@@paulgrahamedwardspencer5161 Well I am betting you voted leave lol anyway its not useless rules actually alot of accidents and injuries happen from getting in and out the cab improperly I my self jump out the cab after a 3 hour drive thinking I am superman so eu or not its common sense to tarin all and not just some to be safe and protect yourself from injuries because when you cannot work we taxpayers end up footing your NHS Bils.

Great video thanks for sharing I have my test towards the end of the Month, I passed my C+E 4 years ago an due to being in the Army have never been required to complete my CPC, wish I had just done it all them years ago when it was still all fresh haha, thanks for the video anyway it's been a great help.

Hi what would be the correct way to check the wind deflector keeping in mind 3 points of contact safety rule. Would it be correct to say get a A frame ladder to look ?
I failed this test due to not getting in the back of the truck good video anyway but the cpc seems to be a big money making scheme

@@BizlaC I'm in for about 2k, passed everything just fine except for this sack of shit. Having this isn't going to make me any better of a driver, it only exists to rob me of £250... I can drive a truck perfectly well but not for a job because that makes sense.

cpc, got to do these courses to keep a licence that I passed the test on 20years ago.And it,s worth nothing,no extra pay,no real qualification ,make it worthwhile if its called CPC then that should qualify you to become cpc holder and be able to manage your own trucks ,so then you could run a truck on an o licence if you wanted.

this is a proposition in some eu country's to be able to get a owner driver o licence but is because of the self employment in transport is getting tackled as a worker must respect working hours of maximum 48 hours week or 60 hours and take the 12 off as soon as possible. so self employed are modern slaves

I have been driving since 1986 first in 7.5-ton lorries then taken my test in 1992 on a class one manual lorry, then passed my test on a PCV manual coach in 1996 can drive any PCV vehicle have years and years of experience driving pretty much anything with wheels. but then they brought all this money making racket con in which I'm 100% don't agree with for the older drivers with years of experience it's pretty much taken the piss making others make a lot of money out of something which was never here in the first place! when the last day came in when you can no longer drive refused to play ball to all this in protest toke redundancy my company was not happy they said they would not pay for the CPC my argument was why should I pay when it's helping them so left. I wish everyone would stand together in this country like me and simply refuse as we have so much power in our numbers but the British are too cowardly to stand and be counted!
this must be for new drivers that got the licence after November 2009 because the older licence are only required to pay a corruption fee and stay there 5 days , and you can do the same module for the 5 days, if that was for real education would be compulsory to do all the modules
is this a joke? been driving Hgv for 9 years and now I've got pay 330 quid to sit cpc and answer anal common sense questions that you could answer without any driving knowledge.

just had a look on the gov site I don't need initial cpc mod 4 as I have aquired rights I'm booked in for 35 hours periodic over 5 days.
still seems like a con though , I've read that periodic training is an attendance course.

when do circle check before driving off, whilst out of vehicle checking the lights etc, is the key in or out of the vehicle ignition. common sense says out, but could anyone confirm please?
Id say to the examiner, i take the key out of the ignition in case someone were to enter the vehicle while i'm out at the rear doing checks or lock the vehicle for the same reason.

Hi. You have missed some questions for example 1 2 3 etc
the free here all ok next thing I do is check that the horn is working, turn ignition on technical and then I check the operation of the washers and wipers we can see their fight next thing we do is the braking system and the Speedo is working so normally he would driver vehicle forward and tester breaks and speedo however at our head office there's no requirement to move the vehicle forward so you explain to the examiner but that's what you would normally do once we done that the engine running we would check the mirrors for excessive exhaust smoke so I check the left side and I check the right side and we can see the exhaust systems ok and they're turning engine off I'm going to ask Examiner to her sisters in checking the brake lights so it goes to the back of the vehicle will turn the ignition on when a fire breaks and they're so that's fine and then we can turn the ignition back off and now we're going to turn on the whole night so we turn on dipped headlights the main beam headlights hazard lights fog lights and then we can exit the vehicle and check the lights outside and we also need to check when I get out the speed limiter certificate and the tachograph inspection certificate

Do trucks have a brake light switch so you can check them yourself when you're on your own?
Some do but not all examiners like you to use them so ask your local instructor to guide you.

maurice wilson but fallowing your thought. CPC is needed in my opinion. Many drivers couldn't be bothered to secure the load or in fact pay any attention to the truck. Good old driver will walk through CPC test with no problem

got my cpc test before getting any lessons in driving a hgv vehicle. Will this give me a disadvantage? I mentioned this to the training company I'm using and they said most people do it this way?

I managed to get my medical, all theory tests, training & practical test done in 3 weeks. Had to travel to different test centres to get it done quicker but it was worth it - I passed my test on Friday. Good luck!

I was then on holiday in June so couldnt get theory booked until end of June then got my wedding next week with the honeymoon so too busy then next opening for the prac is endif sept

Lol. So you have to check your seat, before checking your mirrors, then you have to make sure your Hand brakes on and it's in natural. WTF. First thing you do in any vehicle when entering it, is make sure the hand brake is on and it is in Neutral. DER.....
