- Robert Plant was one of the surprise guests at Preservation Hall's Midnight Preserves following the first day of New Orleans Jazz Fest. 4/28/23
Plant looks like he’s having a blast, I’m glad he still enjoys preforming & having a great time.
Love love this man… saw him in June and sure wish I would have been at this more intimate setting… no one like him ❤
It's a big call, but even after all these years this might be my favourite version he's done in his solo career; absolutely love that Mr Plant never rests on his laurels, and always throws back to his original influences!
It's so refreshing to see Robert poking fun and having fun. I remember the later Page/Plant shows when Robert was clearly "done with doing this." Who the hell can scream into a mic for 50 years anyway? Compare this with other aging "artists" that now mime to backing tracks. Big names. Huge shows. All mimed. This is fun and real.
always changing styles and moving forward... The Golden God.
awright thats so cool plant having fun
Just so tight. Great feel by the band and Plant just slides right in. Well done!!!

Brilliant. What fun they are all having. Joyous 😊💕
I love Led Zeppelin, I love New Orleans. I'd have been in 7th heaven.
The sheer joy in that room is wonderful! I'm so jealous I couldn't have witnessed it first hand.
Some legends are carved in stone

I was going to that jazz festival but got sick, ended up in my hotel room for the whole weekend. As I am Australian and travelled to New Orleans for the first time fulfilling a dream of mine I was not a happy camper. Oh well 😂😊
Commiserations xx
Good on you, Mr. P. This is the proof of a great song..
Reinterpretation in multiple genres, be it with Alison or this. Beautiful
Robert was having a blast and what an epic moment for the band to have a legend in their presence.
I get to see him in about 3 weeks! I'm so excited❤

To be honest after following Robert, so it extensively the past couple of years I must admit this might’ve been his true calling
Jazzing it up NOLA style! 🎉❤

Ohhhhhhhhh
I really don't know what to say about this as a lifetime led Zeppelin fanatic I wonder if Jimmy Page has seen this
I guess this is just what you do when you are a retired rock star.
when did he retire?
😜 yep. He's been out there with Alison Krauss creating divine tunes, and there's more to come , he hinted at last concert I saw June 8, 2024@@user-gl5kj1fm5x
Show
I never knew King Theodin could sing jazz!
Maybe one guy on that stage has heard this Zeppelin song. not a single one of them has ever played it
Preferred the 1973 version
robert must be delighted these lyrics don't sound dated in the least all these many years later and totally adaptable to his musical setting
what am I even watching
