      Yeah, a beautiful place and nostalgia to see a steam locomotive operating.

    seems like a hundred years ago, This was my first Model Railroad club and I was their first Junior Member, (The HO club) we were in a different building in the park. It was also called the Lackawampum Model RR club then, how's that for some screwing around LOL. It is a really cool park too, So glad Mr McCormick "foisted" playing with trains on us all. Thanks for sharing it too!

    My dad is a member of the o gauge club and I have run the o gauge layout from time to time for 3 years. We are thinking of joining live steamers. So happy you were there. You should review the trains in Colorado. Rode almost all the narrow gauge up there.

    I agree every city should be required to have a park like that.

    those small trains looked super cool, when you put the camera on the side of it looked as if it would flip on its side!

    Toy Man and Karen with a 7.5" Gauge rolling around the homestead would be fabulous. Priceless was your remark on the indoor layouts at the convention. I was thinking Holy Something but you covered it. ANOTHER Brilliant adventure. Don't ever worry about your brain farts, we all get them. My mouth, I know, is my worst enemy. Carry on-an on-an on.....

      +Jeanne Uzar Takes SPACE. A friend has a 70 acre railroad about 70 miles from here. Hum...... As I laid over one mile of his track he says we can use it any time. Need a train though.....

    Toyman I really enjoy your videos showing real-life steam, miniature trains. I have a recommendation that you check out train mountain in Oregon. It's located just north of Klamath Falls also near crater Lake and very wealthy the individual bought over 2000 acres of land and put 35 miles of track in the 7/2 inch gauge strongly recommended you check this out. This is the ultimate screwing around

    • @ToyManTelevision
      @ToyManTelevision  7 років тому

      If not build it. I'm always amazed the this stuff gets built at all. But it's everywhere because people love to screw around. And build stuff...

      Certainly tempting but alas I'm rather short on funds and wouldn't have the space even if I did. Living close to the city is nice, but it does mean anyplace with decent space is a fair way away. One day maybe. I'd love to have my own ride-able train. Come to think of it maybe there is a at least one place within driving distance where one can ride mini trains. Now if only I could remember the name

    • @jakeandzack5763

      P&P is short for Paradise & Pacific, the railroad that is run at the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park.

    If you're still in the area, I would suggest checking out Maricopa Live Steamers in North Phoenix. They have a big meet coming up where hundreds of people come from around the country to run on their 15 MILES of scale track. Check it out at www.maricopalivesteamers.com

      +SmeagolPlaysMC Yea, but "movie" works. The term came out in the early 1900's meaning moving picture. So....

      Toy Man Television Well, in order for something to be a "feature", ie movie, it must be 40 minutes or more. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feature_film
