One of the highlights of my year was finally kickstarting my fitness journey. I started in September and I feel stronger than I've ever been. My motivation was that I wanted to eliminate my PCOS symptoms. Usually, my period doesn't come for 8 or so months, but through your help in meal ideas, motivational and strength training videos, I was able to get my period again-- for 2 consecutive months at that! I don't know you personally but you have had an impact on my life. Big thanks to you!

@@abhamahant9878 on my first month i started with doing cardio everyday usually for 20 mins. I educated myself and it turns out that strength training is the best workout for women with PCOS. When i discovered joanna's channel i started to prioritize strength training more (i did her beginner ST videos), and then progressed weights weeks later and switched up the exercises when i got the hang of lifting :) now i do ST 3x a wk and do cardio 2x in between days :) hope this helps!

I almost gave up my new years resolution last year. I had the resolution to lose weight and sign up for a gym membership. But I kept postponing it. Then we went in lockdown and eventually stepped on the scale and that was the wake up call I needed. Started to track my food intake, eat more healthy and found your channel (and many others) and started with work outs from home. One of my new years resolutions this year is continue what I'm doing now and hopefully have my goal weight by summer.
@@jackieweaver3884 For workouts I also do workouts of Emi Wong, Chloe Ting, AllBlanc TV and a few more. To track calories I use Myfitnesspal and I got a Xiaomi Miband 5 for Christmas.

I just made a workout journal and listed my goals in there. I fell off my workout schedule after xmas. My goals are very small goals but attainable and I can keep consistant without being overwhelmed. I am now on a 6 month healthy eating plan and exercise plan. I took pics from 4 months ago too now and i look smaller and more lifted lol. Thank you Joanna I always loved you're advice.

You made me lose 25kgs Joanna and I can't ever thank you enough for that. But I haven't been able to shed the last 6/7kgs over a couple of years. This is kinda stubborn. And it's really difficult to keep your spirit high when there's not much progress to be seen
Congrats!!!! I'm so proud of you!! You've come so far through lots of hard work, determination and being consistent. Yes, the last 6 - 7kgs are the hardest to lose, as you're body will tend to want to "hold on" to the fat. It will take time and the weight loss process will be slowly. But at this point, let's focus on building up your strength and endurance even more, eat a well balanced diet (don't under eat because that can slow down your metabolism, making your body hold on to fat) and I can assure you that the weight will eventually drop. Congrats!!!
In 2015 I watched your video and lost around 30 kgs in 15 months (86 kg to 56kg ), I started gaining back from 2019 and currently I’m 75 kg and I’m struggling to start.Again I’m restarting I want to lose 25 kgs this time in 12 months- want to feel the way I felt back in 2016 at me .I’m starting a new life again.
I started my fitness journey in March 2020; I'm 70lb lighter, getting close to my goal and I'm fitter than I've been in years, largely thanks to your workouts -Thank you Joanna :) - my aim for 2021 is to simply keep going, slow and steady and to not lose sight of how far I've come.
Made resolutions in May 2020 when I was at my heaviest, started working out and eating clean but with little or no knowledge, went through a lot of yoyo and plateau phases, thought of giving up by December, but still dragged on and dreaded workout went back to my old eating habits till February 2021, finally gave up in March and then once again started back on track in April. Lol, it's a serious rollercoaster journey🤣

And so watching your videos and applying them really helped me out and determine what I need to do for my body . I started my fitness journey in late December last year , and for the first time in my life I can feel that I can achieve it and turn this journey into a lifestyle , like I feel it in my heart and that's enough to tell me that I can do this . The be careful with who you share your goals it's so true. My own family always tell my I'm crazy for waking up early to go for my hour walk and always try to make me eat what they're are eating and not the healthy food I cook for myself instead MY FATHER'S EX WIFE and her husband are always cheering me up and even let me go to their house to use their building private gym. Been doing you inner and outer thighs workout just now at 8pm (my leg workout schedule) and come to realize this vid just come up. Started my fitness journey in Aug 2020, workout from home only and i lost 10kg. Now im targeting another 10kg more hopefully i can lose weight before raya (targeting ideal weight). My fitness goal in 2021 is to tone up my muscles and increase my strength. After 2020, my body got flabby and weaker from irregular meals and sleeping times.
Started april 2020 my weight was 91.5kg Being 70kg I had traveled from my country for honeymoon then after honeymoon i become 80kg and lost 6kg 74kg and gained 2.5 kg at the end of 2020 I was 76.5 kg i am still strangling to reach my goal which is 58 kg wish me lucky I have never seen my weight under 70kg
I started working out at the start of 2020, and just became more and more motivated. I started doing HiiT and then found your channel and enjoyed your strength and ab/cardio workouts. I lost a stone. I lost an inch or two around my belly as well, and I felt more energised and less anxious, then BAM...., I strained my knee doing too many squats, and that was last summer! I’m still getting twinges now, it’s so frustrating as I haven’t got back to exercise for over a month now. I’ve got out of my routine. I need to get motivated again, maintain my weight, tone up more and lose another few inches around my belly. If you can post some videos that are HiiT and strength without weights, lunges or squats, then my knee would be very happy 🙏😆

