Ben Hallock, who is there starting center, took this tournament off, Hannas Daube, the olympic usa leading scorer wasnt there, Johnny Hooper who is thier swim off specialist, and key offensive peice for them, is not playing water polo after the Olympics, Ryder Dodd, the best college player in the country and had 8 goals in paris took this tournament off. Adrian Weinberg who was best goal keeper at Olympics took half the matches off here in Romania. Alek Bowen, one of the best shooters in the world took this tournament off. So a whole different group of mostly younger guys.
No, it's actually not the same group. This tournament featured 7 players debuting for Team USA on the international level and 5 returners from Paris. It was a great opportunity for some of the newer players to gain experience at this level! Thank you for watching!
@LukeGreen12 I'm curious why they would take the World Cup off. Interesting. In any case, going 3-2 with some younger guys isn't too bad. It's a different squad with Hallock and Bowen. I remember playing against Alex Bowen in high school and even tho he's a couple years younger than me, he was still an absolute monster.
Yikes. This the same group that took a bronze medal in the Olympics? Looks like they're missing some key pieces.

@@no1likeyou not sure why either. Probably because it has no qualification implications. Then agian it’s not a small tournament
