What's your favorite style ?
I love your non-fussy, straight forward direction. That you explain why you are doing something...when you have experimented and found what has worked for you and what didn’t. And your reminding us “not to beat yourself up”, “do what makes you happy”, and words like “wonky”! That you love the “organic” look and are not trying to achieve perfection, but you care that your work you will be selling is going to hold up and perform! I mostly love your individuality, starting with your lovely pink hair! I love how you think outside the box. I love that you give so much thought into the production of your videos....so many things on the internet are just some person turning on a camera and talking ...with no planning, no editing, no thought...and can make a 90 minute video on something that if it were well planned and well edited would take 10 minutes. I don’t know how to make videos or upload them, but I can tell yours are well planned and well edited before you post them. I expect that can be a lot of work.
My fav is the pod beads.
The necklace! I would have never combined these beads, but it looks gorgeous! 🧡
I LOVE the beads made with the leaf canes.
Oh gosh, the tassles! Well, the pods to use in the tassels I should say.
When I. Worry about the way my beads come out I say Susan says don’t worry..whatever makes you happy..your attitude is so great. You would make a great councilor..but you are so talented and I can’t wait to give some of the piecesI I bought for my family for Christmas this year .We all need a lift now. Thanks Susan..
Love the way you work allowing your creativity to flourish…beautiful work.
Oh Susan I love the tassel
I love chunky jewelry- beautiful! Thanks for sharing and happy claying!
thank you so much for another nice idea, I LOVE those canes god bless xoxo
Omg that tassel is wonderful, I would love to be as talented as you! X
Oh my God you don't have idea jou l enjoy your videos!!
Thank you so much!! And God bless you forever !! You are me best therapists!!
Thank you 😊 for sharing ,love the beads
Absolutely fantastic!
That ending was so cute
I swear every time you post I'm blown away.
Totally agree with you
I really like that last purple Tassel,do you have a tutorial for a covered wooden bead tassel like that?...I have been looking so far no luck.... Thankyou for sharing all you do!...I Love your dog! I have a 60 pound standard poodle rescue (male) and a much older (blind) 1 1/2 pound silky yorky terrier rescue ( female)
...She is fiesty, and rules her younger brother with an "iron paw"! 😳 not mean,or snappy... just pushy, she makes him get out of her way!
I have never heard her bark, she just bops him with her nose, until he moves where she wants... and then sleeps all over him!
...He is very good at watching over her and he does not even mind that when he goes to his "snack" bowl, that she is usually sound asleep on the dry kibble!
...I take her out of the bowl, course,if I see her there!... but, he will just stand there or lie down, his nose next to the bowl, and wait for her to wake up and leave !
...Once he was fussing and came and got me, I followed him, and down the hall, she had fallen into my old garden shoe and there was she was head down, bottoms up just wiggling her little butt like crazy, trying to get out!
( I put my shoes away, like I should have to begin with!😂...She is very nosey and loves to stick her nose into every corner and crevice. I do keep her confined to certain
Bigger areas, where she will not get hurt,as she loves to walk and check everything out.
..Luckyly,her big brother keeps a close eye on her every move!...I am home all day,and they are great company!....I think we can see who rescued who!🤓💜👍
Amazing video and great walkthrough! Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🙏🏻
Thank you Susan. These beads are beautiful!. I can see making some for Christmas ornaments as well as jewelry. I look forward to your videos every week!
Great minds think alike!!!! Very nice! Insert them with memory wire and use them around the neck of wine glasses!!! Your work is beautiful Susan!
Great idea tfs!
Susan, You've done it again. Just unbelievably beautiful. I don't think I have a favorite. I love them all. I like your chunky necklace...so pretty and a great accent for that blouse. Thank you, as always.
I always loved your vids I do all art modes so I’m back to working w polymer clay and air dry clay ! Thanks
Susan, Susan, Susan....you've done it again. Another perfectly crafted tutorial on how to use imperfection to make the perfect project. I love the randomness you use to craft, I craft similarly, No measuring necessary. Beautifully done. Love this so much!
Beautiful beads, thank you
Wow! Never thought about wood beads. Excellent ideas come streaming out of that creative brain of yours. TFS. ❤️
I love this video. Someone gave me a bunch of "junk jewelry" that has some scratched up wooden beads. Now I won't toss the poor trees! Lol. The ending was too cute!
