I got so excited when I discover Sylosis uses E Standard
Mostly, they did use D standard on I Sever which is the only exception that I know of to their E standard songs

Sylosis is the testament that you don't need a 7 or 8 string or low tuning to sound heavy AF!!
Metallica.... 1980... the birth of heavy. No ones saying you need those things to be heavy. They’re just different sounds and different styles. If every played standard E everything would sound generic. Different tunings offer a way for the market not to be flooded with the same old s***.
Tunings aren't heavy.
Riffs are heavy.

This is fantastic! I still remember being in the studio when this was being mixed and the producer played me the break at the end. The intro was actually a Powerball held up to the pickups! It was so impressive! Had a great time touring with them back in the day but now I’m just a massive nerd reminiscing about the good old days on UA-cam

Conclusion of an Age album are my all time greatest searching on internet. I remember how happy is me when finding this gem in 2008. Too many great single on this album. Blackest Skyline is the best one. Please cover this song 🤟
