I'm a Black man and Asian women don't allow me to be oblivious to my race. I been to many Asian countries and the prettier they are and more value they have mean no kids....they tend to throw themselves at White guys. I can only think of a few Asian girls that I had as a girlfriend. The rest were Black White and Hispanic. I'm not allowed to be oblivious to my race and be racially neutral like you speak on and if you're honest you would say that a lot of it is socially conditioning within your race to women to not be with black men no matter how well to do and nice to parents we can be.

I appreciate this post. I've daten 2 Asian guys recently. The very Westernized Filipino guy was a typical American guy. It was like dating any other 20Something guy. The other guy is Japanese going to school here. He approached me in a very direct way which did work perfectly. He'd never dated a Black woman and I'd never dated a Japanese guy so it was new for both of us. I am VERY attracted to Asian guys, but I am rarely even spoken to by Asian men. In my opinion, some of the hottest men on the planet are Asian! If you're an Asian guy and you find a non-Asian female attractive PLEASE approach her! It's like they've been watching too many k-dramas or listening to kpop and jpop and they think "ohhh all Asian guys are like this! How can I even begin to describe me dating a strong black woman when I am just a small skinny Asian man? 3) Lack of blacks: In my area, there aren’t a lot of black people. Areas that are full of blacks are ostracized by communities as ghettos. 4) Stereotypes and reputation: This one is huge especially since shame and family representation is big in the Asian culture. You can trace a lot of Asian men behavior back to their parents. In the end, there are asian men who won’t date black woman and there are those who will. Just continue to be yourself and you’ll find someone.

Very Interesting..I do agree. Black women have a lot of unfair stereotypes against them. I never dated outside my race, but I am very open to interracial dating. I never had an Asian guy approach me but there aren't many Asian guys in my area to begin with. I feel when approaching a girl, it is more important to know what her standards are rather then focus on her race, social status, etc. You never know if you don't try and you should not assume everything you hear and every experience you have applies to every girl. All girls are not the same regardless of what race they are.

Filipinos are a different group though, and from my understanding they're more receptive to dating blacks, hispanics and other pacific islanders. They relate to blacks and hispanics more than groups like Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, etc. because a lot of filipinos come from very humble backgrounds like blacks and hispanics.

Though I know that AMBW/BWAM couples are extremely rare, it still hurts to hear it and to know the reasons why. The Fung Bros covered this topic on their channel, and although they were as "PC" as possible, with every word they said, you could just feel the underlying it's-ok-for-other-guys-but-we-NEVER-would" sentiment and it was so disheartening. This guy once said to me, "Wow, I thought all Black women were just loud, obnoxious and bossy. But you're not like that". I was like...thank you?? I'm thinking he spoke for most Asian guys (sigh). To clarify, when we say "easy and receptive Black women are to Asian men" we're referring more to the fact that you discriminate a lot less, or none at all, AGAINST Asian men that you might see a small percentage of white women do, or even Asian females will do against their own kind. In other words, it feels more like a level playing field. Confidence, charisma, and charm still have to be in play, but at least you ladies aren't using our race against us like other women. Lay Lay Brown Sadly AM/BW couples are uncommon here in England. I dated a few Asians here....mainly Indian/Pakistani guys though....it's never worked out..total waste of time. I find Asian men to be very attractive. Although I prefer when a man is direct with his approach, I like how the AM I've spoken to didn't have such a "show off" manner to it. I've been approached by so many Asian men it's not even funny. One time at wonderland and a whole group of Asian men tried to dance with me even though I was there with my Asian friend. On a side note I turned all of them down. Good interview. I would like to try to date, but now I am just too scared to do, because of the bad and ugly things that happened to many black women. Plus, we are viewed as "ugly", "angry", "unworthy", "not wife material", "unlovable", and "undeserving of love" just because of our race. For me, I love my black skin and 4C nappy, tightly coiled, woolly hair. If I don't get experience love from any kind of man, then I will just love me a whole lot more, and be mindful that my GOD loves me too. It's the commonality of the stigma that both black women and asian men get. So when we join forces we are stronger when united and it's a beautiful thing. We lift each other up because we understand each other's degradation society/media gives us.