Hey Joanna. It is so important to find out your why for exercising isn't it. I have ADHD, so exercise massively helps me to manage my emotions and general mood better. And your inner motivation is the key to success, 100% yes. I am always telling my clients this, to have a real inner desire to get fitter, stronger, more conditioned, etc. And to just be the best version of themselves. Hi Joanna! Thank you for these practical tips! I'm a health coach. I went through menopause last year and still go through hot flashes. I noticed that my belly started getting bigger with menopause!--and wouldn't get smaller even with my usual strategies. My greatest accomplishment this year has been to be happy about my small achievements. Small progress is still a progress. Even though it's hard some days, I don't feel uncomfortable in my body and skin. I'm starting to accept myself everyday. Everytime I feel down or sad, I workout or go for long walks. It's not just a means of losing weight anymore. It's something that helps me stay sane and that's the biggest lifestyle change I've done this year. I used to workout 2-3 days a week & now I try to squeeze Atleast 30-40 min of workout everyday (Atleast 6 times/week). I have better eating habits. A better relationship with food. I hope someone can get inspires by this and start their fitness journey as well ✨♥️

Hi Joanna! I started my fitness plan goal 1st week of January this year. I was 67kg a month ago now I am at 65.5kg & considering it slow. I set goal to myself with 60kg by end of Feb which means I need to loose 1kg weekly, however It seems that I wont achieve it.. Im doing IF atleast twice a week, low carbs diet & some running or home workouts(if body is in the mood) Your 7 tips helps me to get back on my track as I did most of wht’ve u’v mentioned in your video :)

I just started doing exercising on july as i saw I'm gaining weight and having pains on multiple areas on ny body.....not gonna lie at first it was really painful and i really don't wanna keep up but i wanna show everyone that even i can be slim and not only slim I'm gonna be the fittest and it's been 7-8 months I'm doing excercise regularly and I'm so proud of myself that i did it 😭 and many of my friends started by inspired by me and the main thing you we're my first fitness expert and i followed everything you said and your healthy diet..... thank you so much and you'll always be my first teacher forever ❤️ edited: forgot to said i lost 7 kgs or maybe more bcz i haven't checked after November 😅

In 2020 I got engaged to my partner in crime 😊 We were also fortunate enough to buy a house together during this pandemic. Now my goal is to lose 32kgs before the Wedding. Yes, during lockdown I lost a lot of motivation and became very lazy. I did try a lot of diets and home exercises but was not in the right frame of mind therefore didn't get the results. Changing my lifestyle now!!! Walking everyday to reach my 10 000 steps and going to use these guidelines to get myself on the right path. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us Joanna.

I love to do workouts because it gives me a lot of energy and at the same time i lose weight. I started my fitness journey last Sept. 20,2020 and I lose 10kls in a span of 3months, and I'm happy about it. still working with my gw which is 60kls. My current weight is 68kls.

I started my fitness journey in March 2020; I'm 70lb lighter, getting close to my goal and I'm fitter than I've been in years, largely thanks to your workouts -Thank you Joanna :) - my aim for 2021 is to simply keep going, slow and steady and to not lose sight of how far I've come.
Made resolutions in May 2020 when I was at my heaviest, started working out and eating clean but with little or no knowledge, went through a lot of yoyo and plateau phases, thought of giving up by December, but still dragged on and dreaded workout went back to my old eating habits till February 2021, finally gave up in March and then once again started back on track in April. Lol, it's a serious rollercoaster journey🤣
Thank you Joanna for this wonderful video, I started watching your channel last year in December and got instantly motivated to become fit but I was so lost , because I didn't know what to do !,. And so watching your videos and applying them really helped me out and determine what I need to do for my body .
I started my fitness journey in late December last year , and for the first time in my life I can feel that I can achieve it and turn this journey into a lifestyle , like I feel it in my heart and that's enough to tell me that I can do this .
You are honestly one of the best trainers I can ask for on UA-cam because I don't like going to the gym and working out because I'm shy , but you are far better than anyone else I've seen , you're like my mentor that keeps motivating me , even though your workouts are hard and challenging I still do them at times and really feel great .

