going, where is the money going that you're not returning to Canadians?
Exactly! The Liberals under Paul Martin raided the Unemployment Insurance Fund in the 90s to help pay down the national debt. It's the same nonsense with the carbon tax.
Change your title: Freeland says Poilievre like a "bank robber" because he is so correct over his Axe the Tax position.
One more thing, even the Liberal opposition leader to Doug Ford's provincial government is against the Carbon Tax.
Provincial Conservatives & Federal Liberals Are Basically The Same.... Greedy..Selfish & Out Of Touch With The Reality Of Average People.
What are you willing to give up? Axe the tax means axe what it pays for. PP isn't telling us that part. What does he cut?
@@bradcanning875 Cut Canada's taxpayer funded, Liberal directed Lying MSM
While Canadians are concerned about how they are going to pay for lodging, heating, food, fuel to get to work, if they are lucky enough to have a job, clothing, all the BASIC necessities of life, they won't be paying attention to what he is doing, beyond the theft.
I skip over the parts where Ms. Cruela Devill speaks, like Trudy, can't even stomach the sounds of their voices!
'We'll take no lessons from the Conservatives when it comes to supporting the least vulnerable in our country"???? Finally some honesty!
Freeland is such a Karen with her voice!
Even if you drop the carbon tax, they will find another way to get your money.
“Let them eat cake” was France's queen's response upon being told that her starving peasant subjects had no bread. This seems remarkably similar.
CBC and CTV is actually reporting the news, their employees need food and shelter like everybody else. Canadians are rightfully worried and angry.
2900$ imagine that i could pay off my debt with that 4x faster or put it away in a savings account 😔 but nope i pay that and only get half back.🤬🤬🤬
Canada doesn't want or need a prime minister who feels entitled to redistribute $ from people who earned It , to those that didn't, THANKS!
I am a senior first time in my life i will have to go to a food bank also still looking for a job
Has Trudeau ever had to visit a food bank ? We have and it’s rediculous. Both my partner and I have been working though this pandemic and in healthcare and truckers to bring goods to people. Without hesitation we do this regularly day in , day out. And we are getting smashed by government 0:01 government to provide for our own family due to tax hikes to pay back lazy Canadian ppeople that took payouts and stayed at home.
Freeland should see more the 2000 Canadians showed up Pierre rally in Halifax and New Brunswick
Why would she care? PP got thrown out of government with his puppet master. He's not getting back in.

Why don't we get the rebate in BC? You would think we are in a different country or something. Don't say we get the "renters" benefit. $400 we can claim on taxes🧐

All politicians live of the Canadian publics purse Freeland... maybe we should desolve parliament and pass the savings on to Canadians because clearly politicians in Canada don't do anything more than put on a show.

@Globalnews @pierrepolievre Ask anything question for me. IF you're going to return someone money so they can have help....why don't you understand that I need help when I get paid, I need help before I'm about to pay for gas and food, I don't need help after I've already contributed to your project. That money you're taking every time I spend money adds up to hundreds of dollars and not only that it affects the prices the stores charge us immediately so not just carbon tax but the profits they're taking on top of that.
