Wasn't his campaign was to smash the gangs on immigration, and not to raise taxes for "working people", to cut waiting times in NHS, will hire additional asylum caseworkers to clear the backlog of claims and set up a new returns and enforcement unit to fast-track removals to safe countries (then scrapped Rwanda).

If Labour wanted to stop illegals coming to The UK, they could have done this on the 5th July by closing the boarder and stating that, anyone arriving here by small boat or back of a lorry will be immediately deported back to The EU. By stating The UK will not be taking people who pay and cross The Channel, the onus is on EU countries to sort it out, after all The EU allowed them to enter mainland Europe in the first place, not The UK's concern. No need to go 'after the gangs' as people won't pay £15,000 to traffickers if they know they won't be allowed into The UK. This action would save The UK Tax Payer billions.

I'm just an ordinary working class woman and I knew that this country is in serious debt and has huge financial burdens. If Starmer and his chancellor truly didn't know, they couldn't have been doing their jobs sufficiently and must be a couple of idiots. Isn't it the job of the shadow chancellor to follow what's happening with the countries finances. Nope, i can see millions of people dying because of this. Crime rates are trough the roof. Murder by a sharp object is the main one and it isn't people like me doing it. Grape is up 6x from 20 years ago. Its a free for all out here. Crazy.
