This got to be the most calm comment section I have ever seen dealing with both Samsung and Apple products. Wish more comment sections were like this. Both are nice phones and come down to personal preference
Coming from the S22U to the S24U and other notes I absolutely love the flat display. Physically feels like you have more screen real estate. No raised side that feels like a slowdown and or protrusion everytime you swipe from the side. They made a great decision going flat.
Does it feel like much of an upgrade besides the screen? The screen is the main reason I decided to upgrade. I reallllllyyy haven't liked the curved display trend.
My funny mom who's 69 had only ever used iPhone is now wanting to get the S24U in March she seriously LOVES the look & feel of it 🤞 she loves it! She's using an iPhone 13 at the moment she's over the size & her apps being EVERYWHERE she likes how Samsung has there's.
I’m team iPhone but I love the S24 ultra for me both are amazing phones their beasts 💪🏻 no matter what route you go you’re gonna have the best of the best
I use to be a Samsung fan! I went basic and stop caring about customizations! I haven’t had a Samsung phone since the Samsung S9. I love being simple with the iPhone 15 Plus bcuz it does everything I need it to do for my basic needs!
I also switched from Galaxy Note 3, 4, 5, 8 and then Galaxy S20 and S21 to iphone 13 PM and now 15 PM. My son got the S24 Ultra and it's been fun comparing photos--very close. The Zoom is better on the S24 Ultra. Battery life is great on both phones. I vastly prefer the security update done the Apple way vs Samsung relying on carriers to possibly release the update.
@@cherryswirlchale9511I've seen some leaked shots from the next Samsung firmware update. The quality is better and the colours more accurate. I don't know if they have fixed any issues with video though. I would be surprised if they didn't. They were always updating the S23 Ultra to take better photos. I always buy SIM free and my S23 Ultra got updated nearly every month, the S24 series should be the same.
Hi Nick I agree with you on the display vividness. I have the S24+ and I like the color saturation as is. Took a couple days to get used to it coming from a S21+ but now I like it. Question: Do you keep adaptive color tone on or off?
11:30 I‘m glad you mention this, I always feel like I‘m the only one. I think the iOS calculator is too simple with it’s missing history. I’m mainly using iOS and that’s why I‘m using a third party calculator app.
Which intro haha? I changed it up a few times, but lately I want to get straight into the content! The S24 wouldn’t be a bad upgrade, throw in the buds, watch, and upcoming galaxy ring, not too hard to get adjusted too! Thanks for all your support over the years!

I went s24 ultra to s24+ due to the green tinge from gorilla glass armor when viewing the screen from anything but a perfect angle. I wish samsung's $999 phone would have the best cameras like the ultra, but besides that it's been extremely positive. I didn't need the extra weight, the s pen, or the hard edges of the ultra hurting my hands.
I think AI as a differentiator is a hard sell in terms of a compelling reason to upgrade. The reality is you can load advanced AI even on an 3+ year old iPhone
Ya but s24u offers the flat screen and anti reflective glass as well. Faster and more efficient overall. The AI is more incorporated into the phone. Like Google lense....I don't need to save and go into the app I can just do it from my home button at any point. S24u offers fast charging, back button etc. To me it just offers more and makes navigating through the phone much easier and user friendly. I just can't stand iphones operating system.
If you are a simple person who wants a simple way to use your phone then go for apple. If you are a power user, loves to do a lot of things over there phon then go for android/samsung. Easy! Apple will make a phone and samsung easily copy it, from stainless steel frame to titanium. I have both phones and really there was not much of a difference because they were both smart phones with different brands/name. Pick one, buy it and enjoy! Make life easy!
Hello Nick any opinion about the new feature of s24 series which is Adaptive Color Tone is it the same with truetone on iPhone that only gives warm color at least for me just like Eyecomfort shield on samsung(so what’s the point of ACT?). Because Samsung has lots of features on the display Eyecomfort shield, Vision booster and new Adaptive Color tone… PS I used my phone in Natural mode.
