I’ve been using it daily for a couple of years. I’m retired with plenty of time and use it AM and PM. It has changed me from a wig shopper to someone with great hair. It is thicker on the sides and back, but the IRestore brought back the top such that nobody would say I have thinning hair At 70 I am growing my hair to shoulder length so I can wear it up. I will never be without this device!!!
Hi Beth! I’m so happy for your success with the IRestore. I’ve used mine for a year and 4 months and taken the vitamins. I, too, am seeing the hair at my temples grown back!!! I’m a believer, I use it every other night. Great review. Love ya, Cindy🌻💗
Thanks for sharing that CIndy!! I am so happy it is working for you!! I will think of you the next time I use it!!! That's a fun thought. You have very pretty hair by the way. XXOO Beth
I have been using this for over a year now and it has been very successful. I use it every other day for 25 minutes (using it everyday is not recommended). It has definitely decreased the shedding, and overall my hair feels thicker and the temples have filled in some.. the reduced shedding has been the most impressive
I am so happy it is working for you! I was noticing this morning about how thick my hair is. It has gotten noticeably thicker over the last two years. I am glad it works for you too!
Great video! I have been using only a couple of months, but it is very easy to use. Important to note that the company recommends to use only every other day. One wish is that your 18 month right side picture would have your hair pulled back so your ear was shown, as in the other 3 photos.
Hi Laurie. Sorry about that. In my next round of pictures I will make sure it matches better. You were so right that you were only supposed to use it every other day and not every day. Apparently every day can overstimulate the hair follicles which is not good. I appreciate you pointing that out.
I started having hair fall out in huge amounts every day and at every wash. There was hair all over my bathroom floor. My hair texture was changing, I was getting terrible split ends due to the thinning. I started a high quality collagen that I simply mixed into my morning tea. Almost immediately my hair stopped falling out. I naturally have thicker, curly hair and now do not have any problems with excessive fall out. I’ve been using the collagen for 3 months. I’ll probably stop using it soon to see if my hair changes again without it.
I have been using the iRestore for almost a year and have also had good results. I would definitely recommend it to anyone hesitant about the purchase.
Thanks for sharing Kathleen! I am so happy for you! I know from my own experience how great it feels to actually be growing new hair rather than losing it! I appreciate you sharing that. XXOO Beth
Hi Beth, love the video. Yes, definitely see a difference! Great info. I was also seeing a loss of my hair along the hair line around my face. Especially around the temples & top of my forehead. One of the 1st channels I found a couple years back spoke about how important it is to get blood flow to your sculpt using massage, at least 4 mins a week w/your head below your heart. I’ve been doing that ever since & it has helped. I’ve also been taking Saw Palmetto. I think adding the red light/infrared would be even better.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty I lay on my back w/my head over the side of the bed, turn my timer on for 4 mins & really massage my entire scalp, paying special attention to the areas where my hair was thinning.
Good afternoon Beth, Because of YOU and Dr Dray. 5 months ago I started my hair journey with the I Restore system. I totally see my baby sprouts hair growing…. I THINK, Hair is the crown of our face and confidence and thanks to YOU DR DRAY AND I RESTORE I removed a 20 yr journey of wearing extensions. Like your husband. My boyfriend DID NOT LIKE me with extensions as they will always show. I have a while to go in restoring my damaged hair, HOWEVER, I am enjoying the process. Much GRATITUDE AND LOVE TO YOU. Patricia
Love to you too Patricia! It looks like we both love our blonde hair! It’s funny that neither of her husbands like the Hair Extentions. I am so happy I no longer have to wear them. I am glad you were using enjoying the Irestore. Yes, I agree with you that Dr. Dray was the main reason I started using it. I really trust her recommendations. Have a great evening!
Glad you did this video. I have extensions due to lupus and Lyme disease…although I’m pleased with the extensions…I prefer my own hair. I’d like to give this a try. I have done PRP with stem cells and it’s good but as you know growing hair is an extremely slow process! Because of you, I now use Omnilux, Nira, and Nuface plus various beauty products I feel you have helped me look my best!
Hi Toni. I am so happy you are liking the beauty devices that I have been using to! I am just going to go in right now and use my Nira! They take a little bit of effort but I really think they do help too. I am glad that you have extensions that you like because I know lupus and Lyme disease can be very challenging. I hope you were able to grow your own hair too. I am really pulling for you.
Thanks to your research and videos, I bought my irestore 16 months ago. My hair loss stopped immediately, and regrowth came not too long after. I'm so glad I watched your video about hair loss. Thank you!!!!!
