agree that he does creat "musical "compositions ( in the conventionally acceptable standard) but bleh bloop is "music" too....depends on your interpretation.
...phew... well this is probably my personal favorite rack i have ever seen in all my days on youtube learning synthesis. it is by no means a rack you would just end up with by spendingg days on muffs and modular grid intellectualizing. this took years of exploring the depths of synthesis. there is often advice given out to most beginners along the lines of "well what kind of sounds do you want to make??" which is good advice but i think sometimes it takes a very long time to even answer that question. and sometimes to answer it, you just gotta dive in. and after many days in the pits of the sonic mines, a rack like this evolves. so for anyone on the fence, just start doing it. 🔥🐐❤️💖🤠🤙💖❤️🐐🔥
I have basically done this so far, only a few months in and aside from everything being sold out, I'm loving taking my time and exploring what I have before moving into something new and flashy and cool. I think it's easy to see modular as simple and easy but I think it's like aby other instrument that you have to learn, practice, and develop your own style with.
Still learning to play around with the mod matrix on my Arturia Microfreak before I dare try starting a euro rack case, just using guitar pedals as effects for now, still a lot of fun
One of the coolest things about modular I've noticed is that everyone seems to have their own unique setup. I've never seen two exactly the same, even with some core modules in common. Lots of wildcards in this box.
Would love to hear some more examples of the binary sub system. Very interesting stuff but there not a lot of content on them. Love your videos, always something interesting on your channel
Yes yes the polygogo can give so much Variation in Sounds And please also use the sync input with another 0szillator - lately I like to Cross mangle with the Odessa ob My god ...
I 💗 the Polygogo module! It was a little pricey for a single voice but it does a lot and allows so much control over sound design. Plus I enjoy staring at the display! 🙃
This is such a positiv vibe! I love how you make it sound interesting, new, mysterious and yet like you! The Leibnitz Systems sounds and looks very promissing to explore☺️
So very different and still very effective, super happy to see the Leibniz Binary Subsystem out there! It's really cool and I've gotta put out more stuff with it
I enjoy all of your content, but there’s just something especially nice whenever you enlighten all of us about modular synths and patching techniques. Also, I have to say that your current configuration of modules in this system just makes sense. It is indeed a very balanced modular synth, and complementary to your sound. I eagerly look forward to all you’ll create with it! :)
Awesome video! That first patch was actually my favourite - I've gone back and listened to it dozens of times! I'd love to hear a full track based on it :)
the drezno is a very interesting concept; for all the discourse about analog purity; it might be the first "effect" I hear of that presents you with digital processing in its most pure and basic form; not trying to reproduce or emulate anything analog. much more so than bit crushing.
I just started out with the Xaoc Leibnitz Subsystem and are very excited too.

