Amazing choices with Destroyer 666, Portal, and Aquilus. I've heard great things about Elysian Blaze and Midnight Odyssey, so I want to check them out.
Ave Satanic, First, try Mardraum, Rattenkönig ( their Rodentia's Wrath is excellent. One of my best album of all time ) or even Imperior ( Shit, i totally missed their demo ). They are all from Australia, for sure/ Now, about Haunter Of The Deep. At the first listenning, i immediately thought it was much better than On Astral Wings... or even the last Bekëth Nexëhmü. And i fell in love with the last track The Forgotten Cry In Kingdom Below. But, i was a little bit disappointed. I didn't feel this melancholy, this atmosphere that i loved. Now, after four listennings, i finally really love it. It's different, but DTL is still here, and i 'll buy this trve masterpiece as soon as i see it in Europe// And this cover art..yeah this is the DTL i love. What about you ? What do you think of it ? Let me know if you're not busy// Regards//
@@snagafera1021 Ave Thanks for the recommendations I’m definitely going to check these bands out. I’ve listened to lycanthropy’s spell a lot and it really grew on me. Now it’s one of my favourite bands. Truly an amazing band with some great melodies and atmosphere. Thanks for introducing me to it. As for Haunter of the Deep, I completely agree with you. I loved the album a lot. Every track had something great to offer and it has the great melodies and melancholic atmosphere I come to expect from DtL. I think it’s the best full lengths since oceans of eternity. The eps were great as well though I think Haunter of the Deep is the best release out of the 3 we got recently. Btw sorry for not replying my notifications didn’t work properly. Also, have you listened to Order of nosferat? I really liked their debut Necuratul. Regards
@@satanic7779 Hailz to you, With pleasure. ' hope you'll like these bands, as well. I've just listened to Haunter Of The Deep, once again, and i'll definitely buy it. A pure gem. Now, i'm listening to Dryad ( USA ) - The Abyssal Plain. Damn, really good surprise. About Order Of Nosferat, i just know the name but i haven't listened to them yet. That's my next step, for sure. Ps : OK, it took me ages to write this comment, and Necuratul's playing at this moment. Great surprise too, i like it and i'll probably buy it too, no doubts about that.. Thanks for reminding me of this band
@@snagafera1021 hails I’ve listened to both Mardraum and Rattenkoning a lot in the last couple of days. And I have to say, both are absolutely phenomenal. Specially Mardraum’s Southern Darkness (that album was something). Rattenkönig’s Rodentia's Wrath was incredible as well. Amazing sound and riffs (almost as good as the Mütiilation album). As for order of nosferat, I’m glad you like it. You can also listen to the 3 other full lengths in their discography if you like it. Those are really really good as well but in my opinion, the debut executed this formula in a way that they never managed to replicate. Also, if you like order of nosferat, you can also check out Revenant’s other projects. They are a bit less atmosphere and less keyboard driven but they have a similar style of riffing. Slagmark is probably my second favourite band he was in right next to order of nosferat. Radical Malice is by far their best release in my opinion. Also, Dryad is a great band. The abyssal plain is a very good album indeed.
Astriaal. That Renascent Misanthropy album I was listening to a lot when it came out. The band still exists, so, maybe at some point they'll release some new music... hopefully. Also, the infamous Horde I think are from Australia, right?
I love almost all the albums here (hadn’t heard anything past Elysian Blaze). Two of my favorites you didn’t mention are Astriaal and Darklord. Renascent Misanthropy and Symphony Satanikka are so fucking awesome.
I need to explore more black metal bands from Australia but my favorite from Australia, and of my favorite black metal bands of all time, is Mesarthim. I love the mixture of atmospheric black metal and trance that creates a killer cosmic sound that is symphonic at times. I've heard of but haven't listened to most of the bands on this list so I will have to change that.
Another popular one is Drowning the Light. Although I'm not as into him as others. There's only a couple of albums of his that I like. I think From the Abyss is probably his best. I actually think you would like that album. He's pretty prolific though and has a huge discography.
Thanks for introducing amazing albums again. Btw, can you make another video on "My top 50 metal songs"? I'd really like to know how it has changed over time!! :)
Finally Midnight Odyssey is mentioned, my favorite black metal project EVER, Funerals From the Astral Sphere is my favorite Black Metal album hands down
“Unchain the wolves” by destroyer 666 is one the best albums of all time. The singer for destroyer 666 appeared on the last song on the EP “ancient death” by pentacle. Which is a great EP. Walking upon damnations land is the name of the song
-What did music mean to you? -I dont know, it is full of emotion, but its not happy. -No, its not happy. What an intro to an epic song, how can anyone not just love Aquilus.
Drowning the light, Varw, Moon, Abyysmal Sorrow, are also great. Just found Atra vertosis, and Astral winter, as well as Hammerstorm, all from the same group of individuals it seams, and all sound different from one project to another. Tired of Midnight Odyssey, Aquilius, but will never tire of Elysian blaze: Blood geometry, totally agree it's a masterwork. Moonlabyrinth is more international, US and Au, but good, just like Strigoii, and Varcolaci, both great releases, Thrall is alright, Striiborg is just Striiborg, and was recently introduced to Midnnight betrothed, Didn't like it much. Nazxul great stuff.Ardere have a really nice demo.
Man, you HAVE to check out Woods Of Desolation, listen to the albums Torn Beyond Reason and As The Stars. Trust me when I say that you will not regret it.
@@bdawg3942 At least we agree on the jab part ,but if you somehow believe christians cant write black metal when satanism itself for all intents is just a christian denomination is laughable to me .
Err...you just said they're black/thrash, so they're a black metal band. Which they are. It wasn't a "pure" straight forward BM list, otherwise many of these bands wouldn't be picked. That's how BM is these days, atmospheric, doom influence, thrash, prog..who cares, long as there's black influence and they're good they can make a BM list. This is just dumb gatekeeping.
Nice picks. I also love Woods of Desolation
You put me in the mood to listen to Midnight Odyssey, but I have to mention Nazxul: Totem. Pure chaos.
Great picks! A couple of my personal faves are Woods of Desolation and Austere, but love all these too!

NAZXUL
I can't wait for the American and Japanese and Chinese and Egyptian episodes
Egyptian episode? I find it quite difficult to create.
