I love to cook and bake. I watch literally dozens of videos with a variety of cooks/bakers. No matter what I have tried before when I follow Sam's easy instructions my baked goods always come out perfect as I follow her recipes. She is so cute and bubbly and easy to follow. Love you, Sam. My Linzers are superb thanks to you.
One of my family’s favorites. Always a part of the holiday cookie tray. I like to coat the bottoms in either white or dark chocolate to keep the cookies crispy, with added bonus of a hint of chocolate. TYFS, stay safe and healthy everyone❤️Happy Holidays ❄️
Why didn't you add the cinnimon to your dry ingredients??? 🤔 Idk if it makes a difference. I've just never seen it done this way. 💁♀️ I know.... a little late to the party...
Hello Sam- I have a question for you. I have a lot of frozen salted butter that I’ve been buying when on sale for Christmas baking. Can these cookies be baked with salted butter? Maybe then cut down on the added salt? I’d love to know what you think. Thank you in advance. I LOVE YOUR SHOW!!
I have both light (aluminum) and dark pans that bake very differently in terms of baking time. Dark ones cook my baked goods faster. Do u bake on light coloured pans for 9 min or dark coloured?
I mostly use the gold one that you see in the video but the blue one didn't change the time at all. I may check them a minute earlier if your pan seems to cook faster. :)
Great video thanks, l am so glad that you didn't put eggs in the dough, because it kind lingers after you bake the cookies and it's a such delicate cookie well that's my preference nothing wrong adding eggs.
AWESOME 👍🏾👍🏾 Thank you very much for the video. We'll be making a lot of cookies this Christmas. Bringing back those memories of when I was younger. Thanks for using real ingredients. Take care.
The dough tends to break no matter if you keep dough for 30 mins or overnight also these cookies taste like shortbread am not getting any almond feel, perhaps almond flavor would enhance.
I would try to keep mixing it. Sometimes it takes a bit to get it mixed together. If that doesn't help there may be too much flour in the dough and there isn't really an easy way to fix that. :(
These look AMAZING! I love the little heart window and thank you so much for including nut free instructions. I have a family member with nut allergies and I usually substitute pumpkin seeds but it can be a gamble sometimes. 🥰

I love the sound of the chocolate bottoms! I'll definitely have to give that a try. :)
I liked your prettiest cookies!
I love it!!!!!!! Its look like delicious!!!
Thank you! :)
I know your stand mixer is super sad, but I (and I'm sure others) are glad to see you make these recipes with a hand mixer like some/many of us use.
That's great feedback! I do often wonder if people are upset when I use a stand mixer.
wow awesome job!
also if no one has ever told you before let me be the first to say
Jesus loves you ;)
My cookies never cooked golden brown and I baked the first batch at 15 min. :((( what did I do wrong ?
These look delicious 😋 Btw loving the earrings!
Thank you! :)

“I’m just using my hand mixer today”....😞

You can make these with salted butter just omit the salt. I hope you love the cookies! Great idea to freeze the butter! :)

Yum!!! PERFECT!!! We have a lot of jam leftover so this is a good way to use it. Do you have any other ideas to use jam?
I have thumbprint cookies that are really good with a jam filling as well. :)

They are meant to be shortbread-esque and aren’t supposed to taste like almond.
Thanks, I was looking to find a balance of both, anywys for the dough I was able to soften with adding some milk, it worked great. @@SugarSpunRun

My dough is a bit crumbly 🥺 how do I fix without ruining it?

@@SugarSpunRun I added a bit of milk and it helped! Made these for my work for our secret santa lunch and they were a massive hit :D
Eggless again I love you. Thank you
