1:15 is a prime example of a mental case
2:10 if that's not functional illiteracy I don't know what is.
2:58 some people are really hesitant with their turns. I've missed green lights because of that. Sometimes I would honk too.
3:08 might be time to invest in a rear camera.

Great to see another video after such a long time! Been following your channel since 2014. The video that grabbed my attention is sadly no longer up, your first ever "Instant Justice Compilation". Truly hysterical (honestly though you didnt deserve that speeding ticket, limits across most of USA and Canada are far too low).
Great video. Loved hearing the dog at 3:35. And at 7:07 are they even allowed to do that? (use cheap ones that dont work in colder weather) That's really dangerous. I'd ask them before they service my car.

*_"limits across most of USA and Canada are far too low"_* I can't speak to Canada's speed limits, but I disagree that most limits in the USA are far too low. There has to be a balance between safety and traffic efficiency. I trust that the traffic engineers who set the speed limits, know what they're doing and that they get it right most of the time, for the best interest of the general public. Do you really want unskilled drivers and drivers who don't keep their cars up to spec, driving much faster than they already do? I certainly don't. The speed limits are usually just fine as they are, here in the states.

@@Bad_Drivers_Caught_On_Dashcam I live in Ontario, highest limit here is 110km (69mph). I dont live near areas that have 110 limits, its all 100 where I live (62MPH). There are plenty of instances I've been going 20-25 km (12-15 MPH) over yet I still feel like an obstruction because the flow is closer to 35 (22mph) over.
And a USA example, one time on a road trip to MA, crossing through NY, on a 250+ mile stretch of the NY state thruway I saw over a dozen cars stopped, only one had NY plates, all others were out of state (they know out of state drivers won't come back and fight it). Limit was 65mph, we set cruise to the limit with the general flow about 75-80.
Another time I took a trip to NY with a friend, speed limit 55, traffic was flowing about low-mid 70s, he had cruise control on 64 in the right lane. Who did the cop up ahead stop? My friend, going slower than everyone else, got a speeding ticket. He's a great driver (been a passenger with him many times). He had never been pulled over before in 10+ years of driving. He's not typically a fast driver.
Can't comment about other states though. That time I saw 10+ stopped in NY, we still had 150 miles of driving to do in MA, where we saw 3 cars stopped, all MA plates.
I get what you are saying, but IMO many stretches of highway fail to strike that proper balance imo.,

1:30- They were so angry you denied their pull through. XD
4:35- Hey Halo, does SC has photo enforced busses? Here in my county all the buses are equipped with cameras. If someone runs the stop, they get a $250.00 citation in the mail. If they do it in front of the police, the citation is $500.00, but a judge can increase it to $1,000 if they take it to trial.
    Great video.

2:46 I would recognize those voices anywhere. A very nice surprise while enjoying this video. Brought back memories of playing Halo with my brother.
Audio in car: "Ma'am, there's an object coming into view now!" Me: Yeah, the bad driver in her car!" The timing was perfect!

Nice to see you back. That cheap wiper fluid was something else. 😄 I like living in the suburban-countryside and it's been like a refrigerator at nights here. It always amuses me to hear that 40F can be considered super cold around here. 😄
Seeing your video is getting me interested in getting that episode of mine off the back burner and finally done. Your stuff helps me decide what clips to save and what to toss as I'm trying to keep the really good stuff.

Washer fluid shenanigans like that is why I always tell them not to add fluid and only add my own. I usually use the green for bugs or orange bug+cold formulas. A lot of places use "blue water" now which is just water + a bit of concentrate.

1:12 - What a bizarre thing to be upset toward you about! I'm not sure what she was expecting to happen when someone pulls into the spot in front of her. Why would her pulling forward through the spots be more important (or more logical for that matter) than your pulling forward INTO your spot? I just can't wrap my head around her frustration.

It really makes me angry when people do stupid things around school buses. There are a lot of drivers out there (not just South Carolina) that just simply don't need to be behind the wheel of any kind of motorized vehicle.

Georgia state troopers do not mess around. My family & I were coming back from Tennessee last weekend and we saw a bunch of vehicles & trucks pulled over and one driver was leaving the stop but continued to speed and we were hoping he’d get pulled over again but ig not

Hey Halo, do you see more women bad drivers or more male bad drivers in SC? At least here in PA, we definitely see more bad women drivers. Texting being the most common occurrence I see on the road pertaining to the female sex. Just an interesting question, thoughts?

    • @Bad_Drivers_Caught_On_Dashcam
      @Bad_Drivers_Caught_On_Dashcam 2 роки тому +1

That's an interesting question. Studies have yielded intriguing results. There's a stereotype about women being worse drivers than men and the studies have shown that women are generally worse in some aspects of driving, but that men are worse than women in other aspects of driving. The net result is that neither gender is overall worse nor better than the other. The studies show that women have more difficulty with spatial judgment, can often be more timid, may be somewhat more lacking in situational awareness and tend to text while driving more often. The same studies point out that men on the other hand, are much more aggressive, prone to taking more dangerous risks and are generally much more impulsive while lacking consequential forethought. This all evens out to a wash between the sexes. No one sex is ever better than the other, just that our brains are wired a bit differently (with a different hormonal chemistry), yielding different behavioral traits and different cognitive traits and processing skills.
