1:24. "Oh, yes. We're not garlic-shy over here." My kind of chef. Helps to have a rack of lamb from a halal butcher shop. Surprising has more flavor than an ordinary butcher shop. Thanks, Chef!
I have to thank you. Three years ago and you are still helping people. I followed your instructions and the lamb was so delicious. My husband was very impressed as was I. It was so juicy and melt in your mouth delicious. I hope you see this thank you.
OMGOODNESS! Made this tonight for dinner. Had the lamb in the freezer from Easter. It turned out better than the roast. Purchased everything from Costco. I’ll be looking for this rack again. Fabulous recipe 👍😋 Thank you. And the rosemary was from my garden 🪴
1/30/24: OMG, I bought a rack of lamb last night and I cannot wait to make it. I scoured around looking at other recipes, but nothing grabbed or inspired me more than yours, so it's on for tonight! Thanks so much for such a yummy looking recipe. My mouth actually watered...LOL! 🤣
Used your recipe once again. Always turns out perfect. However, I put mine back in for 10 minutes and then turn off the oven and let it sit for another 10 minutes. Yum 😋
Thank you so much. I did this for one of the meat dishes for Christmas and it turned out perfect. Folks were licking the bones😂😂. Only one ingredient I added to the marinade was some fresh thyme. Will definitely be doing this again.
I tried this recipe tonight for the first time and it was soo good!! Mine turned out more rare but I can eat lamb as blue meat. Thank you so much for the insightful recipe! ❤❤
This is very similar to my approach. I do this with following: fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, fresh garlic, extra virgin oliveoil, a dash of lemon juice mix and let your meat marinate over night. Next day remove excess and add salt, ground pepper and a bit smoked paprika powder. Head for the grill and offset smoke(as in on the side not above the fire!!) it until it reaches an inner temperature of roughly 45 celcius degrees. Finish it off in direct fire so it get nice texture. Let it rest for 10 min and serve. The kids will love it, you will love it!
Sometimes lamb can have kind of a gamey taste if this is something you notice and don't like set your lamb in milk for an hour or 2 before cooking makes it tender and flavors are better 😋
@@b.freeman2118 yes let it sit before you dress it!! I always give it as much time as possible so ill set it in milk before work and prep it later!! Hope it helps
I want to make sure I understand the cooking time properly. The lady says cook it on one side for 15 minutes at 450 degrees, then turn it over and cook for five minutes more. Then let it sit for awhile and then serve. Will this be sufficient cooking time? If you read this, please respond immediately as I'd like to cook this for dinner tonight.
If I were serving heavy (and I'ma do this now) rack o lamb and Shepard's pie.... Ooooooooooo next holiday. I'm more worried bout the pie lol. Cheers mates!

Good video but I have some suggestions: 1-don't discard lamb fat. Drizzle on roast potatoes, rice, veggies or even toast. 2-recipe times / oven temperatures are variable and are just guidelines. Internal temperature is the true test. For lamb, you need 145F.
I've had good lamb and some have a funky taste. What gives lamb the funky taste and how do you get rid of it? Is it something they eat? But seems some lamb does need seasoning.
Hi i did, They fit me super well, my husband loved them and in some of my networks I published them and they already asked how I did them, I wish I could post a photo with the result
Hi, in the video, you say 1/2 cup olive oil n let it marinade for a few minutes!? But the recipe says 1/4 cup olive oil n marinade 20-30min. An hour if you got time. What's up with that?
I had my oven at 450 as well, but the meat was definitely not cooked. Even after resting, it was ver rare. I had to broil for a few mns, why? I am not a novice, but do not understand
Hi Hannah. This is meant to be served medium rare but if you’re looking for a well done version, you will definitely want to cook it for longer to an internal temperature of 160

great dish! I recommend scoring the lamb skin to get it really crispy

Made this several times following the directions exactly , it comes out perfect every time.

Putting all the goodies in my small blender now. So I can spread on the rack now for tonight dinner time.
I hope you loved it!
Awesome 👌 I'm a French Italian and Spanish. This looks so delicious 😋
I made this tonight and it came out fantastic.
Thank you for the recipe.