Great content. As usual, s24 ultra has a lot more features than the iPhone 15pro max. Like you said, split screen, Dex, reverse wireless charging Iphone does have wired reverse power share. There is one thing everyone seems to forget to mention. Live home screen wallpaper. I can have rain running down my screen. I can't forget I can have nothing but my wallpaper, no widgets on my home screen, or take 12 or widgets and put them into a small widget cube. So I have my most used widgets on the home screen but in a tinny square, so it's 99.9% live wallpaper. And you can move your widget anywhere on the home screen, the 15pro max do that🤔 answer no. So as I will always samsung, let's you make your phone yours. We're Apple, let's you make your phone there's
Thank you for this informative comparison, Nick! Galaxy S24 Ultra is an Android monster of productivity, but what I really like about iPhone is ever so slightly more refinement and attention to details. When you comparing them, I noticed that white balance of screen with the environment is appears to be more accurate on iPhone. Yes iOS lacks split screen mode and it's a shame. Most apps seem to be better optimised for 15 Pro Max screen size and using it's space more neatly. Android apps is more universal in this regard, which sometimes gives an effect of a "phone app on a tablet" feel with a bigger screen, if you get what I mean. Doubling apps for one task with galaxy seem cluttered, but Samsung apps getting better, you give the Calculator as an example. Where Galaxy's bigger screen (and without the Dynamic Island obstruction) shines is watching FS content and gaming. Galaxy has nice pro photo modes out of the box, it would be nice if you test it more. And also it would be interesting how default photo and video modes would behave after software update. 15 Pro has nice pro video modes out of the box. iPhone has superior photo format with depth of field information, metadata, superior compression which lead to less file sizes. We could continue with other factors considering specifically iOS vs Android (like AI features), but software gets updated and it's moving target. Most of other nuances you mentioned in video, of course. Man, It's a tough one choice indeed this year if you consider this devices openly! The prices and OS openness could be deciding factor in some regions. Where I live iPhones generally costs more and it might be significant depending on fluctuations in USD conversion rate.
I fully agree that this is the best color calibration for a Samsung display. When I saw the s24 with my own eyes, I was finally satisfied. Finally, after all these years, Samsung reduced the oversturated vivid mode and increased the naturalness of the colors. I returned the S21 and S22 only because the display was oversaturated, especially in the red color, which made my eyes hurt in low light. And for those who immediately start shouting that there is a Natural mode, it was, on the contrary, too bland and washed out. In addition, it did not offer white balance like Vivid mode. Samsung didn't give us anything in between. It will be oversaturated or too bland. S24 finally looks normal. Vivid mode is saturated but not as much as s23. S24 is a step in the right direction. And now give us even more setting options with sliders for setting saturation, gamma, shade, etc., similar to how it is with Xiaomi.
Been with them since s2 and all s series since. never needed to switch just to keep up with the newest "trending best tech" phone, but i apple is not a bad phone just about the same, i like apple as much as samsung.

The moment the video quality of Samsung S series catches up to the iPhone, I'm ditching this side piece. Not that iPhone is bad. It's just a little boring compared to the S24 Ultra.

❕ Hi! My iphone has a longer battery life, it lasts longer than the galaxy s24 ultra, at the same time, my three month old 15 pro max battery health is already 98%, the charge cycle is only 47, somehow the battery health of the iphone is dropping too fast?! The sim card is 15 pro max because I still prefer iOS to android! The sim card is 15 pro max because I still prefer iOS to android! And the colors are better, more natural, more lifelike on the iPhone, both on the screen and on the camera, I just can't ignore it. It seems to me that the iphone is more intelligent, somehow grown up, optimized to work in everything. The s24 ultra is beautiful, quite capable, but the camera needs a lot of updates, the colors of the camera are still sometimes wrong, and it lacks continuity, and is too overexposed, but better than the s23 ultra. I also don't like the colors of the s24 ultra screen, the white looks more bluish-grey, and the red has a strong purplish tint, the black also has that bluish-gray tint to it, be it in Vivid mode or Natural mode, while the iphone still has everything colors as colors are, white is white, red is red, black is black, etc. I tried so hard to manage the s24 ultra on a daily basis, because it is a beautiful phone and android has been made better and more capable in recent years, and since I don't play with icons on the screen, and multitasking is suitable for folded phones, the iPhone is more capable for me, although I I like the S-pen, but I don't miss it. And we can't really compare them, which one is better, they just have different operating systems and both are capable and both have their own shortcomings! This description is my knowledge and experience, it doesn't have to be suitable for others! Thank you! 🌼
In my opinion i will go Samsung. If you are editor and you want a edit a video spen is your magic hand. It's very smooth to cut on capcut. Samsung doing great job with s pen
I was thinking between these two phones,i bought the S24 ultra because of the larger display and free extra storage (512GB preorder).I like it,i enjoy every day this display.I work as a photographer and i see that Iphone has better camera but you know,Samsung needs some updates every year to be the top in Flagship phones
ios seems kinda usuless nowdays. Personally: i fell like i waist much more time doing anything that i could do in 5s in android idk if it makes sense but.. anyways. I think its bczs ios dont allow u to have 2cond plan aplications working
Wait if you were team natural why every year did you love the colors and look of samsungs? That doesnt make sense lol it was your favorite look and display.
