The tone is fantastic man and you're playing is incredible somebody sign this guy to a record deal man this is the sound I hear in my head and watch this video a few times and I just went out and bought a Marshall jvm Half Stack awesome tone
Man that just shows how great you play.man you make those burst buckers scream...i play an 80 custom with Bonamassa Skinnerburst..but not as fluent as you my friend
WOW, fantastic playing. If I didn't already own a gibson les paul and marshall stack, I'd go out and buy one. Now I just need to learn how to play like this guy!
Les Paul Plus Marshall JVM410 is the ultimate combo. Amps Versatility alone, no effects is a great compromise of versatility( 12 mode amp) and minimalism(no added effects). Just plug and play. It's the simple things
I got it a couple of days ago and love it! Once I got used to the semi-acoustic response, my other solid LP feels a little dead. You really have to give things a fair go sometimes…
I have the same amp and two Les Paul’s but for some reason mine doesn’t sound as good. Must have a defect somewhere in my equipment? LOL. Nice playing!
Thanks dude! Well you have to keep in mind that you hear my whole signal chain with the 4x12 and a mic. So it might sound a bit different than you hear your amp in your room .
Hey thanks Kenneth! :) Yeah..I tested both the JVMH and the JVMHJS and liked the JS version much more. These are Burstbucker Pros! Didn't change them! :)
Jens Ambrosch nice Brother..Ive been playing for 45 years bit only 7 years right handed.switched over after bad wreck crushed my right knuckles..lol..but it was very difficult for me. I always played left handed but on a right handed guitar strung right handed.was just a child when I started and no lessons or help from anyone.thought i was playing the right way because of a picture of Jimmy Hendricks.lol.any way your an awesome gutarist and im proud to be a friend of yours.
Hi, I would like to know if you're using a pedal effect or something else to make this kind of noise ? Because I find difficulties to reproduce a "rock" sound like this.. Thanks :) Very good by the way !
Hi, thanks! I don't use any effects except reverb and delay in this video. It's just the amp and guitar for the main sound. Go check out my Marshall Sound Test video. There you see some settings I use for this amp! :)
Hi. It's great. What were your settings on the amp? Did you record it with a cab or via the line output? If it was a cab, was it a Marshall? Once again it sounds great Marc (from France)
Hi, thanks!! I actually can't tell you the exact settings because I don't have the amp with me right now. But I try my best. The amp was on the OD2 channel in orange mode. Volume around 6, Bass around 6, Mids around 4, Treble around 5 and Gain at 6. Master Volume was at 5. I recorded it with a Marshall 4x12 1960AV and a Sennheiser E906 placed between the centre and the edge of the speaker. Also I added the Boss GT-100 for some reverb and delay. That's it I guess! :) Thanks again :)
Great sound. Great playing. Proof once again that there is nothing in music as cool as a Les Paul and a Marshall. I have a 91 Gibson LP Standard and the JVM410HJS too. You captured the sound really well. I read those settings. That is pretty damn loud for in the house! I can hear that the power tubes are working. I don't hear any windows rattling in the recording though! You're not wearing headphones, so how did you record? Are your monitors playing back that loud? Are you using an iso booth for the cab? What pickups are in the 2008 LP? And one more question if you don't mind .... what setting are you using on the E906? Thanks!
Thanks! Haha, yep...no window rattling. Actually it is not that loud because I lower the output of my Boss GT-100. It is in the loop of the amp. So I could turn the amp up all the way and still be quite if I turn down the Boss. It is loud, but just enough that the cab works properly. Also I'm wearing In-Ears...they're just coverd under my hair. In addition I have something like the Bonamassa amp shield in front of my cab. So it blocks a lot of the sound. Otherwise my neighbour would kill me I think :D So no monitors and no iso cab. The Pickups are the stock Burstbucker Pros. I think the E906 was on the flat setting. No problem! If you have more questions let me know :)
Are you using the serial loop? When I was using a TC Electronic D TWO rack unit for delays I had that in the serial loop. Sounded great. I added a TC Electronic G Force in the other loop and that covers a lot more ground, but I liked the D TWO delays a little better, especially the 2290 settings. The G Force creates a hum in the serial loop. I contacted Marshall and they said I should use that unit in the other loop. That worked! Sounds more open too. Still experimenting with the best ways to use the options available on the amp and the G Force. The G Force requires time to get your effects balanced, but it's a cool unit (with a tuner). It is designed to be used just before the power amp. I used to use it between a JMP1 and 9200 power amp. Love my JVM410HJS and Les Paul though. I actually just bought another LP today. It's a great day! I use a shield in the house too: Several Luann doors hinged around the cab with carpet squares on them and plexiglass across the front. Still recording. I think I need to try a e906 after hearing this video though! Great Jam. Great sound. I put it on when I am online just to get the adrenaline going.
Yes, I'm using the serial loop. Yeah..it's a never ending story because there are so many possibilities! I use my Boss with the 4 cable method. So it's actually in the loop and in the front. What's cool about the Boss is that you can change the order of your effects. So I could say I want a delay in front or in the loop without changing any cables. Also with reverb and modulations there are endless opportunities. If you buy a guitar it's always a great day :) The E906 is really cool. It has a natural sound to it. I think it doesn't affect the sound too much. Thanks again! That's awesome! Have fun with your LP!! :)
That's the answer I was expecting. Great sounding amp. Lots of delays back when they were first coming out. I ordered and waited for months. I finally emailed Marshall and maybe by coincidence mine finally showed up about 2 weeks later. Life is good.
Jens Ambrosch thank you brother..awesome song.my les paul is an 80 black custom through my jvm410 h..you got tallent my friend.awesome playin' and tones
One of the best Marshall's out there.
You're amazing, you're a great guitarist, it's a pleasure to see and listen to you playing this beautiful Gibson Les Paul.
THICKKKK!!!! great playing and tones!!! I see a bit of Doug Aldrich here and there!
The tone is fantastic man and you're playing is incredible somebody sign this guy to a record deal man this is the sound I hear in my head and watch this video a few times and I just went out and bought a Marshall jvm Half Stack awesome tone
Awesome! Classic rock lead 👌 Fantastic tone, mow I know what I can expect from my JVM410HJS
Well its four years later and the jvm is still my favorite amp
man you can play! nice setup as well. Paul and Marshall are great friends :D
Thanks dude! Yeah, probably best friends :D
Man that just shows how great you play.man you make those burst buckers scream...i play an 80 custom with Bonamassa Skinnerburst..but not as fluent as you my friend

