I can’t believe for 2 years I’ve always come back to this specific playlist at hard times in my life, I search “calm dodie songs” and that perfect background makes me feel safe and at home. It’s always been here for me. From the ages 18 to now 20 this playlist just feels like my best friend. I’ve always needed someone with me or on the phone for me to fall asleep and whenever I’ve lost those people I know this is gonna be waiting for me. Please, never take this down. People have never been consistent in my life, this playlist has saved my life on more than one occasion. This may just be songs put together. But her voice, these songs. Thank you even though you posted this 2 years ago, thank you for making this. I owe you so much...

Fiona Maack mostly just calming stuff and a few louder songs that i find help drown out other noise/thoughts. the playlist helps but sometimes it’s difficult to access because i’m always so flustered while panicking. if somebody is there to remind me to put it on, it’s usually good.

sick of losing soulmates was a song I listened to a lot in a bad time in my life, and I have a lot of sad memories attached to it, and yet it's still so comforting to me. But with I Exist I Exist I Exist by Flatsound, A song that also has bad memories attached to it from a separate but equally tough time, When I hear it I feel distressed and uncomfortable. I Love I Exist, and I feel like I ruined it by attatching those memories to it

That song hurtttttts. It expresses in words and atmosphere this feeling I get when it’s undeniable that something wrong is happening while trying to makes sense and the best of it. I listen to it sometimes and feel that, but other times I just feel comforted that someone else feels it too.

Human, when, and sick of losing soulmates are some of the only things that got me through a really bad time in my life. When I hear those songs now, I get a little sad remembering why I used to just listen to them on repeat and cry but they’re still beautiful and I still love them. I love dodie so much I honestly don’t know what I would do without her or her songs ♡

I've listened to "Novels" about a thousand times and could never decide my feelings towards it....I have just confirmed that I am in love with that song. Especially this version. The harmonies, the blending, the combination of Dodie's and Rusty's voice. I love them so much and this song is so beautiful I might cry.

Just stunning. I listen to this whenever I have a panic attack, and also almost every night to fall asleep. I will never get tired of these same songs over and over. There is just something beautiful about consistency. I am so grateful for this video (and the lack of ads between songs) because it has helped me so so many times.

To those that are asking why certain songs weren’t on there- if I’m incorrect, I’m pretty sure this is only original songs? Only songs that Dodie made. Unlike la vie un rose (I’m not sure how it’s spelt), which is a cover. And I don’t know if songs from other channel count, or songs created by other people and she featured in it? I’m pretty sure that’s also a rule that applies to this list. :)
