I don't know why I'm getting this recommended here in Germany, but this avalanche is impressive nonetheless. All the people complaining about the swearing in the comments... guess a lot of people haven't worked in construction or any sort of workshop lol
After this stopped we had to walk out of the Bush. No cell service. Another avalanche that was 10 times bigger came down a mile up the road a few hours later. My friends truck was stuck there for over a month. We could have been killed. It wasnt like oh yay there is a huge land slide lets make a video
If you don't have any videos of your own except video games or eating bugs or some crap you took off TV I don't need your ignorant comments. I know most of you have never have been on a mountain snowmobiling and don't know what you're talking about. But Im just a regular guy, not a youtuber. So go bug MR Beast or something you low life'. Watch the video and STFU if you have nothing nice to say, or take a friggen hike.
no that is mostly snow. Came from way up in the Alpine, and ran to the valley bottom. 3miles long... Some dirt and trees in there too... Its called an avalanche. a big one....
@@revysledbum you didn't show an avalanche just debris and earth flowing with apparently water as in water-saturated earth .. But I'll accept what you said ..
@@xadam2dudex Ya it would have been cool to film it from the top of the mountain to give a better perspective. But I was 6000 feet lower down the mountain in the bush. and that's the best I could do.
Are you real people commenting on my 5 year old video? Or are you Elons twitter Bots?

This is not an avalanche. It is a process called basal sliding. Amazing that you witnessed it!
No its an avalanche bud. lmao
lol basal sliding is glacial. Does that look like a glacier to you?
Sorry to disappoint, but this was a big wet Avalanche.

There must have been a lot of snow above the trees damn
ya you cant tell from the video, but there is a big mountain up there. The slide came from 9000feet and we were at roughly 2500 feet elevation

Looks more like a snow/mud slide then an avalanche
What is an avalanche? A snow slide.... And if its big enough some mud and trees come along for the ride...
This is an avalanche. Some people man xD
Should've just called the video "Fuck dude" !
should have put it on private. but here we are 5 years later taking chit from the peanut gallery lmao

If you would have been a few minutes earlier you might have missed this landslide ..
Apparently these Canadian guys have never seen a landslide .. They do know that the adjacent land might also begin sliding too
you video these every day i suppose 🤣
Did you know that is actually snow and debris from the avalanche ripping trees out of the ground? Did you know it is different then a land slide?