I think my comments are being show banned but it’s actually pretty bad if the display matters to you. All the s24u are on back order until end of feb /march. You have to wonder if they are trying to buy time.
@@reviewforthetube6485there is actually a display scientist on Reddit who has put a displays under a microscope and Diodes are not uniform that’s a hardware issue software won’t fix it, that’s why I thought it was kinda strange the devices are on back order don’t matter the color or carrier, Do you have the s24u with you ? UA-cam better call saul mike tried to convince gus and watch it on two different devices and look how bad the screen looks on the 24,
I work in cellular and demand for galaxies is nothing like iPhone in the back order of the Pro maxes was just barely a month in some colors on black Friday. We have plenty of lunch day. Stock left over.
I bought iPhone 15 pro max over s24 ultra because of smoothness amazing video quality and speakers the only thing i don’t like the keyboard, worst keyboard ever
I switched to the Iphone 15 PM, coming from a lifetime of Samsung phones, most recently the S22 Ultra. I almost got rid of the Iphone for 2 reasons. No back button, and the keyboard is terrible. But the longer I use it, Iphone just makes sense. And after being able to compare photos, Iphone camera is better. For now holding on to it, but torn about the display and the keyboard. I have 2 more weeks before my 30 days are up. I will give everything this phone can take and sleep on it. Time will tell.
@@Knifestories it’s been almost 2 months i used iPhone 15 pro max one big problem i found it’s light reflection in low light photos and video sometimes it’s too much even i feel regret i really hope Apple fix it other than that the phone works flawless,
Please help! I recently got the Iphone 15 pro max but have yet to returned my s21 ultra. Ive been using samsung since the S10 so about 5-6 years or so. My mom, brother and sister all have Iphone and my dad has samsung. I feel stuck deciding which one i want. I do think that Samsung is objectively a better phone in many ways. Theres so many things Im used to on Samsung. However, i want to be able to facetime and most of all, recieve and send high quality long videos through imessage. I personally like the samsung interface and swiping around better than iphone (iphone feels like im trying to swipe through bubbles and it feels slow/lethargic). I just dont know what to do.
I miss my 14 pro max. But i am waiting for Apple to add faster charging, better build, better battery, better camera, more customization. And some AI features. Lets see
I got both phones in my household. The 15 pro max feels almost like a toy next to the s24U. To me the 15 pro max feels cheap. I do believe the main reason is the slight curves at displays edges along with the weight. Last years 14 pro max feels so much better with the flat display. I am really glad Samsung finally went with completely flat display on the Ultra. In my opinion, easily the best display around on a phone atm. I just wish Android would have some sort of a face ID. It is so much better than fingerprint in my opinion.
It has a "face unlock" but, I find that the iPhones tends to work much better, especially when in a low light situation. But Apple will be making a clone of you with your Face ID, Touch ID, and Iris scan (Vision Pro) so keep that in mind.
Why you wanna play those type of games in a mobile is better to play with an handheld device or console for my is just pointless and unnecessary, cellphone is for productivity and work and some other games just get a play station and play death stranding is just my humble opinion.