I started Irestore about 12 months ago this month actually. I thought it was not working as well I thought it would but I kept using it. Last month my hair stylist and myself (as well as a dermatologist) noticed significant regrowth all over my head . So I will tell you what I think in effectiveness order caused hair loss to revert to normal and all my hair line and even in the back start filling in. I started all these things in October and November. 1. I stopped coloring my hair. I always colored my hair dark brown and just decided to stop. I have alot (about 80% white hair) 2. I started using Nizoral medicated shampoo (you can get at the drugstore or amazon) once a week. Other days in the week regular shampoo. The ingredient antifungal in Nizoral is a DHT inhibitor which is what causes hair loss in female pattern. 3. At end of November, I started using Rogaine 5% once a day 4. I started sleeping in a silk bonnet (from Lilysilk) to keep any rogaine residue from getting on my face although it dries very fast 5). increased my vitamins to double the dose of Vitamin D, added Vitamin E, and B6 (p5p form) and continued biotin. I continued the Irestore 3 days a week. 6) I continued using Irestore 3 times a week. I had alot of shedding in Dec, January and to mid Feb as was known as the "dread shed" when you start Rogaine. By early March the regrowth from Rogaine was quite apparent. I think the combo of the rogaine and stopping the hair dye was the 2 most significant reasons for regrowth. I like the Irestore as an added bonus but my true regrowth is from those two things. If you follow Nikol Johnson on YT here she has a group on FB Beauty Reinvented. Tons of people have experienced alot of regrowth after stopping the dye.
You're the best! Vickie, I always say that whatever someone says about someone else is usually what's inside of them. You are obviously a very kind-hearted person. Thanks for being my friend. XXOO Beth
My hair stopped shedding after a couple of weeks of use which was amazing! My receding spots above my temples are slowly improving after 14 months of use. I wish it was more but it isn't getting worse! I haven't been taking the vitamins that came with the kit...perhaps I should give those a try...it can't hurt right! 😀 Thanks for your update. Your hair looks thick and so pretty!
I am glad to know that your shedding has stopped and you feel your hair has stabilized. I totally get how scary it is to be in the midst of hair loss. You know, I think if I were you I would try those vitamins. I think they were helpful for me and that I should not have quit using them. . Good luck!
I think Dr. Dray also said it's important to find out the reason for your hair loss. I plan to ask my dermatologist about hair loss next time I go in for my annual visit. I have been considering iRestore for a while but want to be sure my type of hair loss can actually be helped with this device. Your hair does look much thicker now so that's great!
I think that's very smart Elizabeth. You might want to go to the irestore website because they have a list there of what types of hair loss it works for and what types it doesn't work for. You could print that out and take it with you to your doctor to see if it would work for you. I was lucky as I just started it blindly. One thing I was struck by though was that the website said once the hair totally stops coming in in a certain place it won't regrow again. That told me that I really should try to take care of it because it got worse. I know I will probably have to use this for the rest of my life but it works so well for me, I think it's worth it. I hope you find out it will work for you too. XXOO Beth
Hi Beth! Your hair looks great! I have taken high doses of biotin for years and I have seen my hair coming in like that in those areas. Thanks for the advice at the end of your video. Makes a lot of sense!!
I've been using this since January so need to be patient for about another 6-12 months. I had the same areas of thinning hair as you. I hope it helps me like it did you.
Your hair is so much fuller now. I'm happy that it worked so well for you. The "I should" thing is a lose/lose situation. I like your new way of looking at the present and what we want vs. what we "should" do. I'll try that. Thanks, Beth.
Thanks so much Cynthia! Dr. Parker first told me that last week and it has really been helping me! I just went to my third session with him today and he said that Alan could help me by pointing out when I said...I should, I have to, I need to, etc. When I told Alan that he said I said those things "all the time!" I didn't really even think I did that! It is pretty interesting. In fact, one of my sons is now seeing Dr. Parker via Zoom. He had his first session today and he told me it thought the sessions will be helpful. XXOO Beth
Beth, you cracked me up with the televangelist hair line lol all I could picture was Robert Tilton and Oral Roberts! Thanks for that uplifting message. It has always been what sets you apart, it’s not just about physical beauty but a positive and beautiful mind and spirit. 🙏
I stopped putting sunscreen along my hairline and ears. I have thinning around those areas and I read controversy about sunscreen ingredients contributing to hair loss. Weather true or not, I still use sunscreen on face and wear hat, I'm just careful not to touch hairline.
Thank you so much Carol! I will have to start bringing my son block down a bit too. Maybe that contributed in someway to my hair loss. I appreciate the info!
Beth, this would be a wonderful item to try, unfortunately it's more that I can afford. My hair is thinning some might be age, or medication. I think I look like a female version of Benjamin Franklin. I can't style my hair anymore, I mainly wear it in a ponytail which isn't the best choice of hairstyle but at least I don't look as bald with it. I've considered crown toppers but there aren't that many great looking ones to choose for. I'm happy you're seeing great results.
I’m sorry to hear your hair is thinning. I know from personal experience how difficult that can be. I am not sure of this, but iRestore may come out with a product in the future which is less expensive. If that happens, I will let you know.
