This cooler converts the oem coolant cooled automatic transmission fluid to an air cooled system that mounts in the wheel well. With this car being in a wreck before, we did not have much disassembly of the car. Hopefully the install helped you. Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe.

Nice simple upgrade 👍
Andy's camera work on point as well 😎
Straight fire 🔥
I would like to see a real life testing between the OEM transmission cooler you replaced VS the BMS Transmission cooler
Question, how does this cool the transmission when the car is stationary for example? There is no air flow when the car is not in motion. So how can it be better than the factory transmission cooler?
It's large enough to do the job. Plus it keeps temps lower at speed supposedly. So far so good with mine.
@@jspeedracing just the answer I was hoping for. Thanks!
Where does the thermostat come into play?
Wondering the same lol.
@@rrokas it goes inbetween the 2 lines up where the old heat exchanger use to go.
Another e90 vid yesss
Yes sir! Burger hooked us up with a discount so we made a little video for them. Gotta love it.
@@jspeedracing shoutout to them for sure
this is a really good upgrade. will this fit the 2001 bmw x5?
Any issues with this ? I want to get one but all bms parts are made in China. I seen the exact same cooler on aliexpress. I'm not saying it's not good quality but just want to make sure
I’m wondering the same thing before I get this stage 3 tune 😂
Amazing video quality guys. 🙏🏻
Thanks man. We are putting in the work!
simple and straight forward. forsure going to be my next mod. current heat exchanger is whining like a pig.
Glad to hear that, Carlos!
Thanks for video . I'm thinking about doing same upgrade on my n52/gm auto transmission ! I noticed last time i looked at the oil cooler that it's kinda leaking around the hoses where they connect to the cooler ! I'm also experiencing gear slipping over 2000rpm . Transmission service is done still acts the same .. no codes or lights at all which is a stab in the head for me . So I'm going to do this and see lol
You’re low on fluid
Center & other workshops due to the unavailableilty of the spare part. There are many other owners who are driving daily with the fear of the ATF cooler replacement and AT failures at anytime.
Please advise us with your expertise view on this and suggest us is there any other alternative for this issues and is it possible to use any after market ATF coolers to resolve the issue for the long term usage of our cars.
Your expertise and advice would help many thousand owners.
Thanks in advance
Do you have video installing optional Transmission Cooler Thermostat?
Yo and I didn’t even know the 335i came with a auto trans cooler stock lol
Haha yes sir
How long does it take for the transmission to warm up? The coolant helps to heat up the transmission fluid. Guessing this isnt a great mod for cars in colder climates.
Correct, if you just casually daily drive it especially in a cold place, this might not be needed. But if you drive spiritedly in a warm place, this would be a great mod!
Question. Installed this cooler but the hoses barely fit in the space between the fan and harmonic balancer. I am afraid the hoses will contact either device and get damaged. How did you work around that?
Maybe zip tie them to the fan shroud thing?
Where did you fill the trans fluid? fill plug on the transmission or did you fill it directly into trans cooler. Thanks
I think we did it into the trans, ran it a very small amount then topped it off a time or two. Please verify
@@jspeedracing okay cool, thank you
Did coolant need to be drained
That's really nice stuff guys! Dutch regards, Nico.
Nico_ e93_335i thanks brother. 👍
Hi Thanks for the video. Any idea om how hot the trans gets in traffic or when idling a long time?
figured it out? im having the same issue
@@e92marr all I can say is that it takes a very long time to get to 90C. The bigger problem is getting to operating temp.
Excelente amigo. Cual tengo que comprar para un bmw z4 2003 3.oi? Gracias.
How did disconnect the original one
Nice ,where did get adaptor to conect original pipes?
I think it comes with it. thanks
When I purchased it it came w black AN fittings which I thought were durable until the bracket snapped and took out the cooler along w the lines w it :(
Did you leave a review on urotuning lol
What are the sizes of the quick connectors
Not sure what size. They fit though lol
I hear a lot of people saying to add a thermostat. Have you had any issues without one?
I actually sold the car somewhat soon after this install so I am not quite sure. Sorry bro. Make sure to subscribe!
I am wondering the same thing. Nobody has mentioned running an inline thermostat with this kit which I was under the impression was necssary.
Excellent friend. Which one do I have to buy for a bmw z4 2003 3.0i? Thanks.
Hello, please email Burger to verify fitment for your car.

Will this work with an xhp stage 3 transmission tune?
Yes it should
Do you need to add extra transmission oil for this?
Yes
How much degrees this cooler down?
Transmission cooler it’s the same as the motor oil cooler?
similiar
I’m running 19 inch wheels and I’m very low I doubt that it will clear my setup by the looks of it . Has anyone used this same kit and routed it behind the kidney grills instead?
good ole mirrorless
Jeremy Bishop it’s so good. Last video had some killer shots. Got a new light for under the car when we shoot
Do you still have the s14?
wthomasw2 hey man. You must be an OG lol. Yes I do. Big reveal video coming for that car in a month or two. Been building it quietly lol
What can it be on a cold engine for about 10 seconds. I hear the BMW e90 335i N55 rattling
Ya the 335i's are a little tricky. Wastegate?
I have the same issues right now, did you fix it?
will the splash guard in the wheel well be in the way?
I am not sure. My 335i was a rebuilt title so it did not have any. I am sure you will be fine
The splash guard will not go back up with the cooler. Modification to the guard will be needed if you still want to have it on.
Does the heat still work in the car after this?
Yes sir
If you are replacing the radiator at the same time get the one for the manual trans
So a manual trans radiator will work on my N55? Already thought it was kinda stupid to make 2 blockoff plates vs looping the system with 1 connecting part.
@scottvandeven1150 yup and you need a manual trans coolant pipe that runs along the subframe
is the cooler compatible for 335i with dcts?
Please email Burger Motorsports to double check
DO YOH THINK THIS WILL FIT A 2008 535XI E60?
Please message the company. Thank you
If it were up to me id use both coolers
Exactly.... id have the mode before it also so it can maintain operating temperature... you don't want it hotter or colder
is this compatible with dct?
Please email Burger Motorsports to confirm
Nice kit but... didn't fit with the wheel liner without modification. Bracket didn't hold the cooler without modification. Transmission lines are very close to the harmonic balancer or the fan, has to be made to stay in between with modification. This is not as plug and play as it's supposed to be, not for me anyways.
How did you solve the problem of the transmission lines being so close to the balancer and fan? Seems like a disaster waiting to happen!
@@schem43 Zip ties. I zipped them to where they ride vertically and closer to the fan. Figured if anything happens the braided lines have more of a chance then the rubber lines above the balancer. So far so good with speeds up to 130.
i love how none of the bms tranny cooler videos shows nothing about hooking the bms cooler lines to the lines on the car coming from the tranny.......... you'd think that would be a crucial part to the install which then would be shown in the video but why bother skip it. just make it seem so easy and wham bam see ya later man.........its all about bling now anyways
If tire blowout will destroy the cooler due to its bad location and then the engine.
Can you please donate some e36 used tail lights and mudflaps😔
looks like downgrade
