  • Moringa oleifera is the most widely cultivated species of the genus Moringa, which is also known as drumsticks tree because of its long and slender seed-pods. Once it is established, it is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree and widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical climates, meaning it likes hot weather. Moringa leaves and fruit is very rich in nutrients including protein. It is widely recommended by Ayurveda as it balances the Kapha and Pitta Doshas.

    Thank you for your videos ! Is it alright if we plant more than 1 sapling in a planter? Or ideally just one ? Also should this be taken indoors during winter in USA- zone 7b ?

    Very helpful presentstion. How tall will it grow in the big pot?
    Will it fruit drumsticks while in the pot? How long does it take? It is monsoon in Bangalore. Then winter. When should I grow? Where can I get healthy seeds? I would appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.

    • @EasyPeasyGardening
      @EasyPeasyGardening  4 роки тому

      It may grow to about six feet in pot. It may not grow too many drumsticks in pot though. Monsoon is the best time to plant it.

    • @EasyPeasyGardening
      @EasyPeasyGardening  2 роки тому

      It's hard to quantify. When plants are young, keep the soil moist. Once they grow 2 to 3 feet tall, you don't need to water much because they have tap root that goes deep down in the ground

      Water it only when the soil dries and also watch your plant. If the leaves start to flop, water it
