Modern Masters: Champagne
Mixed Media Girl Pour Paints: Cosmic Teal, Coz Earth Simmer, Pearl White
White Pearl Cell Recipe
NEW WHITE PEARL CELL RECIPE:
3 Parts Flood Floetrol - US
1.5 Part DecoArt Satin Enamel - Pure White (or 2 Parts Behr Untinted Satin Enamel 7300)
1.5 Part Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss
2 Part Blickrylic Student Paint - Titanium White
NEW COLOR PEARL CELL RECIPE:
3 Parts Flood Floetrol - US
2 Parts Behr 7300 Satin Enamel - untinted
1-2 Parts paint of choice (or .5 part fliuid paint)
1.5 Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss or GAC 800
Pouring Medium for PUDDLE/POUR OVER/DUTCH POUR paints:
50% Floetrol 50% Golden GAC 800
Puddle & Dutch Pour Paints mixed 1 pt paint to 4-5 pts PM and water to consistency (This is the ratio for highly pigmented paints like Golden, Amsterdam, Pebeo, etc)
No silicone used for cells. It was all the layering of the paints that made those cool effects.

lol! Thanks so much my friend! The mixed media girl pains were used in the Dutch pour portion. The white base and modern masters created the pearls BUT I do think they would work as the pour over paints! 🙏🏻☺️❤️

Questions for your upcoming beginner Q&A (sorry I don’t know where you said to submit them):
1. How do you reuse your paint that falls off the painting? It looks like it would be a mixture of base paint (with enamels) and regular puddle paint (no enamels). How do you use it?
2. Is your hair dryer set on cool or warm when you do you Dutch pour technique?

Hello my friend! So as far as reusing my drips…I use them as a base coat for a further pearl pour by adding in a bit more satin enamels OR you can use it in a Dutch pour base and the blow out turns out super cool with a very webby look. 2. When I do any pouring I always set my hairdryer to Low/cool. ❤️☺️🙏🏻

Oh my goodness Tara, this is beautiful! Question for you: What happens to the pearls if you don't wait to pour the dutch pour (my apologies if I missed it)?
Thanks so much Erin! So I usually wait to see where the pearls are going to pop up so that I know where to put my Dutch pour through. Another reason is that if you can wait about 45 minutes the pearls you have as the background don’t get super squished when you blow. I hope that helps! 🙏🏻❤️☺️

You could try it…I have never tried. You could do a test piece and see what happens. Sorry I can’t be more help!
I love how it turned out. Question, can you let the base paint dry and then do your blowout?
Thanks so much Tahira! You can BUT when it is dry it is really hard to get the blow out to flow properly. Also, if the paint underneath is not fully cured (for like at least a month maybe a bit more) you will most likely get pin hole marks where the paint underneath is still evaporating and releasing gases. I have a video on my UA-cam where I did do exactly what you are saying. Check it out!

This is gorgeous. Just wondering is the champagn color mixed with same recipe as the base
Thank you so much! So the base is the only one mixed with the satin enamel recipe. All other colors you choose to use as a pour over or Dutch pour color MUST NOT have satin enamel in it. For me, I mix my paint with my pouring medium of 50% Golden GAC 800 and 50% US Floetrol. The recipe for my pour over colors is also in the description box! Depends on the paint! The ratio for different types of paint is in the description box.
I have a question. I see you lay down your pearl mixture, then you have a pour over color? Is that or ais the pour over colors the same mixture as the pearl mixture?
The pearl base has satin enamel in the base...the pour over colors have no satin enamel in them. The recipes are in the description box for both of them.
