Please do a 4-way comparison: Sigma 56mm 1.4 vs Viltrox 56mm 1.4 vs Viltrox 56mm 1.7 vs TTartisan 56mm 1.8
Up
The original fujifilm 56f1.2 and the new 56 f1.2 WR as well!
AND THE YONGNUO 50MM
Up
Was about to suggest the same.
hey Cris, good to see you, im your Fan since 10 years. Regards from Germany
Reminds me about your recent viltrox video. Good work as usual 👏
I thought you already reviewed this, but I was just thinking of the recent Viltrox lens lol
I would love to see a comparison between this lens and the Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN. I realise there's quite a big difference in price but it'd be interesting none the less I think. Very happy with the Sigma 56mm but intrigued with these new lenses.
Spoiler. The Sigma 56mm f1.4 is vastly better.
shd compare this with Viltrox 56 1.7 instead
@@VincentTse Viltrox also much better than TT
If you own the sigma, why would this interest you?
Thanks for this review, Christopher
Would you consider doing a 50mm lens comparison? Lately we are getting so many new 50/56mm lenses (from Viltrox, Sigma, Fuji, etc) that is hard to know which one is the best option?
I bought myself a ttartisant 27mm f2.8 autofocus on the Fujifilm X-M1, I really like it. nimble and sharp.
Great review as always but would appreciate if the title said APS-C or Full Frame to easily find the relevant reviews :)
Hello Chris please do review on fuji 8-16 f2.8 please
If you could only keep p1 lens between this lens and the 7Artisans AF 50mm f/1.8, which would you pick and why? Thank you
PLEASE DO A COMPARISON OF THIS AND THE 100$ YONGNUO 50MM
can i use it on fuji xa20?
Please help me Decide, TTartisan 56 vs Viltrox 1.7.. Please :)
Viltrox, superior image quality in the corners and less focus breathing. Both perform great though and neither would disappoint.
@@user-ny1rd4xi1z i did go the viltrox route already
At that price you're getting a LOT of value. Kinda like the Canon Nifty Fifty.
Between this and the Viltrox f/1.7 it seems like the Viltrox is a bit better, but for some reason it's not available for Sony mounts. Also their 139USD price went up to 169USD, so it's not cheaper anymore.
It’s on my Amazon “Wish List” and it’s still priced in the US at $139.00
@@jazzgtrs1243 on their official store page went up to 169USD, and b&h photo has no stock left at 139USD. It could have been some introductory price or something, or maybe nothing
Viltrox already has a 56 f1.4 for Sony
@@AaronFigueroa1 yes, for 2x the price.
👍
The Viltrox 56 1.7 seems to be quite better.
Isn't that more expensive?
Better comparison is the yongnuo
@@CocoKoi321 no
Why wouldn't you just get a 50mm f1.8 for the same price? It would be full frame too!
Well Fuji doesn't take full frame lenses so....
If it had had an aperture ring it would have been interesting with a Fuji camera, without it it's a deal breaker..shame..!!
ugh, that viltrox lens destroyed everything on-site.
Not for video obviously
Fujifilm cameras in general are never sharp because of the autofocus stuck on gen 1 dslrs
Is this a crop-censored lens? I have a Sony 7r3.
Crop yes - listen at 20 seconds in 😉
Unfortunately the sigma is worst in flaring. It produces a rainbow when a ray of light comes into. It's become unusable
Weird, because I never had such issues with my copy of 56mm sigma, lose of contrast yes, but seeing a flare is really rare.