Thank you so much for this amazing video. Beth. Your hair looks incredible. I see a huge difference! You didn’t mention how often you’re using it. Is it still every other day for 25 minutes? Or have you switched to daily use?
Yes, I am using it every other day for 25 minutes. I have to admit that at around the year point to maybe a few months ago, I started to get a little sloppy about that. It's easy to kind of forget what my hair used to be like. I think that sloppiness in my use may be why the front doesn't seem as thick to me as the sides. For about the past month though I am back to using it totally RELIGIOUSLY which is what I did for the first year. I don't want to take this hair I have gotten for granted because if I don't use the device I am sure my poor hair growth will return. XXOO
@@FiftyPlusBeauty yes I found a amazing collagen powder verisol collagen powder 💪 it's also amazing for skin 30 days for wrinkles and sagging it also has hylarunic acid helpful try natural factors good company Canadian 🇨🇦
Hi Beth! I’ve recently discovered your UA-cam videos (love love love). I haven’t tried IRestore, but I have been using Viviscal (supplement) and Nioxin shampoo & conditioner for 18 months. It took about 12 months to see great results. I started taking it because I wanted something that would not regress if I stopped taking/using. Your hair looks fabulous!
Hi Pamela. Thank you so much for sharing your results using those two products! I am so glad they are working for you! I know from personal experience how difficult it is to suffer from hair loss. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend
I wish your side pictures in the 6 month and 18 month were taken the same way as the first two pictures. (See how Angie/hot and flashy takes pictures) It’s not clear to me that this worked based on your pictures. I know you see happy so that is the most important thing.
I agree. I hated to be negative but you're right. It seems like the hair is pulled back more in the first pics an 2nd two the hair band is in the middle of her head an hair is pushed forward. Angie really does make her pics exact! She is very anal about it, in a good way an I appreciate it. She has commented on how difficult it is to replicate a picture, but its important in regards to before and afters.
I just have to say it is so nice to see you wearing a color on your nails. Not the the White French tips don’t look nice because they do, but you rarely wear any other colors. I love the Spring and Summer months to change up my nail colors with the soft pastel colors and soft pink. During the Fall and Winter I usually only wear one color which is a very neutral color, but for Halloween 🎃 I always get something fun and Christmas 🎄 I usually do a festive color. The only one color I can’t bring myself to wear is black. It’s just to dark for me. Now back to the hair. I love your results. I also have been seeing my hair thin out along my temples more so on one side then the other. I have the laser band by Hairmaxx and I have been wearing it for about 7 months now..I am so grateful that we have all these wonderful at home devices these days. I had 2 aunts that suffered from alopecia. If only they had these types of devices back in the 1970’s it might have helped them. Thank you Beth for another great video
You’re so welcome Julie! You know, I actually did used to wear black polish. I wore it consistently for about three years then figured out it was too harsh. I am such a creature of habit! I know french is really out of style but I have to admit that the red is tough for me. I am definitely no Madonna!!! I bet you look good in all those different nail colors. I’m so glad the Hairmax is working for you! Thanks for sharing that. 💝💝💝
@@FiftyPlusBeauty for me red nail polish is for the holidays or Valentine’s Day. That is the only time I wear red. The French is beautiful and it goes with everything, but it gets played out. I bet you would look so good in a light lavender nail color because you are blonde and it would look great on you. Either way you always look beautiful.
Really impressed with your results! I have thinning hair at temples so I am going to give it a try PLUS the supplement. With a 12 month satisfaction guarantee what do I have to lose? Thank you so much for sharing your experience ❤️
Your thought for the day brought to mind my new favorite quote from the book The Invisible Woman. She talks about "the sacrement of the present moment". I love it!
@@FiftyPlusBeauty Well, it is interesting but quite gritty. She's a spy in France during WWII and doesn't expect to survive which is why she cherishes the sacrament of the present moment. Basically how all of us should look at life. Thanks for all the cool videos!
Hello Beth, I do believe the led is not a fad & that it may help some people for sure. I used the Irestore faithfully for 10 months with no results. I would sell it actually but not sure how to go about it. I’m from Canada too which may complicate things. Thank you for your videos Beth .
I didn't realize the laser would speed up the phase you are in. I have EXTREME shedding post covid and felt the laser was making it worse. I guess it would be good to stop until I'm in the growth phase. I can't afford to lose more hair at this point. Great info and video as always.
I am so sorry to hear that Covid has caused you hair loss. That must be very distressing. It’s also sort of interesting about what happened with regard to your hair loss after using the Irestore. I know you probably have, but have you tried biotin? That is supposed to help with hair growth.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty oh yes, I'm taking everything I can think of. This has been tough but I know others are going through this as well. I am using the hairmax band right now, but might upgrade to the irestore with your discount. thx!