The be careful with who you share your goals it's so true. My own family always tell my I'm crazy for waking up early to go for my hour walk and always try to make me eat what they're are eating and not the healthy food I cook for myself instead MY FATHER'S EX WIFE and her husband are always cheering me up and even let me go to their house to use their building private gym. Keep it up 💪 Strength training is extremely important. Do perform it 2 - 3 times weekly and slowly progress by lifting heavier.

Been doing you inner and outer thighs workout just now at 8pm (my leg workout schedule) and come to realize this vid just come up. Started my fitness journey in Aug 2020, workout from home only and i lost 10kg.

My fitness goal in 2021 is to tone up my muscles and increase my strength. After 2020, my body got flabby and weaker from irregular meals and sleeping times.

Started april 2020 my weight was 91.5kg
Being 70kg I had traveled from my country for honeymoon then after honeymoon i become 80kg and lost 6kg 74kg and gained 2.5 kg at the end of 2020 I was 76.5 kg i am still strangling to reach my goal which is 58 kg wish me lucky I have never seen my weight under 70kg

I started working out at the start of 2020, and just became more and more motivated. I started doing HiiT and then found your channel and enjoyed your strength and ab/cardio workouts. I lost a stone. I lost an inch or two around my belly as well, and I felt more energised and less anxious, then BAM...., I strained my knee doing too many squats, and that was last summer! I’m still getting twinges now, it’s so frustrating as I haven’t got back to exercise for over a month now. I’ve got out of my routine. I need to get motivated again, maintain my weight, tone up more and lose another few inches around my belly. If you can post some videos that are HiiT and strength without weights, lunges or squats, then my knee would be very happy 🙏😆

Hey Joanna. It is so important to find out your why for exercising isn't it. I have ADHD, so exercise massively helps me to manage my emotions and general mood better. And your inner motivation is the key to success, 100% yes. I am always telling my clients this, to have a real inner desire to get fitter, stronger, more conditioned, etc. And to just be the best version of themselves. Hi Joanna! Thank you for these practical tips! I'm a health coach. I went through menopause last year and still go through hot flashes. I noticed that my belly started getting bigger with menopause!--and wouldn't get smaller even with my usual strategies. My goal this year is to lose my belly Fat since I know it's not good for health. With your tips, i am excited on my new fitness goal for this year!

My greatest accomplishment this year has been to be happy about my small achievements. Small progress is still a progress. Even though it's hard some days, I don't feel uncomfortable in my body and skin. I'm starting to accept myself everyday. Everytime I feel down or sad, I workout or go for long walks. It's not just a means of losing weight anymore. It's something that helps me stay sane and that's the biggest lifestyle change I've done this year. I used to workout 2-3 days a week & now I try to squeeze Atleast 30-40 min of workout everyday (Atleast 6 times/week). I have better eating habits. A better relationship with food. I hope someone can get inspires by this and start their fitness journey as well ✨♥️

Hi Joanna! I started my fitness plan goal 1st week of January this year. I was 67kg a month ago now I am at 65.5kg & considering it slow. I set goal to myself with 60kg by end of Feb which means I need to loose 1kg weekly, however It seems that I wont achieve it.. Im doing IF atleast twice a week, low carbs diet & some running or home workouts(if body is in the mood) Your 7 tips helps me to get back on my track as I did most of wht’ve u’v mentioned in your video :)

I just started doing exercising on july as i saw I'm gaining weight and having pains on multiple areas on ny body.....not gonna lie at first it was really painful and i really don't wanna keep up but i wanna show everyone that even i can be slim and not only slim I'm gonna be the fittest and it's been 7-8 months I'm doing excercise regularly and I'm so proud of myself that i did it 😭 and many of my friends started by inspired by me and the main thing you we're my first fitness expert and i followed everything you said and your healthy diet..... thank you so much and you'll always be my first teacher forever ❤️

In 2020 I got engaged to my partner in crime 😊 We were also fortunate enough to buy a house together during this pandemic. Now my goal is to lose 32kgs before the Wedding. Yes, during lockdown I lost a lot of motivation and became very lazy. I did try a lot of diets and home exercises but was not in the right frame of mind therefore didn't get the results.
