Making Disney100 Cake Mouse Ears 🍰

- I started creating mouse ears that look like cakes the other year, so I knew I definitely wanted to make some cake ears themed to the Disney100 celebration! This is not intended as a DIY video, rather this is designed to show the full behind the scenes process of what goes into making ears like this! Hopefully I'll be able to get to Disneyland sooner rather than later to enjoy the Disney100 celebration!

I am a hobby baker and make cakes often and would proudly wear these on my upcoming trip to Disneyland. Great job!
Your crafting videos are my literal favorite. Your attention to detail is impeccable! Thank you!
oh my gosh these are ADORABLE! i love the extra touch the sprinkles add :)
Wow, thank you for taking us behind the scenes, I really enjoy seeing all the little extra touches you put in to make them look so yummy! I was surprised you go back in & add the baked edge & also secure the sprinkles with varnish! The finished ears really show your dedication & artistry 🤗 Disney should pay you for this design! I hope you get to Disney soon!
I am always so impressed by your operations! The ears look great 😊
Love your videos! It’s so great to see your behind the scenes! Please do more of these videos!
Cool. So many people on the internet make cakes that look like everyday items. You did the opposite.
Yes, the opposite version of cake illusions!
I don't know if you are still doing Ears at volume for your shop, but I have a tip from my theatre days that might speed you up. (Sorry if this unsolicited advice is annoying.)
Plain woven fabrics will tear on the grain giving you nice straight lines for your bows. Tearing strips of the correct width would get you long strips that would be easy to chop into the correct length. This might not work as well for coated fabric like your holographic silver.
I use a lot of specialty fabrics for bows, unfortunately, but when working in bulk I do use a rotary cutter to make things a bit speedier!
These a freakin adorable. I need a pair stat.
hey EMIY YOU ARE SOO CRAFTY AND SO TALENED PLUS I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
Hi Emily. I love hour creative you are and the ideas you come up with. Understandably, it took quite a while to create your ears. But the effort was worth it. They came out so perfectly and literally look like real food ingredients. Good enough to eat. Ha ha. ~Ali 🎀🏰💖
These turned out so cute, thank you for sharing the process with us 🥰 keeping my fingers crossed for you to get back to Disney soon 🤗
These are super cute!!!
So cute!!!
wow, that was amazing
They look so amazing!!! I hope you get to wear them many times to Disneyland!!
These look great! I just got back from disneyland and the disney100 merch and decorations were sooooo pretty.
I absolutely love watching your ear videos, they're very soothing and they make me appreciate the beignet ears I bought from your Etsy shop even more than I already do! Thank you for another great video, Emily :)
They look sooo good! 😍
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you so you can hopefully wear them to Disney soon!
This. was. awesome. Cake looks so realistic it was making me hungry. Thanks Emily!
Look good enough to eat (as always)!
These turned out so cute and a lot better than any of them that they have in the parks!
ahh they're perfect!! i love purple and rainbows (iridescent is like rainbow-adjacent, right? haha) so disney100 is right up my alley!!
I wish I could buy some of your cake ears for my birthday 😞 not sure if you’re selling any, but that would make my birthday this year! I love watching your videos and your work 💕
If I have enough requests, I might make some to sell!
@@MagicallyEmily amazing! Thank you so much for responding, I’ll keep a look out 😄 will it be on Etsy? Just in case
I post all sale info on my Instagram, and the sales themselves are on Etsy :)
didnt i read an article recently on how disney's army of harvard lawyers were cracking down on etsy sellers that do homemade ears?
They specifically have a lawsuit against one couple who ran a Disney Facebook group, made themselves look like Disney official, sold counterfeit merchandise/merchandise using Disney IP, made profits from AP discounts, etc. Disney gave them multiple cease and desists that were ignored, then brought out a lawsuit and banned them from the parks.
@@MagicallyEmily damn being banned from the parks is probably worse than going to jail lol
