Can't believe the amount of terrific stops you are managing to fit into each vlog. The Land Run Memorial was really impressive and the roof interior of the Red Barn was simply amazing! Many thanks Jordan and Scott for making each day on Route 66 a true adventure.
Omaha also has sculptures of settlers. They were amazing as the land run sculptures look in your vlog. Thanks for sharing your journey! Sorry about your 🚗.
This is so fun seeing where we end up at and all the things we get to see. Thank you, Jordan and Scott, for taking this trip and including us in it. I would never get to see these things if it wasn't for the two of you. Travel safe and take care. See you tomorrow.
Hope you enjoyed the drive though OKC! I drive that part of Western nearly every day and always notice the Route 66 markers with the different alignments. Safe travels!
We had a building that looked just like the Gold Dome here in Fort Wayne Indiana. It was a bit smaller. It was a bank, and when the bank closed, they tore it down. 😢
Wow! So many cool places to see. I love the ball park and gas station signs! You did such a great job with all the stories along the way. We were just in OK in April to visit family & we're definitely going to check this out next time we go. Thank you Jordan for your attention to detail on each stop. Can't wait to see where you go next!
Hi Jordan and Scott, Day 11. I love old gas station signs. You should have gotten the chicken fried steak with the country style gravy. Stay safe, see you tomorrow.
Love this vlog of Route 66! The round barn was awesome! My Dad would tell a joke every time we went by a Round barn in Indiana. "Look a man once lost his mind looking for a corner....!" LOL. The memorial to the Oklahoma Land Rush was incredible! TY!
Jordan and Scott, love your Oklahoma City tour. Those "land run" statues are totally awesome, a lot of time in making them. Looking forward to tomorrow. BTW: love Scott's tee shirt; Gordon Lightfoot, who make the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald famous, just died not too long ago. I saw him in concert at Hara Arena, such an awesome voice. Stay safe my friend.
Great video. My parents were married in Ft. Sill west of OK city where Geronimo was held prisoner and is buried just outside the fort. Both my parents were in the army back in the early 40s.
I've never seen so many old gas station signs in one place. Love the round barn. I'd be inside the Pops place all day picking out some special flavors. The one thing I made jokes about was always that my car never had enough room for a day of shopping or road trip. That's 100% true and now I have a Subaru same thing not enough room. Looks like I need to look into getting something way bigger. Î seriously fill it up front to back. Here's a tip for those who don't know. On your road-trip it's easy to miss a video. Since UA-cam doesn't notify. Best thing to do is for everyone go to your main page and click on videos so it pulls up most current video and then you don't get lost in the shuffle.
JTL the best vlogger ever Scott too!...take me to places I might not be able to visit, especially Route 66. Your vlog is delivered with fascinating facts, passion giving us rich Americana history!
Scott may be fascinated by the bizarre story of the fight of Jim Thorpe's body and final resting place where his widow actually tried to sell the rights to it! A true tale not often told...
Love love Oklahoma City. We have been to all of these places. We visit family once a year we live in Kentucky. Love love your coverage of Oklahoma City. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love the Red Barn and the statues of the Land Run! Those were amazing! I don't know if l will ever take a trip on Route 66, so thanks for taking me along❤Take care and safe travels❤
Thank you Jordan and Scott. Those land grab statues were so amazing!!! All the action and expressions on everyone's faces was so real it just comes to life before your eyes. That must have been so wonderful to see in person!
The land run statues are truly amazing. Also spend time at the cowboy museum if you like westerns. A more somber museum is the Oklahoma City bombing museum
Oh Jordan been watching you for years and now these videos in my state!! Excited because I have so many memories of the Stroud Peach festival with my grandma. She passed last year and today is her birthday ❤
Hello Jordan I am literally working on a 2,000 piece puzzle of Route 66 now. And I see some of the same signs and things that you are seeing on my puzzle. 🤗
Great video Jordan and Scott. The round barn, the door and windows look like a face. I hope the weather is good. I really like Pops. Sarsaparilla is delicious. I love how you are showing different things on this trip.
Scott got a little out of control there. Yeah, Jordan when you were checking out the ball park must have snuck away to a dispensary! I'm just foolin' of course. Have fun!
I'm so glad you're going through Oklahoma I commented yesterday that my grandmother was from Oklahoma she was born in her grandpa's house in Stroud and my dad was born in Okmulgee and I just lost my dad in February. So this is pretty cool I haven't been to Oklahoma since 2008 when I left California and moved to South Carolina I went I 40. But when I left South Carolina and moved to Texas we drove interstate 10 so it was a whole different scenery
I'd love to travel Route 66. It's been a long time unfulfilled goal. You and Scott have allowed me to "travel" along a route I've longed to see.Meanwhile, Far and Away (1992), directed by Ron Howard, has an epic recreation of the Oklahoma Land Rush.
That's how Oklahoma Sooners was a nod to the land run . Some of the land run people that started early "cheated" was called Sooners. Big Toby Keith's restaurant that's amazing is right on the Boat tour by the land run garden
I sit here watching this video with Beyond the Unknown with Dan Wildman on in the background when all of a sudden Scott is on the screen talking about the death of Jayne Mansfield. Crazy!!
I haven't had a chance to watch yet but I hope you are able to stop at The National Cowboy Museum to see all of the western film memorabilia and John Wayne's gun from Stagecoach.
Route 66 In New Mexico after you hit Albuquerque, there is an interesting Route 66 casino, I live a couple of miles towards the south west of there, just thought you'd like to see that. I love your vlogs.
Route 66 sing Love you tube channel Love my favorite one fan Big hi Jordan ⭐️💖🎶
You guys are getting deep, deep into Route 66! Go for it. Leave no stone unturned!!

Omaha also has sculptures of settlers. They were amazing as the land run sculptures look in your vlog. Thanks for sharing your journey! Sorry about your 🚗.

I love these, i'm from England and will never get to America and you bring America to me! Thank you
We had a building that looked just like the Gold Dome here in Fort Wayne Indiana. It was a bit smaller. It was a bank, and when the bank closed, they tore it down. 😢
Oklahoma City's gold dome was also originally opened as a bank in 1958.

Man, you completely missed the Original two lane Route 66 between OKC and Yukon, Ok. Oh well maybe next time. Great Vlog! 😊
There is still plenty of original Route 66 from Clinton all the way to the Texas state line.
My Grandmother was born in El Reno before OK was a state
Enjoying the ride, but you misses, or maybe I missed Vinta OK part of Route 66
Cool vlog Jordan!
