Hey guys I work REALLY REALLY hard on these videos, but I am getting 10x less spread. So please leave a like if you enjoyed, as it helps me keep going.
This entire video only works when you have top tier mechanics and an excellent support. It's kind of silly. "check out this HOT new way of kiting" - proceeds to show one of the world's best adcs in some semi-lucky plays or while being really fed. LMAO
Even your support dont know how to managment you can still manage by youself lane manipulation is not that hard if you understand and dont tell me aphe have more range than jinx is just you dont understand
IT'S IMPORTANT TO ALWAYS USE BUSH WHEN POKING WITH AUTOS. Not only does jumping in and out of the bush get rid of minion aggro, it also makes you unpredictable if you're gonna come out of the bush to hit minions or the enemy.

extra detail about the first clip (disclaimer im not a pro but i have played all 4 champs fairly often over the years) the reason why guma can go for free autoattacks on kai'sa like that is because he has a massive range advantage on kai'sa using fishbones. she cannot trade the autos back because it would require her to overcommit into his range. Braum's role here is understated as well, he is correctly positioned in the clip to eat Nautilus hook if nautilus decides to throw it. Nautilus is one of the CC supports who is mostly good at getting picks and throwing CC, but he loses in an all-out damage tanking battle -- so he will instantly die to Braum passive if he goes in. kai'sa and nautilus should be respecting their weaker level 1 and looking for a level 2 trade instead, where nautilus will have his W shield to soak damage and kai'sa will have her W so that she can proc her passive much quicker. Jinx has less burst damage than kai'sa, but better sustained DPS; Guma knows this, so he looks to ruin their early laning phase by chunking kai'sa first so that if they *do* all-in, they will lose due to kai'sa's lowered HP pool.
Guys the lv 1 wave management thing has been a strat forever, it's called zoning, and it will rarely work in your solo Q games because your support will auto the wave 90% of the time unless you have a duo who knows the plan & how to execute it.
That trick to pull minions to a side of lane so support can easier to engage is sth required more than just skill. This video is so useful, both for ADC and Support, thank you.
He is actually pulling the agro of the enemy minions so his minions are damaging the enemy minions and the enemy minions are hitting him. But he is only getting hit by the range cuz he is kiting the melees
Man, we're chill in EUW. It's like we are relaxing, playing chess and drinking tea and biscuits and someday you bring us people who survived a zombie apocalypse. >.
I don't think we realize how insane this player is in the first 2 minute his opponent is 70%hp while he's full he used the bush to reset aggro of minion every aa
Harassing your enemy laner level 1 will also make their minions focus you, causing your wave stay healthier and pushing. Less quickly then just autoing the wave but its another bonus to this style of wave management.
I remember seeing this wave management trick in one of Pianta's video of all videos LMAO. He was saying "You want this minion, you have to trade your life for it"
The more fed you get, the more it feels like the game gives you opportunities and luck. But a true master knows how "lucky" he can expect to be and how likely it will be that a nice opportunity shows in any given situation.
The important thing about autoing level one is that the enemy minions agro on you, while your minions are still on enemy minions. This means that enemy minions are lower health, meaning your wave will start to push
Yeah the point of auto attacking enemy is so you get minion aggro, thus their minions are no longer attacking your minions. You then health pot up and finish the wave first to hit 2 first. Doesn't matter as much on 1st wave. 2nd wave is when level 2 happens. Also none of this is new

I think Gumayusi is an amazing ADC and I've been watching him since 2018/19. I think this strategy outlined in this video can be great as well. But can somebody tell me what about this makes it purely Gumayusi's "way" of kiting? Or playing? If I'm not mistaken after watching a few times.. the strategy is to focus on poking the opponent laners as opposed to auto'ing minions for a level 2 spike. Because ultimately you will zone them off the wave with health advantage and maybe even make them miss experience. But I haven't thought of this idea as "new". I'm not an expert or high-elo player.. just a long-standing one since S4 so I'm open to being wrong always! But others have mentioned already how this approach could be dependent on your matchup(Obviously a Jinx / Aphelios / Ashe / Cait will outrange most ADCs level 1. But what if you aren't playing those and the enemies just happen to have the same idea? You can't just beat your head against the keyboard mindlessly and expect to win an unfavorable matchup/trade( else you might be the victim of losing experience.) Many oldschool Ashe or Cait guides will advise you to poke at level 1 and early for the same/similar reasons. I also think there's a huge deal of importance on the skill/awareness of the supports as well and their communication. Not all supports know when/how to walk up and space ESPECIALLY as a melee champ. I'm just wondering why the title of this video makes these ideas seem like something that EVERYONE is taking from specifically Gumayusi. If you look at the World Finals between T1 and WBG...you will see that this isn't something that Gumayusi achieves "every" game. In game 1, he gets it done by hiding in the far-side lane brush and surprising the opponent bot lane. In game 2, you will see WBG does pretty much the same thing against them. Level 1 movements with your team could also affect the ability to pull this off. I think it'd be safer to say this is something a lot of good ADCs TRY to do every game rather than something they always do.
I just realized that Koreans have some thingy about spacing in games, I said this because Korean gamers in tekken also use spacing in their games like picking Mishima's and Jin for combo and defend spacing.