So I've always had a iphone but I decided to switch from my 14 pro to a s23+ and I loved it samsung has definitely come along way from when I remember them but I will be going back to iphone and getting the 15 pro max I think the camera and just I message and ft really Made me need it again I was on a trip with friends and I needed the pictures they sent me and they couldn't send it to my number because they would come out blurry I hated that
14:19 apple cant even run asphault 9 for an hour without heating up significantly and ppl claiming it can run console games and yet i haven’t seen one video of it😂, and also in terms of benchmarks they are same at multi core, snap dragon 8 gen 3 destroys a17 pro In graphics tests so😂😂
I hope that whoever sees my comment will help me determine the best phone from these monsters, for heavy use and gaming, especially since I want a phone that helps me in my work (customer service) online, and is smooth in all applications and websites, and uses the Microsoft package perfectly. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

I think 13 pro max was best iphone in recent years and for samsung i think it was the s23 ultra
It's is a really solid device it's my main phone. I just bought a s24u to use as a second device because I got 1k trade for my old Samsung S9, but yes there are things the 13pm still does better and the screens isn't even one of them. The screen still looks nicer at times on the 13pm
You're the best.👍
Dear nick,
Kindly test the rog phone 8 pro speedtest and test the new asus zenfone 11 ultra speedtest when it release.I dont know why the entire youtubers are completely ignoring such beasts
For those who want best gaming, photography + freedom to do every feature
⭕️-Samsung is best for them
For those want the fastest ever gaming + videography
⭕️- iphone is best for them
In my opinion s24ultra is best because gaming is similar except some smoothness, and we can do anything with rich features!
Only for smooth gaming, iwill not choose iphone🤦♂️
SAMSUNG🔥Gaming + Freedom Features
Galaxy wins👑
Samsung still needs a lot of work when it comes to smoothness in the animations and reduction of lag
And iPhone still need a lot of work even catching up
Iphone lag’s equally as much now as samsung all phones lagged its just android had more of them but now with 8 gen 3 and also massive software glow up its the same
@zefanzahedreza5883 exactly sir my iPhone lag so much sometimes i can't even use it. Can't wait to go back to my s23 ultra
@@solarcj9313 fr bro my 15 pro max randomly used to freeze, i sold it for s24 ultra ( I got s23 u as a gift which i sold for 15 pm)
stop lying the iPhone dont lag specially the 15pm, i have the galaxy s23U and the lags sometimes unbearable and the wallpaper resets to default every time i use the camera app @@Lolllllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzz
Let’s just summarise the 10,999 videos out there…Samsung is a bit more fun and has more options….Apple is a bit less fun but will get the job done properly without fail
Nah S24U smoother than 15PM🗿
Answer: its like restaurants, some produce better food than others, some prefer some over other. At the end of the day just pick whatever you want
At this point I wouldn’t even have a Crapple phone for free. Gave up on them a while ago. Same phone year after year.
Both titanium colours 🔥 🔥, 16pro max/ultra and s25 will be the real deal! 15series and s24 are S series 😅incremental updates!
Love the natural look much better. Prefer natural looking pictures to.
Will the ai features be on the 23 ultra?
Yes. Most of them in the 6.1 update.
They are coming soon
Samsung Fold 5 ftw!!!
Thank you! 🌼
battery life of iPhone in my case ( i am a heavy user) has given me 8:30 hrs while s24 u gave 9 hrs 17 mins
Please if you have an older phone you're not using that you want to giveaway I really need a phone for my mobile photography.. I just can't afford any
I always told, Android is better, despite Java programming is less efficient than C++/Swift used in Apple products.
In my opinion i will go Samsung. If you are editor and you want a edit a video spen is your magic hand. It's very smooth to cut on capcut. Samsung doing great job with s pen
Hey, why don't you make speed test of iphone 15 pro max vs IQOO 12
Because we are American and don't care about Ipoo...
It’s really funny seeing how offended Samsung people get when someone mentions iPhones lol
if u want to buy a phone which u want to customise then go for s24u
if u want customise yourself according to the phone then go for iphone 15pm
Please tell which one has better battery life
That was literally the first thing we discussed
You fast forwarded too far 😂. Its like in the beginning of the video.
