Safari Missile Single Fin, Surfboard Review, The Regular Guy S05E03

When we decided to review Single Fin surfboards, we had to ask Spider Murphy to send us a board. Safari were there in the glory days at the start of professional surfing under the feet of guys like Shaun Tompson. He was one of the pioneers of the high performance, shortboard, single fin.
It took me a few waves to get my rhythm on this board, as you will see fin my first few waves. Once I connected though, the board flew down the line and really enjoyed turning on the rail.

I've been riding a Rusty Bali Single for over a year and a half, it's a lot of fun. Yeah you get such a sense for the rail, and also knowing how to not slide.
I think it's improved my surfing a lot.

Hey Captain, I actually unboxed a new board for myself yesterday and was thinking of you (you lucky dog).
Another great vid. Had to watch this one several times as the music made me pick up my guitar and jam along.
100% agree that surfing a board that demands your attention makes you a better surfer and adds to the stoke.
Yes, that one is a keeper!