I need that Doboz TSNM in my life, I too sold my Pressure Points, but the TSNM is a much better design, just as many(more?) plates but taking up much less HP, Brilliant!
Really looking forward to seeing more from you with the Leibniz subsystem. It's one of the last things in eurorack that I'm really really curious about but don't have the room in either of my systems to try!
If you could make a video focussing on the Xaoc Leibniz module series, it would be tremendously helpful to me and maybe many others. There really is a lack on information on these and I find them to be really intriguing.
Hi Hainbach! It's good to be back! Are you planning on any new eurorack videos? I'd be excited to see if your system has changed, or if you've been exploring new musical ideas with it. The section starting at 1:55 is one of my favorite things I've ever heard come out of a modular
That's a neat setup and you're really making it work well. I understand now why people love the RES-4, and you're getting much more musical results from the Panharmonium than I did when I tried it briefly.
I am loving the Leibniz System from Xaoc Devices. I would love to see you really dig into Jena, especially exploring the the Walsh synthesis stuff. As always, your work is brilliant.
Always get a much larger case than what you think is needed. I ended up quickly needed a Doepfer 12u monster case and monster base for my modules and future growth. Not cheap but great cases.
That is such a cool sounding system. I'm ready finally to put my systems together (had some busted pipes to deal with first due to the winter blast we had last week).
Got in on the 4th batch of the Clank Chaos module a few weeks back. Can't wait for that to arrive for sure. Starting to get my head wrapped around the ADDAC Relabi for interesting "chaotic" possibilities.
I'm pretty sure you can make any set of modules create your "voice" or style. There's a level of synthesis and pattern / time creation at a wonderful level of ability. I tend to think about how I can turn any instrument into a rhythmic beat. Loved these patches. You really made Maths shine in these patches. I have no idea what the Drezno does or how I would use it. The Panharmonium is interesting, but I cant tell if I would just end making a synth sound from any sample I run through it, which seems, I dont know, excessive? I would love to see more about it. And, I would love to see more videos on using spoken word in music. Be it sliced up or mangled and synthesized. Thanks!
Excellent video. I would absolutely love (if you're able, of course) to see a video on the Xaoc Lebniz system modules that you have. I'm extremely interested in it but haven't been able to figure out exactly what it is capable of. Either way, keep up the great work Hainbach!
Wonderful! This is very inspiring. I've been in a sort of funk with my eurorack system and i've been planning on re-thinking and re-building it, and your video definitely gave me some ideas. I know what you mean about Pressure Points, i sold mine a couple of years ago and definitely regret it, i know i'll be buying another one soon ;)
Some pretty interesting patches! Looking forward to the Panharmonium and Polygogo videos. I'd be curious to learn about that Xaoc setup too, seems like a lot going on there.
I especially find that Chaos module fascinating, but I'm not sure yet to which degree you can keep control over chaos ;) nice digital case, very intriguing...
Man I’ve been wanting a Panharmonium since they first came out. Few people have them so there isn’t much feedback on it, it’s huge and I’d have to build a new case, and it looks fairly limited in scope of what it can do. Would you consider doing a deep dive on this module? Personally I’m curious how I might be able to make use of it doing vaporwave, so maybe running some existing music through it slowed and pitched down with reverb, or an FM synth with 808/909 drums or something comparably 80s. Some other real-world Hainbach-y use cases would be fantastic especially if you can push any Ciat-Lonbarde stuff through it to fluff them up, but I get that this rig is kind of meant to be used by itself which is great too. Thanks for the video. I always appreciate your content, though my wallet may not appreciate it as much.
Would be really cool if you could output that video screen on the Polygogo to like a large screen and add more colors to it. It's cool to see what it does in relationship to the sound.
Wohoo early annoucement of my next instrument and album: sarecordings.com/release/220828-hainbach-landfill-totems
Hi! Very productive year! Are the tracks of this vinyl the same as this live performance? ua-cam.com/video/RsSlXiUOIBU/v-deo.html
@@turiyasky8603 no, all new composed tracks.
Sag mal bist du deutscher, oder kommst du aus Deutschland?
I'm here for the sweater, the modular is a bonus
Easily one of the coolest sweaters I’ve seen in my 45 years!
Where can I get it?
everybodys waiting for a hainbach signature model sweater
Perhaps a sweater with some knobs and cables hanging from it? Matt Halpern for example is great because of his v-necks. That all is fashion 3.0 😂
I’m here for the ladies. Oh.
Your modular music is so good, it's never just bleeps and bloops. It is actual good and honest music.
Wow, thank you! Now I hope you enjoy the music here, too.
Second patch sounds interesting and amazing, love the bassline
agree that he does creat "musical "compositions ( in the conventionally acceptable standard) but bleh bloop is "music" too....depends on your interpretation.
rhythmic bleeps and bloops over bleeps and bloops any day
This would also sound like bleeps without the reverb, but I don't have an issue with bleeps and bloops.
...phew... well this is probably my personal favorite rack i have ever seen in all my days on youtube learning synthesis.

Hears, "Hi. I'm Hainbach." in that gentle low voice of his
...and suddenly everything's right with the world.
I vote for singing or spoken word accompaniment!
@@jammystraub488 ohhhhh spoken words yes indeed.
Instantly taken to “The Andromeda Strain”, were the alien virus is expanding in size under a microscope, in the biohazard bunker. Lovely noodling.
One of the coolest things about modular I've noticed is that everyone seems to have their own unique setup. I've never seen two exactly the same, even with some core modules in common. Lots of wildcards in this box.
I get a warm fuzzy feeling every time I see a Rossum module in a rig. Linnaeus is my go to filter.
That polygogo display is so cool! I just stared at it and got lost in the synesthesia lol.
Haircut looks good too!
E - RM and Panharmonium, two most unique modules 'till this day! Liked the video in 2024 🎈🎈
The drezno is such an interesting module. I’d love to see it featured in the signal path of a tape loop
Would love to hear some more examples of the binary sub system. Very interesting stuff but there not a lot of content on them. Love your videos, always something interesting on your channel
I was planning to get that polygogo thing sometime, definitely getting it now

I’d love to see more videos featuring the Drezno/Leibnitz subsystem please!!
Hainbach to 100k!!!
To the moon!
I 💗 the Polygogo module! It was a little pricey for a single voice but it does a lot and allows so much control over sound design. Plus I enjoy staring at the display! 🙃
It looks like it could've auditioned to play Sauron's eye in the LOTR movies.
This is such a positiv vibe! I love how you make it sound interesting, new, mysterious and yet like you! The Leibnitz Systems sounds and looks very promissing to explore☺️
And.. this is genuinely the first channel where I see someone making beautiful musical sounds with modular as opposed to just noise
Kaitlyn Aurelia smith, Suzanne ciani, Alessandro cortini, Colin benders, the list goes on and on.
I would absolutely LOVE a detailed video about the Leipzig subsystem.
Yes! Not much out there on these.
Hi I'm Haveback, it's good to hain you bach
So very different and still very effective, super happy to see the Leibniz Binary Subsystem out there! It's really cool and I've gotta put out more stuff with it
Me, too. This made me decide to get a Jena to “complete” my Leibniz set.
Dude ... that patch at 13th minute, that’s pure bliss

