I'm so glad Warren Spector is overseeing this. I'm holding out hope we see a full version of Power of Two and maybe the long awaited third game in the trilogy.
Ended up pulling my Wii out and started playing this classic again. What a blast from the past.
I know this gets said wayy too much about remasters and remakes but it looks exactly how I remembered it looking when I was 9 years old all those years back. I about cried no joke haha
I tried playing the game again on wii a year ago and the low resolution and texture quality was jarring
I swear I remember the original like it was in 4k

There was already a 3rd game- it was called "Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion", and it was on the 3DS!
@@BigAlvideos101 i know but that one is not part of the Main Trilogy story ... i mean the second game ended with a cliffhanger unresolved as of now
I played the demo all the way through and this is easily one of the best remakes I’ve seen it improves so many things that were problems with the original game but also implements enough changes that don’t squash the original idea but improves it in just the right ways that make it a very worthwhile experience
Does it give you the ability to save in multiple slots? Or to backtrack to a previous area if i missed a quest objective unintentionally?
We don't know yet, the demo is only the first 30 or so minutes fo the game

Glad we can experience this game with a new fresh coat of paint and on newer platforms, I feel like this game will hold up much better now with the remake at hand

All I really want in this is the ability to backtrack, or even just save in a separate slot and reload.
I understand the idea of autosaving your moral choices, but as a kid I failed so many quests because I simply progressed to the next area, the game autosaved, and the quest objective was in the previous area. It wasn't a moral decision to ignore the quests. I just assumed the objective was in the next zone of the level. I had no way of knowing that the next area was the boss of the level and that I had no way of backtracking. I genuinely never finished the game because this upset me so much lol

Probably new areas within already established ones. Basically adding new stuff to the original areas. It’d be cool to have new areas or bring back scrapped ones like Wonderland and the Beanstalk Factory, but I highly doubt they’d do that.
Hope this leads to an epic mickey 2 :rebrushed and finally the long awaited epic mickey 3

As long as it retains the replay ability from the original so you can do multiple runs and get everything on one save ill be happy. All those years ago i almost 100% the game and managed to hard lock it just before the end i want justice.
This I hope this becomes a success, and they can bring back this series. and use as well for once in things

I hope they add a harder difficultly to make the monsters more challenging. It was fine as a kid, but as adult, I would like more of a challenge.

I have and played Epic Mickey 2 on Xbox 360 when I was a kid and sadly never get a chance to play Epic Mickey 1, but gladly now I have a chance when a Rebrushed Remaster is coming for Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS5/PS4 and Nintendo Switch it would be a fun meme to play this on PC with mouse, but I will play Epic Mickey Rebrushed on Nintendo Switch! This game have EVERYTHING that I needed a 2D/3D platforming, it have Mickey and Oswald's backstory, it looks that good I can say this is a remaster abd it's coming in september 24 4 days before my birthday thank you so much Disney and THQ Nordics for making this AMAZING game: It's Mickey Mouse in the house ha ha!

God! I have to buy and play this game! But Sega currently has a monopoly on my funds with Sonic X Shadow Generations. I gotta preorder 4 copies, to have everything on both switch and PS5 (both digital deluxe and physical versions, for both consoles). I can't even consider my steam account at this point. But Epic Mickey and Astro Bot are next on my list! Oh wait, I also gotta buy the PS5 version of Darksiders 2!

tbh, in terms of artstyle this looks far better than Astro Bot which looks sooo generic artistically
