Wow! I’ve been following you the whole time you’ve had your channel and I so appreciate the quality of your videos especially this one. Great to see you working through the issues on your tank and it looks absolutely amazing - look forward to the next video already!
I agree.. tried to skip the process alittle too fast but I actually had tons of algae growing on the tray. I’ll get on it and make the correction. Thanks for checkin in! 🫡🤝🏾
Front side is mainly 350ms pulses for the wave. Backside pump runs reef crest majority of the day. At night both pumps transition to tidal swell modes for an easier flow setting while fish sleep. I didn’t share full settings because it’s constantly being tweeked as I see corals respond. Thanks for tapping in 🫡🤝🏾
@@Trodai2020 can’t say it’s better it just fit the small footprint I have. If I ever did a fuge I’d do a huge one full size of my sump. Both options are same means to a end
Remove the dangerous fish and throw it in the sump couple weeks and leave the new guy in display to get settled.. I had to do this with my green Coris when I added a new wrasse. All is well now
Have had a baby Molly miller for about a year and a half now. Realized he bullied my baby clam to death. I found a little bite marks all over his mantle. I sent the bunny downstairs to another tank. After about three months I have started getting lots of aptasia. So basically, he will do an amazing job at controlling pest anemones. However, they can go after clam mantels when you’re bored or hungry.
They was too intrusive with how I have mp40 and orbit mounted. Kinda pointless with the amount of flow I have in my tank I don’t need return lines at all besides moving water from tank to sump. Good eye 🫡👌🏾
I track all my parameters within my Neptune fusion app within my apex. It’s a dope feature.. I can graph and review all test from automation or ones I’ve logged from manually testing with Hanna checkers. Thanks for tapping in 🫡🤝🏾
Is your rodi at 0 tds? Might be what's feeding that algae? Had that algae in my tank and when I got new tds meter for my rodi, it was pretty high. It's 99% gone now. It's a weird type of "algae"...it's like cyano, hair algae and dinos, all in 1. It's like having to fight all 3 😂....like come on tank...just settle down already haha. The good news is that it's not hard to beat. Just getting the rodi water in check will give one the upper hand on fighting it. Mine is actually gone now...🙌 do pack on new carbon tho...that stuff is toxic as sin when it dies off. Hopefully you'll get rid of it as well then you'll be left with a pristine tank and your only problem will be de the constant need to trim the corals 😂🙌
I included a snap of my rodi ICP test it all came back ok.. but i definitely considered my source water as the culprit. As of now all is well since this video. Working on the next update here soon. Thanks for tapping in 🫡🤝🏾

Hoping this video answered those questions.. if I could I would add more 😅 thanks for tapping in 🫡🤝🏾
Gotta go back to just 1 light plugged in until growth fills the screen. And a nice tray brushing would be great too!

Nice job CJ 👏 Can you tell me what is the difference in Vortech pump settings? in the video you presented the settings of only the front one.

How you like the algae scrubber? Is it better performance or same as a refigum? I really like the small and controlled footprint

Ever considered using good bacteria to combat the algee problem? Dr. Tim has a few products.
I dose Bacteria for biome but not for algae removal
CJs how do you added new wrasses in to your tank, I just recently add a yellow tail tamarin wrasse and my leopard wrasse killed it

Glad to hear someone has success with em. I’m still watching to see if he touches the big ones. Not sure if he’s eating them at all at the moment
I noticed you aren't using the random flow generators anymore? Any reason?

What is the app/system your using to track nutrition on