Filipinos are a different group though, and from my understanding they're more receptive to dating blacks, hispanics and other pacific islanders. They relate to blacks and hispanics more than groups like Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, etc. because a lot of filipinos come from very humble backgrounds like blacks and hispanics.

Though I know that AMBW/BWAM couples are extremely rare, it still hurts to hear it and to know the reasons why. The Fung Bros covered this topic on their channel, and although they were as "PC" as possible, with every word they said, you could just feel the underlying it's-ok-for-other-guys-but-we-NEVER-would" sentiment and it was so disheartening. This guy once said to me, "Wow, I thought all Black women were just loud, obnoxious and bossy. But you're not like that". I was like...thank you?? I'm thinking he spoke for most Asian guys (sigh).
I hope this vid sheds a positive light on the subject and that AMBW/BWAM couples will soon be off the endangered species list lol. I am concerned, however, that your emphasis on how accepting we are of Asian men will be mis-translated as us being "easy". If so, let me assure you, that's not the case. In the words of EXO's song, we are "Black Pearls", and those who are wise do not "cast their pearls before swine". We may take a bit more work, but a truly great guy won't mind having to roll his sleeves up and dig a little deeper to find his unique treasure, for only he knows how brilliantly a Black Pearl shines is when it's carefully placed in the perfect setting.

To clarify, when we say "easy and receptive Black women are to Asian men" we're referring more to the fact that you discriminate a lot less, or none at all, AGAINST Asian men that you might see a small percentage of white women do, or even Asian females will do against their own kind. In other words, it feels more like a level playing field. Confidence, charisma, and charm still have to be in play, but at least you ladies aren't using our race against us like other women. I find Asian men to be very attractive. Although I prefer when a man is direct with his approach, I like how the AM I've spoken to didn't have such a "show off" manner to it. I think many BW misunderstand when an AM is interested because often we are accustomed to brash/hyper affronting approaches and are on guard much of the time. I've been approached by so many Asian men it's not even funny. One time at wonderland and a whole group of Asian men tried to dance with me even though I was there with my Asian friend. On a side note I turned all of them down. I'm a black woman and have been approached by a significant amount of men in my life the most recent person to hit on me was yesterday while I was on the freeway driving 80mph by a white man. My point being please don't stereotype us when you literally just said that you have only dated like two black women. Good interview. I would like to try to date, but now I am just too scared to do, because of the bad and ugly things that happened to many black women. Plus, we are viewed as "ugly", "angry", "unworthy", "not wife material", "unlovable", and "undeserving of love" just because of our race. For me, I love my black skin and 4C nappy, tightly coiled, woolly hair. If I don't get experience love from any kind of man, then I will just love me a whole lot more, and be mindful that my GOD loves me too. the only Asian guys that ever approach me are south Asian Indian. ......I always seem to be approached by Indian or west African guys the most.. 😂 some white guys might strike up convo and flirt but not completely come in a direct way. It's the commonality of the stigma that both black women and asian men get. So when we join forces we are stronger when united and it's a beautiful thing. We lift each other up because we understand each other's degradation society/media gives us.

These comments are harsh but I understand both sides. Where Im from......Virginia....As a black woman the dating pool can be shallow outside your race. Mostly when other races talk about woman they say...''for a black girl' ...reason why because they don't know black woman.Its insulting but where Im from its understandable unlike maybe someplace NY where interracial dating and understanding of culture is common....I never dated a Asian but find them very attractive and love the culture but I don't come in contact with them much...White men like me but seem very timid probably of cultural differences...This might sound racis on my part but because of cultural differences I have a hard time being around white woman for a long period of time...So if I date a white guy being around his female friends is a no go....Whenever I do date outside my race I make it clear I want children and need a understanding on how they feel knowing they would be raising a black man or woman.