Probably the best improvised solo on yt
Thanks man!

JVM410HJS.

Great playing, you’re a gifted musician.
Great tone, great playing, great production, just...great, man.
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it! :)
I was about to start writing lyrics for that one! Sounds incredible!!!
Good demo mate, I`ve been looking at this amp for ages, some great tone there, good playing too!!
I love your playing...inspiring and heartfelt. Never stop.
Thanks dude!
Just bought a lovely 2008 Sunburst LP. Hope I like it. I understand they're pretty heavily chambered.
I got it a couple of days ago and love it! Once I got used to the semi-acoustic response, my other solid LP feels a little dead. You really have to give things a fair go sometimes…
That's Cool!!

you're so Good Player
Great chops!
I have this amp, and you nailed the sound man.
Thanks! Yeah, this amp sounds pretty amazing!
Awesome playing dude!!!!!

Great sound! Great playing! By any chance, would you share your amp settings, please?
Thanks! There's a JVM test video on my channel where you can see all the settings I use :)
You can really rip man. Love the tone of this combo, what for EQ are you using?
Thanks! Sorry, but can't remember the exact settings.
Ich glaub die letzten 400 Klicks gingen auf meine Kappe ;).... Ich werd nicht mehr...... ;) Echt Top! Danke
Nice play
Nice tasty playing ! Love it .
Thanks a lot! :)

Danke! :) Der Backingtrack ist in der Videobeschreibung verlinkt!
Superb! :)
What cab were you using? Ive been waiting over a year on a order for a jvm410h thinking of getting a 410hjs instead used at this point
Killer amp for sure! I'm using a Marshall 1960AV 4x12 cab.

Check the bias on your amp. Marshall usually bias' the amps too cold. This amp rocks when biased properly.

Hi, very nice sound, its orange mode OD1?, mid shift off?
Hey, yes OD1 with mid shift off!
Damn mines really flubby on the bottom end compared to this!!
Can't get my bass above 3 even with the res all the way off
Hey, welchen Song spielst du am Anfang des Videos? Hat Ähnlichkeiten mit "Bark at the moon".
Ist ein Riff, der mir spontan eingefallen ist, als ich das Video aufgenommen hab. Kein bestimmter Song :)
OK Jens. One last question here. Are you using any of the Boss gain or only the JVM gain?
Only the gain of the amp! The Boss just gave me delay and reverb in this clip!
That's the answer I was expecting. Great sounding amp. Lots of delays back when they were first coming out. I ordered and waited for months. I finally emailed Marshall and maybe by coincidence mine finally showed up about 2 weeks later. Life is good.
Hey buddy.what is the sound track name..it sounds bonamassa
Hey, it's called Going Down. I think it's from Freddie King..but there is a version with Bonamassa and some other cool dudes on UA-cam! :)

What delay pedal and settings are you using?
I used the Boss GT-100 for some delay and reverb. But can't remember the exact settings, sorry.
hi! what about the amp settings and the speakers cabinet? thnks!
Hey!
Volume around 6, Bass around 6, Mids around 4, Treble around 5 and Gain
at 6. Master Volume was at 5. I recorded it with a Marshall 4x12 1960AV.
Jens Ambrosch very loud! 😂😂👍 thnks mate!
What Channel and mode? Great playing. At that volume I am surprised the camera wasn't shaking;-)
I'm not quite sure but I guess it was OD1 in orange mod. That's basically my lead sound. Well...I think it was close :D
super klasse!!
Danke :)

Have you re tubed the amp??
Nope...everything is original! :)
Sounds so good man
How heavy is that Les Paul?
Pretty light. Around 3.5kg I would say.
@@JensAmbrosch wow nice.. I thought Les Pauls were really heavy. Thanks for the reply!
@@ze-ce.cra_ Well I guess yeah. But this one is chambered so it's really not that heavy.

Sounds a little too bassy to me.
who are JS??
That's the Joe Satriani Signature head :)
