@@timothyahn2006 he didn't mean to throw her leg in either. Yet with the background audio having laughter instead of disturbance. People would still laugh copying the laughter heard. Many comedy movies (Mary, Just married, etc) show a pet or animal getting hurt or killed and present it as funny. Logically it isnt funny.
The small details like Monica guessing about food and Phoebe about dogs are amazing!

@@mrf9893 The small detail is in the fact that the girls guessed those things because they are a core part of their personalities. Monica used to be overweight due to her obsession with food so that's where her mind immediately went, while Phoebe is an animal lover so she was immediately concerned for the dog.
Amazing how more than 25 years later the show is still a hit

I'll admit that it is definitely an awful accident to through somebody's prosthetic limb onto a fire, but the fact that Joey panicked and ran away made it a horrible thing. If he pulled the leg out of the fire, offered to pay for the damages or a new leg (which I know is probably pretty pricey), the situation might have still been upsetting, but at least have the potential for still being on good terms later down the road.

I have to admit until not too long ago I literally thought Ginger had a prosthetic leg BECAUSE Joey threw her real leg into the fire dragging her whole body along. I remember thinking, "wow Joey is STRONG", and "why on earth didn't Ginger call the cops on Joey or just straight up sue him" 🤣🤣🤣

Well, the dog would probably have squealed, leaped out of the fire and saved itself while likely also spraying Joey with flaming debris for his mistake, whereas the expensive leg just sat in the flames and was destroyed. I quite see the problem.

I always thought Joey was the reason for the woman only having one leg, but it is the fake leg that Joey threw on the fire. That makes it sooo much better. But I always thought he burned her real leg because he said it was worse than burning the dog, I believe burning a fake leg is better than burning a dog alive.
