When he first started to describe the Gumball Rally I thought, this isn't "disgusting", but then he continued...
I love how mad Steve O would get when they would wake him up during the rally.
They called him Sleep-O all episode i think.

That gumball episode is my favorite thing jackass ever did (I love it all) I felt like I was on the road trip with them lol seeing the (polish?) Hookers, the kid kicking jeff in the nuts, driving around the funeral procession. I just love it!
That really was a fun episode and that was my first exposure to the Gumball Rally which had its own insane cast of characters like Kim Schmitz and the two guys that dressed up like German police officers (the same ones that briefly held the record for fastest Cannonball Run here in the States), or that one guy with dreads that you could tell was on speed. Seeing all those high dollar cars was absolutely beautiful as well. What an episode.
The audacity of them to not show one single load.
I purchased the Gumball Special years ago and it still sits digitally on my 360. Good times!!

I was more bummed about the music edits on the DVD collection. The original song from the London trek was “The Nobodies” by MM and when Pontius started cruising on the scooter at the Latvian border it was “Real American” by Rick Derringer. I have all the proof on a VCD (remember those?) somewhere on a spindle in the closet.

@@audiofiil Not sure which city it was but "The Nobodies" was somewhere in the original TV aired version and was swapped for the DVD collection. So were all the bits with Knoxville using crutches after his failed Snake River jump like "Squid Suit."

I don't know these guys personally, so I'm not going to speak on their particular situation. But I did work in Hollywood for many years, and I can tell you one thing for sure. Almost every partnership has their friendship dissolve before their partnership does. I think you can see it pretty clearly with Rhett and Link, for example. When you get all that money and all that Fame and ego, it's very hard to maintain authentic relationships. With anyone. Having said that, age mellows just about everyone out. You live, you learn, you forgive, you let shit go. I'm sure they're still pretty close.

@@saulspeaks2557 I think it's the Penn and Teller thing. Where they made a business decision not hang around with each other outside work, as they know being around would eventually lead to them hating each other.
I may be wrong, but I think the Jackass team have something similar. I don't think it would be as much a conscious decision as P&T, but I think they know that they would probably drive each other crazy if they hung out outside of work a lot.
I also remember a Viva LaBam episode where Bam says he hadn't heard from Johnny in a year.
I think they care deeply for each other, like family. True friends and family drift but they know there is a bond.

I am a zookeeper in chicago and I regularly feed the hippos day old sausages so they have a taste of their home. I put strings on the sausages and swing them around the hippos they get so mad at me and scream but it's an obsession sometimes the hippos try and break out of their cages but I keep swinging those hotdogs in wide circles over their heads. Luckily my boss doesn't know I do this or my coworkers