Hi Katie, I have really like the helmet shape of the device because it gets to all parts of your scalp. Also, I love that it's guaranteed to work. Thanks so much!! XXOo Beth
I definitely see improvement in your before and after pics! I have the band but am thinking of purchasing this. Do you think it’s okay to use it along with derma rolling the scalp?
I bought one of these about 2+ years ago but it does not look like yours on the inside - my cap only has about 60 lights inside . Model ID-500. Cost was about $600 with the battery pack. the newest version I think has even more of the red laser lights. I am not using it that often anymore because it didn't seem to be doing anything & I take biotin & saw palmetto too. But my hair loss was much worse than yours which looks more like male pattern baldness than alopecia (me). But I will try it again every other night for 3 months and let you know if I see any improvement because before I didn't see any at all. I also have their shampoo...it was interesting to hear that what it does is speed up the current cycle. I don't seem to even have a grow cycle anymore! Thank God for wigs!
Hi Robin. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. I hope maybe it will work for you if you try it again. It doesn’t work for everyone. Wigs are great. I have just learned that many popular stars actually wear wigs.
Hi Beth! As always, thanks so much for her another great video. I have been wanting to buy this, but the price. Ugh. However, I know you can’t put a price on having our hair grow back. I used to be the girl with the great hair and it’s pretty depressing to see how thin it’s gotten. I just cut it to possibly help it and I just want it to grow. I’ve tried Rogain, but it makes my hair feel greasy. If I take the plunge on the device, I’ll definitely send you pics. Take care! Xoxo
It is a high price but, like you, I think keeping our hair is worth a lot. If I did it though I would definitely view the return policy. There is an 18% restocking fee at the end the year but I still think that would be worth it even if it didn’t work. If you do purchase it, please do let me see your pics. That would be just great!
Hi Janelle, I think you may really like it. If you get it just make sure and use it consistently every other day for 25 minutes and do give it time. irestore says it can take up to six months to see results but mine started earlier than that. XXOO Beth
@@MarbledPaladin I think it may be helpful a little but for myself Rogaine 5% once a day really caused alot of regrowth. I'm so glad I started using that.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty Unfortunately, I had to refuse my package with very high customs fees (140 euros) just after the payment of the helmet + delivery costs, I invite all people outside the United States to take these additional costs into consideration, in addition to that will be added the cost of return * I do not know how much money I will have spent for nothing * I am in France
Greetings Beth! Your hair does look fabulous. I love your thoughts on self talk and not "shoulding" on ourselves. Thank you for sharing!! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Hi thanks for Posting. Can you comment on why you stopped using HairMax? I am so confused because there are multiple videos up,on different brands but no comment on why one was stopped and another started. I really appreciate your time and effort in informing us. Love your channel and I’ve learned so much!
Thank you so much for your nice compliments. Actually, I stopped using the hair mix because I wanted the LED lights to be more in a helmet format to get more of my scout. I think both products work very well.
Hi Beth, I like this video. Does the Irestore work for people taking medications ( as high blood pressure pills, antidepressants, antianxiety)? I've read that the drug minoxidil doesn't help balding from medications.
That is a good question. I am really not sure of the answer to that. You might email the Irestore People from the website. Those are all interesting questions.
Barbara Hoffman has lots of other info in her short videos on YT about HAIR, excellent info. I will try the light too. Be careful with regular biotin usage as it is supposed to throw off the thyroid. Also, low thyroid is what causes what you call the televangelist hair. Luckily, out hair cycles! Thank you
it actually can throw off your thyroid testing but it doesn't actually do anything to your thyroid. They suggest stopping anything with biotin 1 week before bloodwork.
@@jenniferannfox2316 you are exactly right. I have no thyroid so I get my blood work done every 3 to 6 months and if I forget to stop the biotin supplements it throws my labs off and my Dr notices right away and asks what I was taking lol
My recessions like yours on each side of temples. I'm using castor oil and will try infrared light which is cheaper, hope it helps!! Your hair is better if seem!!💗💗💖💖
The 18th month side profile photos are taken from a back angle. It would be nice to have it straight on like the first few examples. You can't see the thin temple area.
hi beth, i am too using the irestore beacause of your . it is 9 months for me and defenetly seeing results. question: i read from one of your viewers that she was using it daily in the AM and PM. is that ok to use it so often? love your videos, always rely on your reviews.
Hi Judith, I have asked the company for instance if I can use it everyday. They said not to do that as it can overstimulate the hair follicles which they said could be counterproductive. That's what I was told. XXOO Beth
It would help to use the same lighting for before and afters… when you use brighter lights for afters it seems misleading… thanks! I did purchase I’m 53 and have menopause (testosterone) bald patch on my crown … will take before after to see how it works for me. Love your videos
Thank you so much for your nice comments. I am happy that you were starting to use it. Just be sure to use it consistently every other day for 25 minutes. Please also do take a before and after picture. Actually, the lighting is exactly the same in all the pictures. I know that is very weird. It is just my normal make up room lighting which is all the same. I don’t know why sometimes they appear to be a different brightnesses.
