I had a hair transplant scheduled for September. I began buzzing the head to live with what my genetics had in store for me in the near future. It did not take long for me to feel comfortable with my new look. Knowing I had a hair transplant scheduled helped me continue the look, knowing I had a solution on the horizon. Dude I'm 18 and have no idea what's going on but my hair is thinning fast. I know all of you guys are older and much more comfortable but I can't let it go yet. But if it's alopecia then I'll have to face the same decision as you. Anyway I can gain confidence while making the change look normal? A lot of people know me for having hair and so if I just go bald like that (I'm in uni) I honestly don't know how people would react. I'm insecure like that

I love shaving my head and have done since I was 28 years old. Can't imagine myself any other way although once it gets to 3 days length unshaved I do have a thing about not wanting to many people to see it but that kind of goes away with age and once you become more assured of yourself you'll stop giving a toss what people think of you as often they are too busy worrying about themselves. Don't let your insecurities rule you: take control of them. However, as a very pale guy living in an extremely hot country (often 33°C here in Summer ) I do still have to use a baseball cap everywhere outdoors in the summer as otherwise I'm at high risk of skin cancer and nobody, nobody wants a burn on their scalp. But those cons aside, bald is awesome. You look more dominant, more masculine, heck you even feel it. It looks clean when shaved regularly and with a beard it gives an air of wisdom and confidence about yourself.

Concern about bald head structure might looks weird and many more. All the nice Consolation compliement. Finally, after all the personal reasons and most importantly all guys and male siblings have been asking and mocking, what the heck you holding onto the balding while you can choose to looks much better and way younger???
