The Storytellers: The Agony of an untold story unleashed - Ms. Meena Singh (Night )

Meena Singh female vocalist of the Night Band shares her story about her journey at The Storytellers Exclusive Music Series with The Night.
Meena Singh comes from a small village in Myagdi, Beni. Far away from the comforts of a normal life, she spent her childhood washing dishes bigger than her, had parents who drank most of the day away and shouldered the responsibility of six brothers and sisters. Her little hands were covered in blisters more than in flesh and she was denied food at places she worked. Singing was an outlet of the immense amount of pain inside of her, untold and hidden, until now.
Currently, Meena Singh is the female vocalist of Night Band.
Night is a new-school folk band from Nepal.The band uses traditional Nepali instruments to create new sounds. It aims to reintroduce the traditional instruments of Nepal to the modern generation of Nepali-speaking audience.
Some of the famous songs of the band includes - Tuina ko cha hai bhara , Sunko jutta, Putali , Kathor etc ..