Beth, I am 50 and have lost a lot of hair, probably from being so close to menopause. I can't lose anymore, and am ready to dip into savings to get a helmet..do you still recommend this product, and can you offer any helpful tips for when I start using one? Do you use any special shampoo with it? Thanks so much! You are an angel 😇
Hi Jen. Yes, I am still using the Irestore and I really recommend it. I am so with you as it is horrible to lose your hair. As you can see in my video, I started to have big bald patches about two years ago and Irestore really helped me. Just make sure to take a before picture before you get started and do you remember the moneyback guarantee in case it does not work for you for some reason. I think there is a restocking fee though so make sure to check the website for that before you order it. Good luck with it if you choose to use it.
Hi Beth!🤗 just tuning in rn. Cute outfit! I finally sprang for the iRestore 3 months ago. I agree, it's life changing! I do hope other beauty tools I aspire to buying work for my face (& hands) as well as iRestore has done for my hair, after only 3 months...so far! I just had overall thinning, no real bald patches, but my scalp was definitely showing right thru my hair on top. Pink scalp against white/blonde hair (natural color) is not a good look! Well...no more! Not only is my scalp not showing 'up top' my new hair growth has come in darker, which has made my hair look even more full bc the darker hair (dark blonde) has added some depth and a look of overall fullness. Thanks so much for your demo's of this tool, especially, Beth! You and Dr. Dray are my two best reasons for finally tipping my decision in the right direction to buy this device. So happy I did😄
Hi Barbara, thanks for sharing your great results!!! I am so happy it's working for you. Yes, it's very scary when we start seeing our scalp instead of hair! I appreciate your sharing that! XXOO Beth
Hi Miranda, I'm sorry it didn't work for you but I'm so glad you were able to return it. Apparently, there are some types of hair loss that it doesn't work for. that info is on the website. Beth
I am on meds for breast cancer. My cancer is estrogen based and my medication is to stop all production of estrogen. Needless to say it has/is affecting my hair immensely. I wonder if this could help? it would be wonderful if it did. Perhaps I will contact the company to see if it would work for someone in my situation….. thank you for this update Beth, much appreciated!
@@FiftyPlusBeauty thank you Beth. By the way I have ordered it!!!! I went over and watched Dr Drays video on it and went over to the website and took their questionnaire. Any improvement would be welcome.
Hi Christine. I am using the Irestore professional. I don’t know if it makes any difference if that is the only one I have ever used. Thanks for asking.
Hi Alex, it's a similar LED light therapy technology but the Hairmax is a laser band, not a full helmet. For me personally, I wanted hair growth all over my head. I have used the laser band in the past though and it works too. XXOO Beth
I’m 11 months into the Hairmax laser band. It was $650 which is all I was willing to gamble. Happy I did!! You just slide it over your head in 30 second intervals. Easy Peasy! Buy it!
Yes you do have to keep using it but that’s true of anything. To keep slim abs, you have to keep doing sit-ups, you have to keep brushing your teeth, etc. I’m used to that idea.
Yes, I think you probably could do that. I love that sweatshirt too! Plus it has been through the wash three times and it still looks brand new. Machine wash it and then hang it dry. 💝
Hi Beth, I LOVE your videos! I have been using the iRestore device for about 4 months now and see positive results. I did have a bit of shedding at first but that seems to have settled down now. Keeping my fingers crossed that my outcome will be as good as yours! Hair loss can be devastating 😢
Thanks for sharing!! I am so glad it is working for you too Teri. The irestore website says you really don't see hair growth starting until about the six month point. I first had shedding too but then by three months it was turning around. XXOO Beth
Unfortunately, I had to refuse my package with very high customs fees (140 euros) just after the payment of the helmet + delivery costs, I invite all people outside the United States to take these additional costs into consideration, in addition to that will be added the cost of return * I do not know how much money I will have spent for nothing * I am in France
In your side pics it honestly just looks like in the last photo you just didn't pull your hair back as high on your head and some of the top hair is covering the 'balder' spot. So its impossible to tell from your 18 mo pics.
Hi Beth I like my I Restore very much! My hair has stopped shedding and looks thicker ! I am still working on it! I have been afraid to take the vitamins but after you said you used them I am going to try them out! They have been sitting here and I haven't used them! It is nice they send you things free to try! Thank you so much! Have a blessed dsy!
Hi Judy, I really should never have stopped those vitamins as I think they really helped. I tried to take their gummies but they tasted too good and I literally couldn't stop at just one...I'm not kidding, I couldn't have them in the house!!!! XXOO beth
I really don't know. Companies sometimes change codes on me. I know it will be good for at least a month though. You might have him to to the irestore website as they do have picutes of the kinds of hair loss it works for. Also, keep the box and all materials in case your son does need to return it. I have really liked it though. XXOO Beth
@@FiftyPlusBeauty Thank you so much. He did the questions and pictures with them already. He is just trying to figure out what one to get. We are looking at the one with the one with the most lights. And also the pills to take.
