Daaagghh!?! I am super envious of the backdrop. My father worked for a company that would have built a nuclear power plant somewhere near ValParaiso, Indiana in the early 1980s. For simulation purposes, there were these fake nuclear power plant control rooms, complete with light up panels and meter readouts. Someone could turn the lights on and slide the needles of the meters about from the other side of these back drops and simulate a meltdown in the reactor, and if the person knew well enough they’d flood the chamber with boron (boron would neutralize the activity in the reactor, ruining the fuel rods but saving lives in the process). After Chernobyl and 3 mile Island, there were many eco friendly hippy types who would protest nuclear power plants forevermore. If Nipsco hadn’t cancelled their plans to build their nuclear power plant, I might have been born with some type of super human attributes due to radiation induced mutations. I wonder if these backdrops are something like the simulation panels that my dad has photos of? If not, I guess they could easily be something similar to provide an aesthetic onstage for theatrics. Either way the aesthetic has been achieved. This band is cool, but I don’t know how come I cannot find the ‘æ’ key. The only other place I’ve seen the character was on a Magic the gathering card. Great band!
