I do love the IH Farmall 1206. I do love the Ford tractors the most, as i grew up with New Holland when i was young. In other words, as I'm loyal to NH, I'm also loyal to Ford, Fiat and Case IH. Case IH is the sister brand to New Holland since Fiat acquired both brands
+ChiefAUS that would be neat. They just line up the way they arrive at the local high school parking lot. Most of the tractors roll in 30 minutes or less before the parade.
I'm not sure they do it anymore but you should check out when the all colors tractor club does the tractor drive over the Mackinac Bridge that is really something to be seen.
Some folks may not know that most of those John Deeres were built just 60 miles west of Dyersville. I was raised on a number of those Farmalls then worked at Deere when I grew up.. : )
They are a narrow front. A majority of the tractors in the corn belt from 1923 to about 1965 were narrow or tricycle front models. This wheel set up was handy for cultivating corn and for mounting two row corn pickers on the tractors. After 1965 combines quickly replaced tractor mounted pickers and the need for bigger bigger tractors saw the narrow front option go away. The last narrow front tractors were built in theb1970's.
+Ford Farming I am a big Ford fan. My Toy Tractor Times Magazine is making 2,500 1/64 Ford 9000s this year. With so many tractors in the parade I highlighted the rare and larger horse power models. Tractors like the Farmall M, 4020 and 8n are common so I did not narrate every one. I would love to see a Ford 8000, FW-60, TW-35 in the parade and I would have talked 5 minutes about how great it was to see it.
I like your tractor parades

why did some of the tractors have their front tires that close to eachother

Did the Oliver with the Detroit diesel come from the factory like that or did the owners swap engines?
Oliver used Detriot engines for 20 years on their big tractors from the 99 to the 1950.
Anyone know if he is coming to penfield, IL this weekend ?
+DW Dolphin BTP has made it to Penfield yet. We will be at Rantoul. .

what are the poeple chucking out of the tractors
Candy

New Holland must hire a consultant to make there tractors as ugly as possible.
how do the tractors with the front wheels very close together behave in very soft/muddy ground
also, great video
