Thanks for accepting my challenge, Dave. Great list and you are absolutely right about the bigger items being the one's thought about. That's what I like about this challenge is it's about each person and their best uses and not the ones with the most or most expensive attachments. Thanks for pointing all those others out. The filled rear tires is a game changer and actually my dealer won't sell you a tractor without those filled. They say, and I agree, it's too dangerous without that added ballast. Have a great week!
Hi Dave, Thanks for posting your list. I appreciate that you have low cost items and big ticket items included too. Great point that there is a regional componet to someones add-on choices. Nicely done. Dan 😊
Perfect Top 5 Dave. I to like the fact that they aren't all expensive store bought items as well. Home made attachments are great if you have the means to make them and will save you a bunch of money as well. A simple clevis hook on the tail end for pulling, was the first thing I put on the back of my Blower Van, just in case I got stuck and needed to pull my self out, and yes I used it twice...lol. I just put a block heater in the van this summer as well, that takes the place of the oil pan heater that I had to use last winter because someone removed the original block heater and I didn't notice it was missing until I needed it. I do , however, Like that last attachment the best. I will never go without a snow blower on my property. I pushed snow for 18 years out here and one season with a 16 HP tractor and a 44 inch Bercomac blower has changed my life. Now I am getting rid of snow in style with the SB1164 ( with the "home made" 6 inch wings) making it a 76 inch wide blower. Great video as always and the wood shed looks great as well. See you in the next one and Cheers from Sask, Canada.
I saved a boatload of money and got a snow pusher instead of a blower. What you call a scraper i refer to as a boxblade and i use that to move snow as well. If you adjust your top link properly you can move snow and not disrupt your gravel drive. Im also in new England so snow is nothing new to me. Your pallet box is neat, i went with an ICB tote i had laying around, once i removed the plastic tub its a premade crate for moving firewood. Loaded tires are almost mandatory on these little tractors, the loaders will easily overpower itself and flip you forward. Good list.
That's a great list Dave. Some of my more economical ones are a toolbox tray and toolbox to the loader bracket. A heavy hitch and suitcase weights for in close ballast for a tighter footprint and a cheap receiver luggage rack that goes in the HH that i use as small carry all.

Thanks Stephen, I really want new tractor owners to realize they don’t always need to have what the other guy has. Be creative, just like your list.
I live in Florida, Massachusetts. Do I need a block heater?
I have seen many manufacturers recommend if your temperatures go below 20°F. So in your case yes it’s probably a good idea.
