@@juliemccauslin5038 how did Kevin ruin the show? Because he had other obligations and his career didn’t solely revolve around 1 gig??? He was acting in and producing his own films, you can’t blame a man for continuing to better himself and further his career.
@natwee913 no - Costner created other obligations and, by contract, forced Sheridan's hand in delaying the show. It's also possible the strike got in the way too. Don't be such a Costner fan that it blinds you from facts
Well, we are not going to know for sure until we all see it this Sunday. We would not want the ending spoiled. I have not see a confirmation from Paramount and Taylor Sheridan comfirming a season 6, so it's still the series finale, until further notice. There are a lot of things in this series that were not answered, but probably not important. Since John's murderer has already been killed, then John's death has been avenged. This last episode should not leave us with cliff hangers. That would be so wrong and no need to kill anybody else off the show. They have gotten a lot accomplished since John passed, how long has he been at the morgue. No more bs, Sheridan. Get to the nitty gritty. We need closure. Last episode was not boring, it was necessary. The assassin's identity can not be revealed because of the deal that they made. Leave that alone. This episode needs to show John's funeral, Kacey's plan to save the ranch and transfer it to Rainwater, while keeping their piece of heaven at East Camp and a good outcome with the taxes, so they can be free and clean. Jamie needs to redeem himself and do the right thing, for his legacy and his son's and take Christine's advice. He needs to prove that Sarah Atwood was the murderer and he was not involved. Even though she is dead and they believe she did it, it needs to be shown and case closed. Jamie needs to help his family secure the land once and for all and prove Market Equities was behind it. After all, they used Jamie as their pawn and Sarah used him and manipulated him and lied to him. Prove that the conservation easement can never be overturned and the deal with Kacey and Rainwater goes through. The prophecy needs to happen. No more lies Jamie. Jamie proves that Sarah did it and he was not involved and the corrupt new govenor is exposed. Jamie redeems himself and he and Beth call a treuse. Nothing more to be gained by war. Beth does not go after Jamie's son, the child is innocent and she has Carter. Jamie has kept the families secrets for years, he has secrets himself and no reason to tell them. Beth just wants to control him and have something to hold over him. The families secrets don't have anything to do with John's death, but Beth keeps feeding the news media with bs about Jamie and his involvement with Sarah and Market Equities with lies, pushing him and making the situation worse. Somebody needs to straighten her out. Ok, once and for all, who is to blame for what and take responsibility, cause technically, Jamie was not involved. Lets see what the FBI found in Sarah's office, get rid of ME and the pipeline. Beth and Rip can do something else and the ranch hands will find other work. I will miss Yellowstone and Luke Grimes is my favorite character. He would make a great patriarch of the show.
Taylor -- talented writer/creatojr but the biggest ego to try and make himself some kind of relevant character in the last few episodes of Yellowstone. Do not do it again -- just cringy. Sheridan created iconic characters - John in particular. Taylor inserting himself into the series -- just spoiled an otherwise remarkable story and characters.
I am glad Sheridan didn't actually show up in the auction footage last episode. His misogynistic b.s.earlier with Beth really made me queasy. And the way Rip is all chatty when Beth gets home, about why he is friends with him, was SO OUT OF CHARACTER for Rip. He said more in that scene than the entire history of the show. I also wonder if Jamie just kills himself? Yes he is a huge coward, but maybe...
This whole series was great until the pissing contest which ruin everything in my opinion. There are many fine actors and actresses who were totally disregarded because of a writer and producer pissing contest. Excellent series shitty ending.
yellowstone BLEW IT. i lost interest when they did not take the show in the direction of starting another company of selling their own beef,, why , because there was an episode where BETH called another ranch that was also selling steaks and other beef things and she did that to sell them their cattle from yellowstone to help pay some of yellowstones debt, when she found out how much they were selling their stakes for, she went back into the house and told her dad john senior , she said ,I made money for other people now she was going to make money for him, WE the TV show audience , never saw anything after that about yellowstone going into the steak selling buziness and the ranch start making money, after that i say the ranch gets what it deserves , they should lose the ranch for not going in that direction, the show was great while it lasted, it was a mix of GUNSMOKE, THE BIG VALLEY, BONANZA AND THE VIRGINIAN all rolled into 1... i hope some of their spin offs are just as good
That, the fact that we never saw anything about the "getting as big as the KING name" thing, that Beth talked about selling to the 6666's but then supposedly having forgotten the ranches name when being stopped on her way there, and for me personally, that Lucky was never a topic again. What happened to needing a horsey so badly, Tate?
Some body is getting thrown of the edge at the Train station. I believe Mo is doing ceremony for John. Taylor just can't do this alone he needs the guidance of an elder. Like Costner you can really tell he is not there.
Then james dutton said in 7 generations ill give it back, so its going back to the Indians for sure, i think kacey, monica, & tate stay on that piece of land , and beth and rip will buy a ranch in texas, just my thoughts

Sheridan ruin a good show with his ego. He owns the 6666 ranch. That's his focus. Costner didn't quit. Sheridan fired him. His ego was too fragile to be around Costner.
I don't think I can watch something happen to the Duttons that actually did happen to so many of my farm and ranching neighbors in the 70s and 80s. A farm auction is worse than a funeral.
Jamie must go to the train station! I'll be watching to see what the outcome will be for all. Yellowstone must remain a ranch and the land preserved for the rightful owners. Resorts, airports, and the like have no place on reservation land.
Was coming to say the same! Rainwater and Moe had stated that they couldn't build a pipeline without any pipe, so when I saw that scene in the trailer I figured Moe and his crew were there to destroy it. 😊
There are some parts of this season that are pretty good, episode 13 wasnt one. I dont care anything about what going on the Texas. If i have to see one more horse slide in the dirt or spin in a circle i may scream. Ive never in my life see anyone who's ever needed to do that on a horse. Its stupid. Big whup. The governor of Montana has been murdered. And we watching horses spin. There is an investigation going on we need to be a part of. And you cannot tell me that the governor of Montana would be laid to rest without lying in state at the capitol, and a huge state funeral. That just does not happen. Why would they not have the proper respect paid to him. They have wasted so much time on stuff that doesnt even matter. Its like they had to give camera time to everyone whose ever been in the show. And really they couldve made a whole other season just trying to figure out who killed John Dutton. Theyre about to arrest Jamie and John hasnt even been buried. And who knows how much time has passed because they just bounce back and forth between past and present with no warning. Why do we need flashbacks at all. Just put it in order. Why did they even send them to Texas just to sell them? Thats a huge waste of money right there. All that trucking. Ridiculous. That land is still leased. In the end, all John Dutton accomplished was screwing his kids out of the land and any money for it. Now they wont have anything.
this season was advertised as the last all season long, UNTIL, the last couple of episodes it has been advertised as the SEASON finale, instead of the SERIES finale. there is a lot that can be done with this show without John Dutton. Beth and Rip and Kayce have been the best characters for the entire series run. if you had the input from some OTHER writers who are familiar with the show, it could go on for a few more years. i will not be watching the new series land man, nothing about it appeals to me, and i will not be watching the Four 6's either. it just doesnt appeal to me either. honestly Yellowstone was hard for me to watch at first, i hated Beths character, but then after watching for a while, i understood why she is the way she is.
If Jamie is in a car driving fast, could be car is rigged to wreck... then again there's the suv on fire. Could be he's racing to save his baby's mom in suv. Maybe being in car is one scene, then suv scene his demise...