Should you do that before seasoning or IF using a marinade before adding that
lamb should not have a gamey taste, the older lamb or adult mutton does. ;-)
@@b.freeman2118 yes let it sit before you dress it!! I always give it as much time as possible so ill set it in milk before work and prep it later!! Hope it helps
@@art2chef well some does rather a strong taste i don't like much so setting it in milk makes it much better 😁
I also found by letting it sit overnight in apple juice and fresh mint get rid of that gamely taste
I’ve never eaten or made lamb so I am so nervous but your recipe looks so good to pass by so here I go first time today!!
I made this tonight for my family, it was absolutely delicious and everybody loved it !

Yummmmmy I love lamb
Thank you, keep up the good work.
Sounds Awesome
Hello hun you have some Awesome recipes
Great recipe, food looks good , but you look very attractive the way you prepare this ...!!!
I would say its necessary to sear the rack of lamb first then finishing it in oven
Looks wonderful :D
Thank you!
Does the oven get to bake or broil setting?
Good video but I have some suggestions:
1-don't discard lamb fat. Drizzle on roast potatoes, rice, veggies or even toast.
2-recipe times / oven temperatures are variable and are just guidelines. Internal temperature is the true test. For lamb, you need 145F.
145 would taste horrible and gamey, i aim for 115-125
Great recipe, but I would marinate the lamb overnight in that delicious marinade before cooking. Just my opinion. Cheers!
Do i put the oven on bake or broil?
I've had good lamb and some have a funky taste. What gives lamb the funky taste and how do you get rid of it? Is it something they eat? But seems some lamb does need seasoning.

Nice one

How long of you want it well done?
I subscribed so I can see your tzatziki recipe
Beautiful meat
Trying this tonight…
Enjoy!
I've heard a lot of Olive oil is really not 100% Olive oil. How can we be sure the EVOO from TheMedDish is 100%??
i made this & it's excellent.
and i don't like lamb 😂
(marinated in milk overnight before this recipe)
Great !
What kind of pan is that
Oh mama .. forget the lamb ! wink
You cooked the lamb to perfection but Mediterranean lamb is not complete without lemon.
Can a virgin oil be used in high temperatures?
Yes but I wouldn’t fry it above 400 F degrees
your video is all over the place. how did you achieve that?
If i prefer medium done, how long should I bake? Looks so easy.... thank you so much!
That would ruin it.
@@bradleyjordan5365 it's personal taste. Indians won't eat anything unless it's well done
Looks like a great rack to me...
Hi, in the video, you say 1/2 cup olive oil n let it marinade for a few minutes!? But the recipe says 1/4 cup olive oil n marinade 20-30min. An hour if you got time. What's up with that?
Use 1/2 cup, 1/4 was not enough for me, too dry.
Average total amt of time it took to cook please?
25 minutes!
450 degrees? 😮 I’m guessing you meant Fahrenheit and not Celsius. Because in the Mediterranean we use Celsius
Oven at 450° 😮? Damn my max is 250 😢
How the hell do you get that much sauce from that little ingredients? And also it's not a few minutes at all
you forgot olive oil first so that season can stick. sit down, 1.
I had my oven at 450 as well, but the meat was definitely not cooked. Even after resting, it was ver rare. I had to broil for a few mns, why? I am not a novice, but do not understand
Our ovens may just differ a little in heat !
Trader Joe’s has a great R of L
Looked good but I Cooked this for 40 minutes and it was still raw inside. Not sure how this cooks in 20 minutes roast setting at 450 on this episode.
Hi Hannah. This is meant to be served medium rare but if you’re looking for a well done version, you will definitely want to cook it for longer to an internal temperature of 160
You did well until you tried to sell your other goodies
Wtf does “top rack” even mean? Oven is how hot? I assume broil? Pre heat? That’s the more important part!!!
You like to Argue she said 450° at the 2:54 mark. Listen