Im subbed to Irestore on Facebook but im in the UK 🇬🇧. So i don't think i qualify. I can't buy it, far to expensive as the UK is going through dreadful prices rising in everything. XxX. Love you 😍 ❤❤❤
I am so sorry about that Angela! I have heard that from many Brits. I am sorry things are more expensive there. Maybe there is a similar type of device from a different company over there. I hope so. Beth
Alex W...well it actually won't... Unless you've developed a bigger issue than the average age-related hormonal changes causing thinning of the hair. I've been using iRestore for 3 mos. now. The stage where we lose old hair (and this a normal cycle, we sometimes notice, or sometimes don't even notice much), does seem to be more pronounced when starting iRestore. I noticed it alot when I began using iRestore. But thanks to beauty influencers like Beth & Dr. Dray, (& iRestore' support team), I wasn't alarmed about it. And I did not see adverse effects, like bald patches or looking more thin than when I began. This hair fallout seemed constant (but just strands, not like handfulls...just a hair here, another one there, then another... one-at-a-time - was annoying, for sure (especially when cooking, or you close a dresser drawer and see a long thin strand of your hanging from the dresser drawer)🤯 Truly annoying, but it does stop after about 4-6 wks. And then you realize your hair is not falling out anymore. And, lo & behold, you have new growth, especially around the temples and the forehead hairline, and they are short and sort of stick up! They stick straight up and seem to give added body to your longer strands of hair! And mine came in dark blond (my hair was looking white blonde bc my 'grey' was actually a white color). Lots of users report their new growth comes in darker, or absent the grey strands. And then you realize that your scalp isn't showing thru your hair on top anymore. And that, overall, your hair looks shinier, stronger and healthier. It's unreal! One of the best buying decisions I've ever made, actually.
Wow Barbara!! Thanks so much for that wonderful account! That's just wonderful!! I'm sorry you had the initial hair loss as I did. It isn't easy to get through that phase, but you shared what happened so perfectly. I really appreciated reading your account! XXOO Beth
Hi Alex, Yes, there are very positive reviews on the shampoo and the conditioner and they are both designed to foster increased hair growth. I am just such a Kenra girl that I stuck with what I was used to. I really do need to give their products a try. XXOO Beth
Sandra, I'm so sorry to hear that. I do hear that's a pretty common problem. I hope your hair starts growing back fuller than ever very soon. XXOO Beth
Hi Nancy, I looked up a Q&A from irestore and this is what they said: You may use the iRestore device with a pacemaker. However, we highly recommend consulting your doctor first. Thank you! I would definitely check with my doctor first. Beth

No. I actually believe people are responsible for their own feelings. I have suffered from depression on and off for my whole life, and it wasn’t until I realized that my feelings on my own, and I was able to pull them and get out of it all. It’s much more insensitive to tell people there is nothing they can do, just let them suffer. Behavioral therapy is Super Helpful with Depression.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty there’s chemical imbalance and this isn’t based if belief, but science. To tell people they’re responsible for their own mental issues is insensitive. Whether you suffer or not, it’s insensitive. The biggest support of those in need is their surroundings. At some point yes, you must get up and make their moves to become a participant in their own care. But you’re insensitive. Everyone isn’t you!
Why did you change from the hair Max I see you have been doing this for years Shouldn’t it have been great after 4 years Just curious Have you heard of Theradome they say no shedding of hair with theirs
Yes, I switched from the Hairmax about two years ago because I wanted more coverage all over my head. The other was just a hairband wear this one is a hair helmet and I really feel like I needed the extra coverage.
Wow!! That’s awesome!! Do you use it every day??
your suppose to use it every other day :)
@@suzyukla I know. I'm a little extra.
XXOO Beth
Hello how are you doing?
That’s great that the collagen worked so well for you. If I were you I might keep it up.
Thats great! May i ask you about which collagen are you taking? I also have curly hair and im having the same problem as yours. Thanks in advance! 😉
Yes which collagen please?😊
Wow Carima! Thanks so much for those great tips! I think I will try to add in the massage. Great idea! XXOO beth
@@FiftyPlusBeauty I lay on my back w/my head over the side of the bed, turn my timer on for 4 mins & really massage my entire scalp, paying special attention to the areas where my hair was thinning.
Good afternoon Beth,
Because of YOU and Dr Dray.
Because of you, I now use Omnilux, Nira, and Nuface plus various beauty products
I feel you have helped me look my best!
Thanks for sharing!! I am so happy for your Gertrude!! That's just awesome!!
