The Plans I Have for You? (Misunderstood Verses, Part 9 - Jer.

This is another famous verse that sometimes gets taken out of context. The plans that are being talked about here are actually meant for a specific group of people, in a specific situation, during a specific time in history. Now, that doesn't mean we can't see principles and truths about God from this verse that can still be helpful today. God knows all with your life. God has planned to give His children and followers peace and not evil along with a future and a hope. However, just like with the people of Judah being in exile, God's peace means that we may need to travel through rough patches in our life, which the Bible doesn't shy away from that those will occur. But just as this was meant to encourage those from Judah in exile, I hope this wonderful verse, within its context, is an encouragement to you as well.
