Thanks for showing us Justin! Let us know when you need a new filter and it's on us!
I don't think you mentioned which metals you were talking about. It is important to know your metal. For example, a chop saw works great on mild steel, soso on tool steel. Try and cut aluminum, and the disc will clog then shatter. A carbide wood cutting blade with lots of teeth would be a better choice.
Well that shouldn't be hard to do but oh sh_t we do have people that don't know a lot of anything these day's.......
Sometimes people are just kids too starting out
Just picked up some defiant metal tig gloves…I am never going back! They are the best by far that I have tried!
I know this is just a beginner video, but I still like to watch all the videos you post; because I've literally never thought to WD40 my drop doors. Such a good idea. I know that a lot of the places I've worked for probably don't know this. This was actually a good sponsor for a product I already use.
That was one of the recommended uses so that’s why I did it. That door used to kind of jerk and make all kinds of noises and all that stopped after I lubed everything.
I know WD 40 is good for alot of stuff. The best thing I've used for door rollers is PB blaster garage door lubricant
JV very nice and most definitely very informative and helpful video this week my friend. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Thanks Jared

Great Video! I would add for the vertical bandsaws wood only saws run a much faster blade speed. There are dual metal/wood bandsaws but they are usually built stronger and have a slow speed option for cutting metal and you need to change over to a metal specific blade.
I’ve been thinking of buying a chopsaw for metal. Is there any that you would recommend? I’m currently taking a TIG welding class and I have a project coming up which will be welding 16 gauge metal that I will have to cut myself into multiple pieces. Would you recommend a chopsaw or something else? By the way, I LOVE your gloves. I got my second pair of TIG gloves and I have the MIG gloves too which also work great for stick welding.
The most budget friendly is a chop saw and will do the job.
Thanks Justin now I know lil more. My education was for carpenter but now im making book and fixing land rovers. Did some building and so on.
Nice one.
Cheers. 🍻
Glad it helped some Al