Nokia 2013
I was thinking between these two phones,i bought the S24 ultra because of the larger display and free extra storage (512GB preorder).I like it,i enjoy every day this display.I work as a photographer and i see that Iphone has better camera but you know,Samsung needs some updates every year to be the top in Flagship phones
Samsung just announced that they are releasing a big camera update. Since it's brand new, they still needed to fine-tune the camera.
I am skipping the S24u because of PWM. Would you say it is better than S23 base? S23u was horrendous imo. My phone is always in dark mode
The PWM is greatly improved on S24U like way better. This is the best Ultra ever for eye comfort
Super ❤❤🎉
ios seems kinda usuless nowdays.
@@thetechlibrarian oh I know dude its bad for sure.
Yes, just noticed when you mentioned it. He said the s23s display was better than the 15 pm because it was more vivid😂.
Samsung all the way ❤❤❤❤
S24 Ultra 😍😍
Nice, greentings.
I bought iPhone 15 pro max over s24 ultra because of smoothness amazing video quality and speakers the only thing i don’t like the keyboard, worst keyboard ever
I agree abt speaker and video part ngl
I switched to the Iphone 15 PM, coming from a lifetime of Samsung phones, most recently the S22 Ultra. I almost got rid of the Iphone for 2 reasons. No back button, and the keyboard is terrible. But the longer I use it, Iphone just makes sense. And after being able to compare photos, Iphone camera is better. For now holding on to it, but torn about the display and the keyboard. I have 2 more weeks before my 30 days are up. I will give everything this phone can take and sleep on it. Time will tell.
@@Knifestories it’s been almost 2 months i used iPhone 15 pro max one big problem i found it’s light reflection in low light photos and video sometimes it’s too much even i feel regret i really hope Apple fix it other than that the phone works flawless,
I was gettin better battery life with the iphone then S24u but ios is horrid.
The S24 ultra does have face unlock features
I think S24U feels cheap next to Iphone 15 Pro Max
@@bobstone5833?... 😂😂😂
@@bobstone5833clone? 😂😂😂😂😂 wtf
If Samsung steps it up with a 3000 CPU next year I’ll change from iphone to the Samsung
The S24 Ultra is cool and all but can it play Death Stranding though??
Why you wanna play those type of games in a mobile is better to play with an handheld device or console for my is just pointless and unnecessary, cellphone is for productivity and work and some other games just get a play station and play death stranding is just my humble opinion.
S24 ultra 10 times better than iphone 15PM
Bro wtf I don’t want a bigger iPhone ur crazy
I was gonna get the Samsung s23 but it doesn’t support cash app , so I’m going to get the iPhone 15 pro max
So I've always had a iphone but I decided to switch from my 14 pro to a s23+ and I loved it samsung has definitely come along way from when I remember them but I will be going back to iphone and getting the 15 pro max I think the camera and just I message and ft really Made me need it again I was on a trip with friends and I needed the pictures they sent me and they couldn't send it to my number because they would come out blurry I hated that
Just realized on my 23ultra you can turn your phone off by just asking bixby to turn off phone. To bad you cant turn it back on by asking.
14:19 apple cant even run asphault 9 for an hour without heating up significantly and ppl claiming it can run console games and yet i haven’t seen one video of it😂, and also in terms of benchmarks they are same at multi core, snap dragon 8 gen 3 destroys a17 pro In graphics tests so😂😂
iPhone stands on business
Give me an android, apple is 🤢
I was going to buy the iPhone but bought btc 😂
I hope that whoever sees my comment will help me determine the best phone from these monsters, for heavy use and gaming, especially since I want a phone that helps me in my work (customer service) online, and is smooth in all applications and websites, and uses the Microsoft package perfectly. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
S24 ultra
No thank you duplicate apps on Samsung
What bother’s me is that the galaxy cpu it’s not there compared to iPhone it’s still almost as the 12 pro max’s
iPhone best phone 💪
Prefer IOS.
iPhone 15 Pro Max best.
iphone is far better than this lagge phone
and you will never afford samsung flagship and latest iphone because you’re just using iphone 4s that’s the only device you can afford.
Laggy? Lol snapdragon 8 gen 3 , 12GB of ram this is not laggy.
Lagge? You obviously haven’t used the Phone. Both are great devices.
😂😂😂😂
i used this phone last week. its very laggy @@nickackermanchannel