I love this! Great ending by the way! 😍
So clever and gorgeous!
Absolutely love these beads... very clever and artistic xx 😘 thank you ☺️
You have me hooked on gold leaf it's so pretty and I love it sparkly
Susan, I love you and your videos. I truly wish you would do a video on your history of creating and how you got started up to now. I really want to hear your story and find out how you became the incredible artist you are. I think it would inspire a lot of us and we get to know more about you. Much love and thank you for always sharing your work.
Love these , just awesome ❣️❣️❣️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💗💗💗 thank you 😊
Hi Susan, Thanks for the great idea! I have made bigger beads before, using a lot of clay. This will save a lot of clay. Love the chunky necklace on you!
Thanks for sharing, Patty
Well, I was just thinking about how to make bigger beads.....and you presented the perfect solution! Thank you so much for sharing! It is so fun to watch your tutorials! 😍😍😍
Susan you are unique and I love the simplicity of this tutorial. I have covered some wood beads already but yours are amazing as usual. Don't ever stop showing us that you don't have to be a experienced clayed to make good stuff
Awesome as Always! Thank you ❤🤩you are a true inspiration, you learned me so much! Thank you - Shine on 🙏🥰❤🤩👏 Greetings from Norway 😊
The turquoise fantasy leaf cane is just beautiful! I definitely have to make that one!
Thank You Susan! Love your creative energy and your beautiful beads! You are an inspiration. You are one hard working gal.
My favorite style is Bohemian. That's why Im so in love with your work. To me it's all BoHo and beautiful. I love the big chunky necklace and your tassel. You do beautiful work thank you for sharing it with us.
Oh my gosh! How much fun! I have a mountain of wooden beads sitting in my craft supplies. What a brilliant idea to cover them with clay. You're always right on time for the weekend when I dive into clay mode and hardly come up for air. I have lots & lots of tiny leftover cane pieces this would be a fantastic use for. Thank you so much for yet another inspirational video to brighten our lives.
These are so beautiful. Your canes are so pretty, love them.
Love love these Susan, you’re so incredibly talented! Thanks for all your wonderful tutorials 💕
Your canes are always so gloriously colorful.
Simply wonderful! I’ve been wanting to make larger beads and this is perfect! I so look forward to every one of your videos. Your instruction is always so straight forward and simple, always showing the necessary detail but never wasting time by speeding up the repetitive parts. Your editing is simply fantastic. I never find myself “fast forwarding” through your videos to get to “the good stuff”....with you, it’s all “good stuff”! Thank you so much for everything you do to make these videos so enjoyable. Love your style Susan!
I just made several of these using bits of canes I had laying around. I made tassels using the pod beads I made ( wood bead core). I'm beyond excited about how these are turning out. I'm using the bigger ones on my drapery tie back hooks to add that special touch. The smaller ones I made to use as pulls for lamps and ceiling fans. I see lots more of these in my future. These are so quick, easy and such fun to make! Thank you Susan.
Wonderful video. You rocked that, well done. I love the look of a silk thread necklace but not literally. I've been wondering about covering wooden beads in clay. Now I know. Thank you.
These are so beautiful once again. I love your style, and when you say “do what makes you happy”. Love everything you make, everything is always so different and beautiful. ❤️
You're the best! Always enjoy and learn from your videos.
Thanks so much. God bless🇺🇸
You make the most beautiful canes. I tried to make a flower cane it was very muddy. But I’m new to this. Hopefully it gets better.
These beads are so,so beautiful Susan!! I loooove your work, tfs
xx
Vicky
Oh wow...thank you for sharing...everything you create is beautiful...
Those are pretty thin slices - how long do you bake the beads?
I really like this idea. What about us non-caner people? How would this work with veneers? Would it distort it too much? BTW - Er Mah Gerd that tassel creation is the bomb!
Good question. I am thinking you could cut circle or leaf shapes out of your veneer and then apply like slices. I'm gonna try that. Have fun!
Looks so easy when you do stuff. I guess it is those 30 years of practic. I have made mud of my first batch of clay trying to do Skinner blend LOL
One super talented lady!! Absolutely love your tutorials, many thanks :)
This is mind-blowing! If I ever try polymer clay, it would be thanks to you :)
Thank you very much susan
👏👏👏
I love all the gold foil you apply on all your projects. It is your signature...It is soooo beautiful and feminine !!!