Also, I have to say that your current configuration of modules in this system just makes sense. It is indeed a very balanced modular synth, and complementary to your sound. Thank you! After this I want to do more modular again - the comments have been so informed and nice, it is so motivating.
Awesome video! That first patch was actually my favourite - I've gone back and listened to it dozens of times! I'd love to hear a full track based on it :)

this type of content is too crazy. Super inspiring sounds. Absolutely love it
Best modular sounds, that I have heard so far! And I don’t understand those patches at all. Simply destroying my head… Beautiful 🤩
Excited to see the Xaoc stuff, I've been looking all over for information on that system for the past few days so this is timed perfectly!
These patches have so much depth...very inspring
I just started out with the Xaoc Leibnitz Subsystem and are very excited too.
I need that Doboz TSNM in my life, I too sold my Pressure Points, but the TSNM is a much better design, just as many(more?) plates but taking up much less HP, Brilliant!
I just got on the waiting list for the Clank module. I would love to see an in depth video on that.
All these patches sound wonderful BTW.
I’ve already watched this like 10 times. It’s inspiring.
Episode subtitle: “Hainbach sells a bunch of Polygogos” 😂
Really looking forward to seeing more from you with the Leibniz subsystem. It's one of the last things in eurorack that I'm really really curious about but don't have the room in either of my systems to try!
I have 0 idea what that Binary Subsystem is doing but i am extremely interested
You and everyone else! The impenetrable modules
Gorgeous patches. Really looking forward to seeing how this project develops 😊
Finally something new;
The H note.
As usual inspiring video.
Thanks! H is old, been around since 1571 here, never caught on in the Anglo-Saxon world though. :)
If you could make a video focussing on the Xaoc Leibniz module series, it would be tremendously helpful to me and maybe many others. There really is a lack on information on these and I find them to be really intriguing.

My vision of eternal heaven = Hainbach's studio! Nice sweater, as usual. Love ya, man!
Damn, Hainbach this sounds awesome! I wish I understood how to put one of these together and how they work!
Nice that you are still doing Eurorack!
That's a neat setup and you're really making it work well. I understand now why people love the RES-4, and you're getting much more musical results from the Panharmonium than I did when I tried it briefly.

Yeah the Walsh- that has me really curious.
Likewise!
Would love a proper video on the xaoc Leibniz Binary Subsystem! These seem so interesting but not a lot out there on them
love the last patch, rhythmic and haunting.
I love the RES-4 so much. It's truly a magic beans piece of kit. I recently self patched it and got my mind blownnnnn.
awesome patches and good to see the Leibniz in action! Please do a video about it :)
I really appreciate the content you are creating man. thank you.
Great patches, super inspiring! Also very glad you have a video planned on the Panharmonium, such an overlooked module imo.
Always get a much larger case than what you think is needed. I ended up quickly needed a Doepfer 12u monster case and monster base for my modules and future growth. Not cheap but great cases.
I’m here for that he’s glad to see me back.
I would definitely love to hear you more on the Panharmonium. I think you're the man for this job! Keep up the great work!
Last patch is a banger. Nice work.
those patches are sounding great Hainbach!! good work

I love how you managed to get the note "H" out of that pressure points style machine!
H is actually the note B in Germany and some other countries.
@@Bananskuden Wow, I never knew that. Quite interesting to know and suprised I'd heard of this before
finally we see your transformer computer ... digital with analog filtring is fantastic
Sounds like the intro to Funky Watermelon Man from the Headhunters near the end. Very cool!
Lovely, inspiring. +1 on polygogo, liebniz and pan harmonium reviews.
"Half of these modules I don't even know really...." -- spoken like a true wiggler!
Omg you inspired me, your pathes and modules combinations are amazing!
Did you notice how happy he sounds when he’s talking about the system?✨
I will always remember this as three happy days.
I am really interested in how this setup of yours sounds, so please make some follow-up videos! Thank you for sharing!
Watching with cc on. “Hi, I’m Heinberg”. ‘Course you are son, ‘course you are.
Really great work making Panharmonium musical.
Nice rack, surprisingly versatile. I would be tempted to swap out contour for Pamela's new workout, but that would compromise immediacy of course.
looking forward to the panharmonium video! i think that module is for another year down the line when i can treat myself.
Very creative and beautiful results from your setup. It would be interesting if you ever had the time to do a video with VCV rack .
Really impressive patches. Sounds amazing. Well done and thanks for the inspiration.
Hain, I would love to hear you run The Fieldkits through the pan!
Nice rig! Someday, I will figure out how to post videos of my electronic gear rig and sounds- as always, Thank you for sharing!

Some pretty interesting patches!
Looking forward to the Panharmonium and Polygogo videos. I'd be curious to learn about that Xaoc setup too, seems like a lot going on there.
hola, soy jorge, es bueno verte de nuevo!!!!
Would love to see you pull out some of your first modules and give them some life again...I’m sure you’ve don’t it before. Awesome vid my man
Pretty good system well thought out and very playable too
A lot of my favorite, go to Eurorack modals are digital!
Thank you. I always enjoy what you do. Just wish I understood even half of what was going on.
RES-4 - most expensive steel drum. Ever..... that Polygogo tho!
This is an awesome setup. Sounds great too. I want to get into modular synths but I don’t know where to begin!
