Just my non-expert opinion, but I think a type 4 male would seem a little like an 8 on occasion. Of course, the sx tends to be mistaken for an 8. I, too, crave emotion, and will listen to music, or even instigate in order to get an emotional response from another. Not proud of that. I think this is when the 4 seems like an 8, but they only visit, because they can only visit.
