So, I graduate High school in about a week. This playlist has honestly gotten me through a lot- lonely bus rides to a terrifying place, walks home during times when I wanted nothing more than to run away, or nights when I just wanted to be alone. But I also played it in good times, cleaning my room and picking myself up after dealing with a lot of depression, sharing it with my girlfriend after I got outed to my family, and we just sat and listened together while we held each other close. This playlist is so so dear to my heart, thank you so much for making it. It has been with me in all of these turbulent times filled with teen angst and drama XD From the bottom of my heart, thank you

Honestly the title really hits hard, I've had episodes of depression and have pretty much constantly had suicidal thoughts since I was in 5th grade. I'm 19 about to be 20 now. To be honest it's been getting weird... to the point where I haven't thought of myself as a normal human in years. So the title is exspecially nice.

The one time I’ve actually felt like a ghost was when I went to a music festival two hours away from where I lived, by myself. None of my friends dig the music I listen to and my family had other plans. The festival took place on a Main Street . All the bars, cafes, and brewery’s each had different musicians playing all day long. I really enjoyed the music and would hop from place to place while catching a buzz. I had a good time. However, I couldn’t fully appreciate it because there was no one to enjoy it with. No one to talk about what bands rocked and which musicians stood out. I ended up going home earlier than I expected because when I’d see everyone else laughing and talking among one another I started to feel further away from home. There I was just a face. No name or purpose.
that was beautiful. I feel what you feel as I do have friends but I never felt like I've found 'my people' and its something im struggling to come to terms with. On the one hand I'm trying to find peace in solitude and be satisfied with my own company as I move through the world. But on the other hand, I keep thinking that maybe, deep down as humans we just aren't supposed to be alone. Maybe we were meant to be understood, loved etc and I'm just unlucky.

My father passed away July 19, 2022.. I remembered when I was a kid, we're dancing waltz with his favorite old music in the living room, he also always combing my hair when I woke up or before going to school... The one time I’ve actually felt like a ghost was when I went to a music festival two hours away from where I lived, by myself. None of my friends dig the music I listen to and my family had other plans. The festival took place on a Main Street . All the bars, cafes, and brewery’s each had different musicians playing all day long. I really enjoyed the music and would hop from place to place while catching a buzz. I had a good time. However, I couldn’t fully appreciate it because there was no one to enjoy it with. No one to talk about what bands rocked and which musicians stood out. I ended up going home earlier than I expected because when I’d see everyone else laughing and talking among one another I started to feel further away from home. There I was just a face. No name or purpose.
Wow I can really relate so much to this, I feel this way all the time. Especially when I'm surrounded by crowds of people.

that was beautiful. I feel what you feel as I do have friends but I never felt like I've found 'my people' and its something im struggling to come to terms with. On the one hand I'm trying to find peace in solitude and be satisfied with my own company as I move through the world. But on the other hand, I keep thinking that maybe, deep down as humans we just aren't supposed to be alone. Maybe we were meant to be understood, loved etc and I'm just unlucky.

My father passed away July 19, 2022.. I remembered when I was a kid, we're dancing waltz with his favorite old music in the living room, he also always combing my hair when I woke up or before going to school...
