1. Locate Data Link Port. It is located under dash on drivers side. Be sure you know which pins are 8 and 4.
2. Make sure there are metal contact pins in terminals 8 and 4. Connect 8 to 4 with a suitable jumper wire ( leave the jumper wire connected throughout the programming procedure). Make sure you know which terminals are 8 and 4. The vehicle will respond by locking and unlocking the doors to signify entering of programming mode.
3. Press and hold both the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons together on the first remote to be programmed and after about 15 seconds, the vehicle will respond by locking and unlocking the doors. Release buttons on remote.
4. Within one minute, repeat step 3 on the remaining remotes to be programmed.
5. Remove jumper wire applied to OBDII port.

If you are getting no response after inserting the wire, there is a good chance the vehicle is not set-up for factory remotes.

You may have a blown fuse. If you check fuse diagram you'll be able to find keyless module fuse. Once found, inspect and replace. NOTE: fuse may look fine but don't be fooled, replace it anyway. Then try to program with jumper wire again. Make sure you are programming correct remote as there are many look alike remotes but for different years and models.

Need help on 01 yukon the hold the unlock button don't work, hear it enter program mode
If the vehicle is entering programing mode but the remote is not responding, there may be an issue with the remote you are using.
doors lock and horn beeps. Alarm will not sound when you open a door. What to do?
My vehicle enters the programming mode but doesn’t do anything when I hold down the unlock and lock buttons
If the vehicle enters programming mode but will not respond to the remote - there may be an issue with the remote you are using
I had the same problem at first. Try a different remote
@@Dewaynemckynzi yes that worked I had the wrong key number or something ended up getting the right key number
Do I need to turn on the car ?
no
Mine does not have the 8th pin
It has the slot but it's blank
That indicates that the vehicle does not have the factory remote option.
@@PYR-Auto what does that mean?
نبغا تشغيل عن بعد جمس 1995
This will not work on a 1995 Yukon.
