I love your non-fussy, straight forward direction. That you explain why you are doing something...when you have experimented and found what has worked for you and what didn’t. And your reminding us “not to beat yourself up”, “do what makes you happy”, and words like “wonky”! That you love the “organic” look and are not trying to achieve perfection, but you care that your work you will be selling is going to hold up and perform! I mostly love your individuality, starting with your lovely pink hair! I love how you think outside the box. I love that you give so much thought into the production of your videos....so many things on the internet are just some person turning on a camera and talking ...with no planning, no editing, no thought...and can make a 90 minute video on something that if it were well planned and well edited would take 10 minutes. I don’t know how to make videos or upload them, but I can tell yours are well planned and well edited before you post them. I expect that can be a lot of work.
oooh I have the remnants of 3 bead curtains which I dumpster-dived for many years ago - used a lot of them with Girl Guides but I still have a heap left. Nice!
I really like that last purple Tassel,do you have a tutorial for a covered wooden bead tassel like that?...I have been looking so far no luck.... Thankyou for sharing all you do!...I Love your dog! I have a 60 pound standard poodle rescue (male) and a much older (blind) 1 1/2 pound silky yorky terrier rescue ( female) ...She is fiesty, and rules her younger brother with an "iron paw"! 😳 not mean,or snappy... just pushy, she makes him get out of her way! I have never heard her bark, she just bops him with her nose, until he moves where she wants... and then sleeps all over him! ...He is very good at watching over her and he does not even mind that when he goes to his "snack" bowl, that she is usually sound asleep on the dry kibble! ...I take her out of the bowl, course,if I see her there!... but, he will just stand there or lie down, his nose next to the bowl, and wait for her to wake up and leave ! ...Once he was fussing and came and got me, I followed him, and down the hall, she had fallen into my old garden shoe and there was she was head down, bottoms up just wiggling her little butt like crazy, trying to get out! ( I put my shoes away, like I should have to begin with!😂...She is very nosey and loves to stick her nose into every corner and crevice. I do keep her confined to certain Bigger areas, where she will not get hurt,as she loves to walk and check everything out. ..Luckyly,her big brother keeps a close eye on her every move!...I am home all day,and they are great company!....I think we can see who rescued who!🤓💜👍
I love this video. Someone gave me a bunch of "junk jewelry" that has some scratched up wooden beads. Now I won't toss the poor trees! Lol. The ending was too cute!
Susan, Susan, Susan....you've done it again. Another perfectly crafted tutorial on how to use imperfection to make the perfect project. I love the randomness you use to craft, I craft similarly, No measuring necessary. Beautifully done. Love this so much!
Thank you so much for this demo. I had tried something like this years ago, but it did not turn out very well. I did not use liquid clay on the wooden bead. You have just made my day. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Susan, I love you and your videos. I truly wish you would do a video on your history of creating and how you got started up to now. I really want to hear your story and find out how you became the incredible artist you are. I think it would inspire a lot of us and we get to know more about you. Much love and thank you for always sharing your work.
I love, love, love, love, love, looooove these tutorials. Your creations are wonderful and whimsical.... Your amazing! I really enjoy your tutorials and your beads.
Thank you Susan. These beads are beautiful!. I can see making some for Christmas ornaments as well as jewelry. I look forward to your videos every week!
I just started making polymer clay beads yesterday lol. I'm hooked! Your beads are so beautiful. Very inspirational, as I also love nature and anything ornately decorated.
Susan, You've done it again. Just unbelievably beautiful. I don't think I have a favorite. I love them all. I like your chunky necklace...so pretty and a great accent for that blouse. Thank you, as always.
Susan, I want to thank you so very much for the inspiration! I have tried working with polymer clay for a couple of years now. After binge watching (More than Netflix) your videos, I get it. I finally understand. I cannot wait for you to come back, but please take as much time to get 'you' back to where you need to be. Much love and prayers your way!!
My gosh...I think I have a bucket full of these somewhere...lol! I am seeing the tassel style as a Christmas ornament. Love the close to this video!! Brilliant! We see you!, the necklace modeled and Abu.
I just love you !!!! You are my “very favorite” polymer clay artist (instructor). I have learned so much from watching you create beautiful unique beads and jewelry in your videos. You are the one who has inspired me to take up this craft. I have done lots of different crafts over the span of my life, sewing, embroidery, crocheting, jewelry, resin, lamp making and many other things - so I am very happy that I found you and can now add polymer clay to my list and use it in combination with my jewelry making. Just wanted to “thank you” from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to make these wonderful tutorials and sharing them with all of us !!! You are precious !!!! Your friend from Tennesse, Debora
I have Cerebral Palsy and Autism and so I struggle with coordination and evenness, so this video put me at more relaxing with it. The making of items with clay is good for my fine skills to help strengthen them, but the frustration of not getting it perfect because of the handicap was discouraging and heartbreaking for me. Then I seen this, and I have a new outlook and I bet no 2 of mine will ever turn out the same even if I try. i struggle trying to make canes yet and I live on a very limited income so affording clay at times is a struggle, but I am not giving up.
You really made me laugh when you said, " And that's great..I'm not part of that crowd" probably because that hits home with me..The beads are amazing as usual. Great idea with the wood. That tassel bead is magnificent ..Thank you again.
@@TurtleSoupBeads Your work is really amazing. It's so satisfying to work with your hands..besides my fur babies it's about the only thing keeping me sane.
Susan you are unique and I love the simplicity of this tutorial. I have covered some wood beads already but yours are amazing as usual. Don't ever stop showing us that you don't have to be a experienced clayed to make good stuff
Always inspired by your videos and wonderful ideas! Since I never seem to have enough ugly scraps for filling beads, this is a great idea! My favorite style - anything that you make!!
Hi Susan, as always, I admire your creativity, ingenuity and beauty of colors. I don't know myself what's the most beautiful in your work. I think everything. Thank you very much:)))
Well, I was just thinking about how to make bigger beads.....and you presented the perfect solution! Thank you so much for sharing! It is so fun to watch your tutorials! 😍😍😍
What's your favorite style ?

I LOVE the beads made with the leaf canes.
Oh gosh, the tassles! Well, the pods to use in the tassels I should say.