I just love this. I love how you can connect to so many of your tutorials to make the different designs you have shown us. You can use them all here. I love it!! I love how your necklace turns out in the end, but my favorite colors are in the one with the tassels you mentioned you would use with a lamp. I think this would be a great bead at the bottom of a necklace. This just gives me so many ideas. Thanks again!!!
Susan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Another fabulous tutorial once again!!!! Thank you so much for keeping women on the verge like me going!!!! ❤❤❤
Love watching your video’s,Thankyou ❤️
My gosh...I think I have a bucket full of these somewhere...lol! I am seeing the tassel style as a Christmas ornament. Love the close to this video!! Brilliant! We see you!, the necklace modeled and Abu.
S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G those conical beads would look really cool if they were bigger still and made into curtain pole finials.
Love this idea. You are so creative..............tifs.
I'm fascinated with you work. It is amazing and beautiful.
Hi Susan, as always, I admire your creativity, ingenuity and beauty of colors. I don't know myself what's the most beautiful in your work. I think everything. Thank you very much:)))
So smart!! Thank you for all your inspiring videos 🥰
oooh I have the remnants of 3 bead curtains which I dumpster-dived for many years ago - used a lot of them with Girl Guides but I still have a heap left. Nice!
Hi Susan! You're videos are so great. I have a suggestion of something I'd love to see you make. I am a biig fan of incense sticks, I burn them all the time, I would absolutely loooove to see you make an incense stick holder to catch the ashes that fall. Please please consider that idea!! Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider my suggestion 🤩🤩
Such fun! I look forward to your great tutorials. 😊
It's me again, I hope these beautiful beads will be available in your shop.
Beautiful necklace in the end. Perfect with your coloring too. Abu seemed very happy about it also. Not! LOL Don't you love the facial expressions that Chihuahuas give? 💜
So much love for this inspired video!!
I’m totally with you on the laid back approach to layout and measuring... organic is beautiful 🥰
Beautiful work thanks for share!!
I look forward to every Thursday!
Do you let the liquid clay dry a bit before adding the clay?
Oooooo. Wowie. Summore beautiful beadies...
That's a great idea and I LOVE your work!
GORGEOUS, as usual!!!! Thank you!
😍 Wow! With your gorgeous canes, each bead is a work of art! Your production and editing skills get better with every video! Thank you!

I LOVE this Susan. Great idea. I never thought of this.
Beautiful! I love these. 😍😇😎
You really made me laugh when you said, " And that's great..I'm not part of that crowd" probably because that hits home with me..The beads are amazing as usual. Great idea with the wood. That tassel bead is magnificent ..Thank you again.
That's because I'm not into lots of tools , that money is better spent on clay lol
@@TurtleSoupBeads Your work is really amazing. It's so satisfying to work with your hands..besides my fur babies it's about the only thing keeping me sane.
Yezzz Susan love me some new videos ♥️♥️♥️
Fab technique, and awesome job on the edit - love the continuous music behind the voice, and the cut scene at the end. Sterling stuff :)
You have out done yourself once again. Thanks for another great tutorial. I love the bigger beads.

I. Love. Them. Awesome idea. Thank you.
Loads of inspiration with a happy-bluesy sound track!
Always inspired by your videos and wonderful ideas! Since I never seem to have enough ugly scraps for filling beads, this is a great idea! My favorite style - anything that you make!!
awesome Idea,, thanks Susan excellent
Thank you Susan 😊 💓 ☺
Susan! 🥰 I love these! I can't wait to see more jewelry pieces created with these in them!
Beautiful and inspiring as usual!
I love chunky jewelry too!
I'm so glad you didn't do this video sooner, a few weeks ago I finished covering 4 thousand metal spacers and they turned out perfect! Now I have to figure out how to sell them as I'm semi retired from craft shows but am active at Bonanza and eBay...I might not have tried what I did...if I'd seen this video...thanks so much for being my inspiration and mentor!
@Devra I would love to see what you've made ! 4000! Wow
I'd love to see what you made too! So many great ideas in "Susan's Virtual Studio Space" ^..^~~~
