I like to think CBC has a dedicated graphics team that works on these full time between the games.
The beautiful evolution continues! Bravo CBC!
I appreciate the fact that they had no typos in Japanese and used Japanese traditional patterns wagara.
You're watching CBC Canada's olympic network.
Still cant beat 2016 Rio intro its give you that you energie but a bit better than Pyongyang
Pyeongchang dude, pyongyang is DPRK
@@SvarlokaGames ohhh. I was wondering why they would hold it in North Korea for the last 3 years😭😭
@@NoCluYT lol
Nothing beats London 2012
Another good rendition, but yes, the name call feels out of place.
Thanks Frothing! I knew you'd upload it : D
Didn't in 2018 because I was beaten to the punch (with a better copy than I could find though, so that's cool). :P
What's the name of the song at the beginning
It’s just their theme song. They’ve been using it for years.
As much as I appreciate the CBC using the language of the host country, I wish it follows the rules of that language. When referring to a place in Japanese, the country always goes first (ie: 日本東京).
So sad it’s come to an end 😢 until France 🇫🇷
Are you going to upload the closing ceremony version? They made a couple changes.
I don't think so. It's almost exactly the same, just a couple of video inserts replaced with clips from these Games. The same clips will likely be available in highlight reels.
Nice!
Love it 😊
I miss Dazmo Music (2004/2006/2008/2014 and 2002 SRC only)
Do you have the Paralympic version?
Here you go. :) ua-cam.com/video/sV1FHiG2qP4/v-deo.html
Does anyone know the first song. It's magical
It’s just their theme song. They’ve been using it for years.
Is Radio-Canada has the en francais (French Version)
Yes; same music, french text & soundbite ua-cam.com/video/HCw9V4sXd0E/v-deo.html
can someone tell me what cbc means?
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the government-funded TV network that usually broadcasts the Olympics in Canada.
@@FrothingFanboy thanks man
Good try, but BBC's Opening credits a better lol.
This year, BBC absolutely wins.
