Bonjour, J'ai mon deuxième cocon BogdanFly, et je vole avec depuis 2020, avant son homologation. C'est tout simplement le meilleur cocon ultra light du marché à mes yeux 👏👍
Not mentioned in the video, there is also storage in front under the seat, in front of the protector, Good for tent, cooker, or water ballast, etc. The bag from which I unpacked the harness at the beginning has the shape and dimensions of the airbag protector, can be filled with Vol Biv equipment and used in its place
Looking forward to seeing it in action! Our flying days are starting to get fewer and fewer as the cold sets in. I'm hopeful the winds are not as bad as mid-December 2021 into February/March 2022 this year, I didn't fly for 3 months! Cheers
Thanks for the first impressions. I was considering this or SEA Runa and I chose Runa. Maybe next time I'll try a Bogdan. Looks like a nice harness to fly.
Thanks, I have it already a couple of weeks but I have been busy traveling for work. I made that video yesterday and today I adjusted the harness and made it ready for my first flight coming up likely next weekend, to be continued.
Hi, thanks for the video, looking into buying one myself. Would you have a video update/review after flying with it, how it compares now to the range x-alps, what you like, what could be improved?
Thanks for posting. Can you give us an update on how it feels in the air please? Sorry, loads of questions!…..😊….do all the harness adjustments (prosik knots) stay locked in place once they are set? How is the comfort for long flights, back support etc? What is the weight shift like having the seat plate , i.e. do you have the same feel as a normal seatboard harness? Can you compare the feel to any other standard or semi light weight harnesses or even pro harnesses ? Do you need any extra padding on the seat board. How does it react to collapses? How is it for ground handling and coming into land with your legs down I.e. any pinching in the ‘sensitive areas’! Any negatives? Thanks again!
@@chrisstevens4680 For me feels good in air, all adjustment stay locked, +500h now, no broken parts, long flights +5h all good, sufficient back support. Seatplate,I dont weight shift so much, pull brakes or b's mostly, you can release breast strap to get more wiggle control, no ball pinching never for me, flew rax2, this one similar, I never do groundhandling, no xtra padding needed for seatboard
very nice, only the airbag should cover even the back. the oford 600 D should me much stronger than a normal rippstop. the rescue ist fixed hopefully at the carabiners, that you can throw the rescue in any direction ? The front rescue bag is big enough for a rescue with 5 liter volume?
I have the version 1 that has the reserve connected to the carabiners, I added softlinks and extra carabiners so I can disconnect the reserve for easier getting into the harness. The version 2 has the reserve routed to the back and allows for easy getting into the harness.
The Harness I review in this video is the V1 with the reserve connected to both carabiners. You take that connection and other harness connections off one carabiner to avoid to step into the harness. But taking off and putting back those connections is more cumbersome then stepping in. At one side I connected all the connections to an extra carabiner that goes in series to a soft link that goes to the main carabiner. This way I only have to unhook/hook that soft link from the main carabiner to have a semi step in harness. Do this at both sides and you have a normal get into harness. Or you buy the V2 that is a normal get into harness as the reserve is routed to the shoulders , not connected to the carabiners.

Great great video about your beautiful harness.
After 139 flights and 320h it is still going strong, no single defect so far.
@@TomCeunen next year I am going for Bogdan harness if yours or Niviuk Arrow P( its 400 euros more)

I prefer the bogdanfly, more durable and more accessible pockets. Better price aswell..

Indeed rescue is fixed at Carabiners, you an order different sizes of reserve bags, so always fit.
two questions:
isn’t the reserve connected to the back of the harness?
can it be that the stronger fabric is not available in black anymore?

Yup

how is this a step-in harness?