I have alot (about 80% white hair)
2. I started using Nizoral medicated shampoo (you can get at the drugstore or amazon) once a week. Other days in the week regular shampoo. The ingredient antifungal in Nizoral is a DHT inhibitor which is what causes hair loss in female pattern.
3. At end of November, I started using Rogaine 5% once a day
4. I started sleeping in a silk bonnet (from Lilysilk) to keep any rogaine residue from getting on my face although it dries very fast
5). increased my vitamins to double the dose of Vitamin D, added Vitamin E, and B6 (p5p form) and continued biotin.
Wow! Great comments! Thanks for sharing all the great info!
This was so helpful. Thank you!
You are my favorite youtuber! Everything from the beauty tips to the life advice and your happy personality - you spark joy❤
XXOO Beth
@@FiftyPlusBeauty Thanks for that info. I will check it out and do more research. Hair loss is so concerning.
Hi Beth! Your hair looks great! I have taken high doses of biotin for years and I have seen my hair coming in like that in those areas. Thanks for the advice at the end of your video. Makes a lot of sense!!
That’s awesome Sheila! If you could tell me what milligrams of biotin you were taking that would be great. I know everyone would appreciate that.
I've been using this since January so need to be patient for about another 6-12 months. I had the same areas of thinning hair as you. I hope it helps me like it did you.
Hi Elizabeth, They say it takes about six months to start seeing the results. Hang in there. I know it will help you too. XXOO Beth
Thanks so much Elle! You are such a sweetheart!!!!!!!! XXOO Beth
Another great video, Beth! Your results are wonderful, and I love your thought for the day. Take care.💖
Thanks so much Anne. I am really pleased with the results. Thanks for being here. Where do you live?
I stopped putting sunscreen along my hairline and ears. I have thinning around those areas and I read controversy about sunscreen ingredients contributing to hair loss. Weather true or not, I still use sunscreen on face and wear hat, I'm just careful not to touch hairline.
Thank you so much Carol! I will have to start bringing my son block down a bit too. Maybe that contributed in someway to my hair loss. I appreciate the info!
I know Dr. Dray is so good, right? Your hair results looks amazing, Beth!!!
Thank you so much Tanya. I really can’t believe how great my results have been. I am definitely lucky with that.
XXOO
Your hair looks very full and thicker too I am lucky to have good hair
I do take collagen powder 💪 it's amazing
Hi Nicki. I also take collagen but I have for three years so I don’t think it is what caused my hair growth.

Your hair color is beautiful.
What process do you use?
Thank you for your help & wonderful videos.
Thank you so much Linda. I get a color we wear my stylist colors every here. That’s to cover the grace!
Thanks Jane. I tried.
You’re so welcome Barbara! I hope it works for you?!
Your thought for the day brought to mind my new favorite quote from the book The Invisible Woman. She talks about "the sacrement of the present moment". I love it!
I LOVE that Carolyn!! Thanks for sharing that! I will check out that book. It sounds very interesting. XXOO Beth
Thank you for your videos Beth
.
I’m so sorry it didn’t work for you. If you have EBay in Canada that’s a great place to sell it. I think they sell very well at a good price.
Love your videos and especially this thought for the day! So wise!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you watch my videos and you’re nice comment. I hope you have a great weekend.
your thoughts of the day are pure wisdom! I really appreciate you sharing them 😍
Glad you like them! I am really feeling helped by Dr. Parkers suggestions. Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it! XXOO Beth
I am using the hairmax band right now, but might upgrade to the irestore with your discount. thx!
Oh my!! I would love to try it!!! It has made such a huge difference!! Love it
Thank you so much! I really love it too!
This was fabulous! I have been using one of the LED face masks on my head as it’s a lot cheaper but I will now consider investing in the iRestore.

Katie V....did it work?
@@malindyo I’m about 2 months in and it is helping
Katie, I have an LED face mask! Thanks!

You are so welcome!💝💝💝
I definitely see improvement in your before and after pics! I have the band but am thinking of purchasing this. Do you think it’s okay to use it along with derma rolling the scalp?
Yes Kimberly. That would be great. 💝
Have you tried the men’s foam fir regain? I find it is not greasy and adds fullness like a hair mouse.
@@truthbetold6942 thanks for the tip! I will try it! 😊
I went to the hairdresser yesterday. I got told it’s genetics my thin hair. I would like to try this.
Hi Janelle, I think you may really like it. If you get it just make sure and use it consistently every other day for 25 minutes and do give it time. irestore says it can take up to six months to see results but mine started earlier than that. XXOO Beth
Keep in mind that is does not work for everyone, it definitely did not work for me...
@@MarbledPaladin I think it may be helpful a little but for myself Rogaine 5% once a day really caused alot of regrowth. I'm so glad I started using that.

I am so happy for you Norrine! I really hope it works for you. Please just be sure to use it consistently 25 minutes every other day. Good luck!

Interesting Alicia! Thank you so much!!
