Time for another challenge, with the temperatures plummeting below zero over night, it wasn't going to be an easy one! So we are going silver fish only to count with a point for the biggest weight, a point for the biggest fish and a point for the most species. Who will come out on top?

Get them both coaching at the same venue, then their pupil has to fish for the point as opposed to Andy or Jamie. Usual ginger fish rules, etc. apply.

Fifty six years ago I fished a canal match. Deepest winter, freezing cold, gin clear canal. I was eight. You could see the bikes and paint tins lying on the bottom.
As my Dad and I walked down the canal we saw what looked like a carpet wafting on the far side. A huge, waving carpet slowly shimmering under the water. It was the biggest shoal of gudgeon in the world. Probably hundreds of thousands of them. All facing the far bank, aligned, heads tucked in to each other, just sitting there. Like hibernating and staying safe all at the same time. They didn't move and they didn’t feed. That’s what was going on in Jaimies peg. All foul hooked. Makes sense to me.
Yes we need the upside down goggles as a challenge.

I want to see them with a short pole, ready made rig, or a cheap whip ready made rig 1/2 pint maggots and same of "licky" on a canal. A real test of skill and i am sure the lads would make it fun!

I think, half and hour stints. Long on the bottom, shallow, short pole then finish in the margins. A mini match, biggest weight wins....a twist, each person can only pick 2 baits 😛

Thank god you find it herd as well lol, not sure if you have done something like this before but a Blind challenge, so let’s say Andy wears blacked out goggles and Jamie has to support him in fishing for bites, the aim being every time you assist the blinded angler catch, you score a point, you can even assist in landing the fish for the goggled angler, then swap and repeat. May be better in slightly warmer weather. Good luck 🤞
Half way in between each only have a very twin distance each side your allowed to fish “your peg”
I definitely think you guys should do a electrical shock challenge, so use those muscle shock things I think it would be hilarious especially when trying to cast or bait up.. obviously not when playing a fish. So if you don’t catch the target species the other guy gets to shock them at some point or tally them up or use it alongside another challenge
Next challenge...blind folded with a bell on top section to indicate bite..can ship out and settle float and remove blindfold once fish is hooked

How about a challenge where Andy and Jaime choose the way the person fishes, ie Andy chooses Feeder for Jaime and Jamie chooses Short pole for Andy and once a fish is caught they then choose another way too catch until they have caught a total weight of 20 lb or nearest to it.
Watch them squirm by Use the others tackle challenge
