Unholy Cult has to be my favourite album from 2002. In Their Darkened Shrines was such a surreal listen when I first heard it. I was blown away the first time I saw the video for Sarcophagus on Much Loud in 2002. I'd also have to shout out Forensic by Mortal Decay. Such a unique death metal listen!
Excellent list as always, most of those you mentioned are my favourites as well from 2002, and I agree with you about Immortal & Nile. These two bands are freaking amazing.