@@jenniferannfox2316 you are exactly right. I have no thyroid so I get my blood work done every 3 to 6 months and if I forget to stop the biotin supplements it throws my labs off and my Dr notices right away and asks what I was taking lol

hi beth, i am too using the irestore beacause of your . it is 9 months for me and defenetly seeing results. question: i read from one of your viewers that she was using it daily in the AM and PM. is that ok to use it so often? love your videos, always rely on your reviews.
Great question!
Yes!
XXOO Beth
I used the irestore but it didn't help so I sent it back after a year was up.
Hi Alex, it's a similar LED light therapy technology but the Hairmax is a laser band, not a full helmet. For me personally, I wanted hair growth all over my head. I have used the laser band in the past though and it works too. XXOO Beth
@@FiftyPlusBeauty thank you again 😊😊😊
I’m 11 months into the Hairmax laser band. It was $650 which is all I was willing to gamble. Happy I did!! You just slide it over your head in 30 second intervals. Easy Peasy! Buy it!
@@barbschultz9323 does it work?
@@shar7508 yes!! I am still in shock!
This is timely . I was just considering it. I’ve tried everything else….!!
I know what you mean. It really worked for me.
If like to try too. But even with the discount it’s expensive. Do you have to keep using it?
Yes you do have to keep using it but that’s true of anything. To keep slim abs, you have to keep doing sit-ups, you have to keep brushing your teeth, etc. I’m used to that idea.
So can I use my current body red light mask on my head?😂 I love the sweatshirt going to get one for sure!!
Yes, I think you probably could do that. I love that sweatshirt too! Plus it has been through the wash three times and it still looks brand new. Machine wash it and then hang it dry. 💝
@@FiftyPlusBeauty K great. I was wondering if the red would bleed into white.
Using virtue flourish line. Making a huge difference
Thanks Rebecca!!
Thank you so much for sharing that! . That is something I was not familiar with and it is not good at all!
Thanks Beth!!
You are so welcome Aleen! Thanks for watching! XXOO Beth
Amazing 🥰
In your side pics it honestly just looks like in the last photo you just didn't pull your hair back as high on your head and some of the top hair is covering the 'balder' spot. So its impossible to tell from your 18 mo pics.
Thank you 😊
You are so welcome Cindy! Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it.
Has anyone bought the extended warranty? I'm wondering if it's worth the money.
I didn’t purchase the extended warranty in my units are all doing great.
Hi Beth
I like my I Restore very much!
XXOO beth
Your hair isn’t combed back the same in before and after
I tried to make it the same, but you could be right. Beth
If iRestore sends me a device I’ll test it for them. I won’t give them $1,195 for the device.
I get that Casey. XXOO Beth
I just started my hair laser journey
That’s exciting Trisha! Do be sure to take a before and after picture. It’s easy to forget sometimes how our hairline started.
My son is looking into getting one. How long is the $400 off for?
I hope so. Beth
@@FiftyPlusBeauty i will look thanks Beth amazing lady 😘 ❤ 💕 💖
Also, what happens if your hair just continues to fall out, even though this helps to grow new hair? Thanks 😊
This hair fallout seemed constant (but just strands, not like handfulls...just a hair here, another one there, then another...
one-at-a-time - was annoying, for sure (especially when cooking, or you close a dresser drawer and see a long thin strand of your hanging from the dresser drawer)🤯
Truly annoying, but it does stop after about 4-6 wks.
@@barbarafairbanks4578 thank you!
Wow Barbara!! Thanks so much for that wonderful account! That's just wonderful!! I'm sorry you had the initial hair loss as I did. It isn't easy to get through that phase, but you shared what happened so perfectly. I really appreciated reading your account! XXOO Beth
Do you know if the shampoo works as well?
Hi Alex, Yes, there are very positive reviews on the shampoo and the conditioner and they are both designed to foster increased hair growth. I am just such a Kenra girl that I stuck with what I was used to. I really do need to give their products a try. XXOO Beth
@@FiftyPlusBeauty thank you 😊
My hair loss is due to covid and it's so fine and thin I can't do anything with it
Sandra, I'm so sorry to hear that. I do hear that's a pretty common problem. I hope your hair starts growing back fuller than ever very soon. XXOO Beth
rogaine 5% once day really helped me alot
Can I restore be used with a pacemaker
Hi Nancy, I looked up a Q&A from irestore and this is what they said:
You may use the iRestore device with a pacemaker. However, we highly recommend consulting your doctor first. Thank you!
I would definitely check with my doctor first. Beth
Love your videos. Keep at it. You have victories in your past. Celebrate them❗️❗️❗️

Let’s not tell people they are the cause of their own depression. Very insensitive!
Great review! I have considered using it.😊🥰💋
Thanks for your comment Amy. I have had really good results using it and I will probably use it for the rest of my life. XXOO Beth
